  In the image as an attachment, the largest rectangle rounded on top was the same as the one on the bottom corner radius. However, one on the bottom is not the same aspect and looks more stairs, even if I extended just one to create the bottom of the top.   Once the corners have been rounded, which extends shape will distort them. If you want to resize. try to select only the lower corners with the direct Selection tool and dragging them down.

  I have an application developed using developer 6i, forms, and reports, as well as the Oracle 10 g for a school database. The application consists of student information, collection of fees and sms sending to parents.

  There are a lot of problems, with this app, DB is very heavy I'm using Oracle DB 10 g, installtion of 6i developer on the latest version of windows is another puzzle etc.

  Now, I want to pass to the application of the latest technology, but want this are light weight.

  Can I develop an application of light weight with ADF web application?

  Also, I want to use mysql as database.

  (1) you can use mySQL. I prefer Oracle XE, as it is better suited for the ADF.

  I want to choose between T410, T410s.

  I have to hurry... help me please.

  The + and -:

  T410 is equipped with several connection ports, 4 USB... T410s has only 2 USBs far I know.

  T410 comes with i7, T410s comes with i5 processor

  T410 is more robust than T410s (now I have a X61T)

  T410 comes with 500 GB of HARD drive, T410s is delivered with a SSD more xxxGb in the ultrabay slot (if possible)

  T410 can be installed with extra batteries and battery 9 cells, T410s comes with battery 6 cells, without supplement

  T410, T410s is almost the same size, screen, keyboard, no difference.

  I prefer to W7 64 bit with 8 GB of RAM.

  What I do with it: I mostly use at home, in front of the television, surf the internet, making all necessary correspondence, music, video, organizing files, charge my phones .

  I prefer performance and future use rather than small format. The T410 seems to be a winner, but the T410s with SSD seems to be much faster... actually I have 100 GB HARD drive, which is not enough. I need more. However, not much more... 500 is now so much (I have a NAS).

  Which one to choose? It of more a long-term technical a matter of price decision. Your opinion? Thanks in advance!

  If you use at home, then you probably just need a T410, the T410s is really for people who travel a lot and need a size larger than the X 201 offer LCD.

  Is there an a way easy to allow users to choose between WindowsShell or Thinshell?

  We are in the process of deployment of Terminal Server in a call center. Currently, they have about 400 jobs and we convert the jobs in thin clients using Thinshell. A great solution, Bravo Quest.

  I've set up a put in place an ORGANIZATIONAL unit to deploy the relevant software and also put the registry updated and it works very well because we can control the implementation by the displacement of the pcs in the OU in a controlled manner.

  The problem is that our users hot desk and must be able to choose between TS or office without calling the helpdesk.

  We had a very brief overview of ZeroPC and is probably a more suitable solution. We welcome this release, no atmospheric pressure then not chaps.

  You could also do something like a default autologin with a user who doesn't have little or no local/network privileges and launches into the Thinshell to authenicate users 'real identity' to a desktop application / distributed via vWorkspace.  But then the user also has the ability to 'disconnect' of thin shell and connect to the local computer local explorer.exe shell.  The article refers to Rick is also very useful in this.

• Resources on application development?

  Hi, I'm a developer of new applications. I have been diving in the documentation for a couple of days now and be able to apply. However, it would have been nice if there would be more documentation on how to handle some of the things. I must say that I'm not too well C and I in particular, and faced with the creation of a GUI for my application, it says would be also nice to have documentation on some native support things like drag it in the menu dropdown. I'd love to implement a large number of this native stuff and I want to design the native application, but it seems quite difficult. Am I missing out on something and someone has some great examples/resources that I could shoot?

  The problem with the user interface is that it is not native UI toolkit still available. The Native SDK 1.0 was designed primarily to allow porting OpenGL games, but it has certainly been used for other things. Native SDK 2.0 is supposed to be in beta by the end of October, and will include a good native UI toolkit (stunts). Until there non-OpenGL application development will be quite difficult in the native SDK, probably requiring you to use Qt.

  Most of the applications you see with native user interfaces are using the AIR SDK currently.

• In house app - "untrusted application developer.

  We have built an iPad app DPS for the 'In house' distribution (i.e. the distribution via a Web site). The mobile provisioning profile associated with the application, so it can not currently be installed. I created a new mobile provisioning profile and the application will now install, but trying to open it for the first time the user is presented with the warning "Untrusted App Developer", asking if the (named) developer is approved to run applications.

  I messed up the recreation of the profile? In the Apple development tools I have

  -Click on new profile

  -selected ' in the House

  -Choose a previously created wildcard app IDS (for example. com.toby.myapp *, while the app is com.toby.myapp)-this is apparently what I chose for the expired profile

  -certificate of distribution select iOS

  -Give the profile a name

  All this sounds simple enough, the only bit that I'm not sure is the selection of the iOS certificate - I have two (don't remember why!) and by choosing one of the results in a mobile configuration profile that causes the failure, installation app by choosing the other results in an application that can be installed. I also use this (work) certificate for the certificate of p12.

  So I end up with an app install-able, but get the developer not reliable warning. I forgot something?

  I have been using Mozilla Firefox years (currently Firefox 17.0.1), but lately the convenient option (sidebar) to search the web or the New Zealand pages disappeared.

  I can click on 'Search tools' - 'the web' - 'Pages of the New Zealand' (and do the same again when I want to perform an Internet search), however, it is certainly not easy to use.

  Is there a way to get back one click the option to choose between the web search or local search?

  I bounced here of the US forum... The laptop - P50 (PSPMHA-01D00L) was bought in New Zealand of second hand, but was originally bought at Christmas Leeming in New Zealand.

  What you can do now is to install original recovery image and see what options will be available first boot after installation of recovery image.

  Think about a recovery media too. Use the preinstalled recovery media creator and create recovery DVD or USB.

  We have deployed several applications developed in LabView that are running OK under Win7 and Win8.x.

  Are there problems of known incompatibility with 10 Windows and applications created with "LV2012 SP1 that read data from cards NiDaq". We should warn our clients to not upgrade their operating system or should we ask them to install a specific version of the runtime OR or NiDaq libraries?
