  I wonder if I could ask for a little help on a very simple question that I don't see the answer elsewhere (please redirect me if I missed!)

  I would like to design a very simple logo with a few forms, letters and colors contained in a box, but I want to use as a logo for my Web page and also on paper to header/card etc.

  Can you please tell me what is the best profile to work with (I assume impression as higher PPI) and what format I need to save it as (even once, I presume pdf but please correct me if I'm wrong).

  Finally, as I want to use the same logo in all settings (letters printed, web etc.) I need to make a different profile for each use/logo, or can I do a (the best 'profile') the file and use it in all situations?

  Some very simple things.

  If you want to have the same appearance in print and on screen/web, you should start by working in CMYK color Mode, then use a RGB version for screen/web. If not, you seriously different colors, probably disappointing in the press, because the CMYK range is smaller and less bright.

  For printing, use vector illustrations, not high PPI. PDF is good.

  For site web/screen, PNG24 for sharpness and color or SVG, not use JPEG.

  The side of web you found have CMYK to RGB conversion information which is invalid and useless. It's the same thing like finding a currency conversion site informing you that 1 US dollar is 1.56 money but do not you say in what currency is that.

  And even if you find which profiles have been used, how is that it will be useful for you? Let's say they have used a profile of RGB colors for a particular device. This color profile is useless for you, unless you have the same device in the exact physical condition when the unit has been used to create the color profile.

  I have (3) facility profiles of storage using 'User-defined storage Capablity' as shown below:

  Then, I set up a storage Cluster with my local disks on dv01 (only to date)

But once the backup completed, bridge shows the psb as "Untagged" in the category of metadata "Color Profile". Similarly, the 'Get Info' box, under 'Détails', lists no color profile for the psb. Is this normal? If Yes, then what is the best way to get the psb tag Adobe RGB (1998)? And if not, then how can I get Photoshop to successfully integrate Adobe RGB (1998) when I save the tiff as a psb in the first place? Thanks for your help! -Mark

  Your file is like most even when referenced, but Bridge preferences are set so that they do not deal with an overview on this large-format, so it turns non-marked. I bet that if you open the psb file and choose the drop down menu to display the color profile to the lower left of the document window, it displays the correct profile.

  Do not use Adobe RGB for the web. Most web browsers accept only sRGB images so make sure you convert your images to sRGB before putting them on the web (file-> save for Web & devices done automatically for you)

  You can use the Profile Manager to separate profiles of browsers. Everything works very well.

  The warning on the article use the Profile Manager to create and delete profiles of Firefox is probably for several reasons:

  • The Profile Manager can be confusing finding a way access and use
  • It is mainly used as a troubleshooting step and the user interface so that it could go away or change to the future of Firefox version.
  • It is easy for less experienced users to do dangerous things like stuck in a new profile, or accidentally delete the default profile.

  But I don't see how using Firefox profiles offer an advantage over Windows user accounts. There is no real password protection, anyone can delete / see / use other profiles, and the user interface is poor.

  That being said, many people use profiles to manage different versions of Firefox without problems.

  This is typical of a corrupted profile.  To recover, perform the following steps:
