Choppy playback continues in 9.0.2(b)

Hello

OMG, I just downloaded 9.0.2(b) after hoping for an update for a month. The problem is STILL not solved. PremierePro is always unusable on my system. It's bad!

Here's the situation (copied from my post about version 9.0.1):

--------------------------------------------------------------

Hello

Like many others here, I have choppy playback catastrophicly. The video is choppy, I guess, but I especially noticed the audio choppy. It has nothing do with the video effects, it operates simply by importing a video file directly into the project.

  • What version of Premiere Pro? Include the version number first Pro CC 2015 9.0.1 secondary
  • What operating system? Windows 7 64-bit, all updates
  • What type (s) of the source footage? AVCHD imported directly from an SD card in the Sony HD camcorder. Not sure about the codec, but it is 1920 x 1080 29 fps
  • What you were doing when the problem occurred? Just made a new project and import a single video file.
  • He has already worked before? Worked fine in 2014 and perhaps the first 2015 versoin - I'm not sure when 9.0.1 is out or if I tried to do a project at the time. However, my old 2014 projects the same reading jerky now in the 2015 version 9.0.1
  • What other software do you use? No relevant while working on this project - just Outlook and Firefox.
  • Do you have the third party effects or the codecs installed? No.
  • Tell us about your hardware. Make sure especially to tell us about your GPU, any hardware I/O of third parties (e.g., AJA, Matrox, Blackmagic or MOTU) and the type of media players you use. Processor Intel i7 quad core, 3 GHz, aged about five.
  • What type of GPU you have installed, including brand, model number and driver GPU? None I know.
  • Using the GPU of Mercury Playback Engine acceleration? I tried to turn it off, no effect.
  • Do you have the question at the time to choose the project settings > general > converter > reading Mercury (software only) engine? Yes.
  • The problem occurs only with your end result, with previews, or both? Output seems OK, but rendering has not helped reading within the project.

Thank you

RESOLVED: Hardware Configuration audio "Default Input" on "No. Input" has solved the problem for me. Phew!

  • Sudden, Audio choppy playback unusable

Now, I've been recording a podcast for a year, and all of a sudden my "totally-dial-in process" has ceased to exist. Sounds very well during recording. His property outside the hearing individual .wav files, but hearing audio is totally useless. The change is impossible. The sound quality is jerky, staccato, clicking, ticking, almost like fast cuts in and out - don't know how else to describe it. The strange thing is, I used a model with the same parameters for a year, and all of a sudden it began to arrive. I wouldn't change anything.

    Since then, I have tried:

    1. switching interfaces: Focusrite Saffire Pro with Focusrite Clarett

    2. hard drive cleanup, move temp adobe on external hard drive files. Currently using 200 500 GB on the main computer where the application is installed.

    3. update all the drivers and software.

    4. recording on ZOOM H6, with the same microphones - audio is perfectly clear and has been changed successfully by another hearing on an older Mac user. Same .wav files are useless when opened in hearing on my machine.

    Here is my configuration:

-MacBook Pro 2012, OS X Yosemite, 2.7 GHz Intel Core i7, 16GB 1600 MHz DDR3, using 200 GB to 500 GB hard disk

    -Adobe Audition CC 8.0.0.192

    -Device class: CoreAudio

    -Heil PR40 microphones (4)

-mic'd for Skype, Shure sm58 calls iPad (1)

-Interface Focusrite Saffire Pro (worked fine for a year)

-Focusrite Clarett interface, up to now, no difference in quality.

N ° not solved! It worked fine for an hour when I have updated software, but now (8 hours later) the problem is back. It's not as bad, but it is the same attack - almost staticky - rough with the song. How could a software update HALF-fix of the problem?

I can't say what caused your problem, but I can assure you the update had nothing to do with his jerky! Usually, this kind of problem relates to the parameters of the memory buffer, and the first thing I would look at is the size of latency you use. If it is too small, then you will get choppy playback, as the buffer may empty more quickly is to fill - the degree to which this occurs depends on other processes on your computer at the same time, that generally, the effect is quite compatible. As in your case it starts after a certain time, then it's almost certainly something else in your computer where he, I'm afraid.

Anyway, your first stop is Edit > Preferences > Audio hardware and experience with latency setting.

  • Another question about choppy playback

Hi, I use a new laptop from 64-bit Windows with processor i7-720QM Quad Core (1.6 GHz - up to 2.8 with turbo boost). I have a 6 GB ddr3 video card with memory and nVidia GeForce GT 230 M 1 GB dedicated graphics. I use a camcorder AVCHD (Canon VIXIA HF20). I get choppy playback. It is considerably improved when I changed my screen resolution of that recommend the EP 8, but playback is not quite there yet. All my AVCHD clips will play back fine with Windows Media Player. Firstly, my computer must be able to handle this, right? If so, so what exactly should I do to get the turbo boost to kick for this extra processing power? Any other advice would be greatly appreciated.

With a single HARD drive, even if a disk RPM 72 K, will fight to get there - the operating system, program, Page file, media files and make files. Things will be slow.

  • Solution: CD - RW / DVD Rom stutters or has choppy playback

    My computer specs

    Labtop model: Dell Inspiron 5150

DVD ROM: Samsung CDRW / DVD SN - 324B

    Problem

After reformatting my hard drive, my DVD-Rom is more play DVD smoothly. I had the playback choppy or stuttering. I use Intervideo WinDVD. Thinking that WinDVD could be the problem I went to Windows Media Player 10, but instead of reading who stutters, the film played too fast.

The reading was also weird, if I rebooted my computer and used WinDVD immediately, he would run smoothly, but eventually he would return to stuttering. Due to the eccentricity of this work and does not, it was difficult to identify a solution that has worked permanently (this is also the reason why I had edited this post so many times). So, I've listed all of my conclusions and solutions below.

    Solutions

    Difficulty 1

Download the last update of the BIOS from Dell downloads.

Here are the direct links for the Dell Inspiron 5150, I posted the update of WinDVD so. Since April 18. 2008:

    Update to the BIOS: ftp://ftp.dell.com/bios/I5150A38.exe

    Update of WinDVD: ftp://ftp.us.dell.com/app/R62171.EXE

I guess this would work with the other laptop Dell with their respective BIOS updates.

My results: Windows Media Player was playing much too fast, this corrects the problem DVD. However, regarding the choppy playback, I still had some problems.

    Difficulty 2

    Change your power settings.

    1. Open Control Panel
    2. Double-click Power Options
    3. Under the systems tab, select laptop

My results: Combined with the update of the A38 BIOS, it seems to work ok.

    Difficulty 3

It is recommended to make your IDE controllers are in DMA not PIO mode.

Here is a useful link on the Dell Forum, he speaks of the PIO to DMA:

    http://www.dellcommunity.com/supportforums/board/message?board.ID=dim_cdrom&message.ID=144385&query.ID=285841#M144385

    PIO DMA another link:

    http://winhlp.com/node/10

My results: System has already been set to Ultra DMA Mode 2, so this fix did not work for me.

    Level 4:

During choppy playback, I fiddled with the settings of DVD players and was able to play the DVD without problem.

    For Intervideo WinDVD:

    1. Right click on the area of the screen, select Setup
    2. On the Video tab, uncheck the "Use hardware decode acceleration" and uncheck the box "use acceleration hardware color."

I don't remember the exact settings uncheck Windows Media Player 10. But if you want to try this solution with this drive, I can point you in the right direction.

    1. Go to tools > Options
    2. Then click on the performance tab
    3. Under video acceleration, tap Advanced Options

There are options for the video acceleration and DVD video below. "Use Video Mixing Renderer", might be what I unchecked, you'll have to fiddle around for yourself.

My results: Best solution for me, never had a problem since. I use Intervideo WinDVD. The colours become slightly darker; I think they look better. (Note: I installed the new BIOS before that)

  • Choppy playback video then freezes, sounds good

I've seen similar problems already posted, but I have not seen a question like this, so I apologize if this has already been address and I just not found in the forum yet, or if it in fact as other similar questions, I saw.

To start, here are the specs of my machine:
    Windows 7 Professional
Processor: Quad 2.67 Ghz Intel Core i5 750
    Memory: 8 GB
    64-bit operating system

I just upgraded to CS5 and I have some problems with reading. I am video capture from a Canon HV40 and 1080i video. Once I have the video in first, if I play the video in the source monitor, that he will play for about 2 seconds then the video will get choppy or stop altogether, and that the audio reproduces very well.

So if I drag the video to the timeline the same thing is happening in the program monitor. Now the strange thing is that if I add a text that should be rendered on top of the video and render text, video images under the text reproduces very well. And if I add text and make out, the video under which will be rough and freeze like the regular video.

So in the attached screen shot portion of which has rendered green text times without the video is choppy and audio is fine too. Everything in the timeline for the video plays for about 2 seconds and then gets agitated and freeze while the audio continues to play without any problems.

Since I just moved here from CS3 to CS5 is a settings I'm missing or something ridiculously basic like that, that I don't know? It's as if I need to make the video because it allows playback and I don't know if it's even possible.

    premiere.jpg

In fact, the HV40 is a HDV camera, and even with the i7 - 750 humble it should handle this without choppyness.

Two things come to mind, installation disk (less than 3 disks SATA 7200 RPM) or insufficient/inefficient system setting. Pretty easy to verify. Launch process Explorer and if the number of processes is more than 50 including PR, peatlands of system under all the background processes. Ideally 40 or less.

Look here: Adobe Forums: installation and adjustment of a Vista... Guide which also applies to Win7.

  • Choppy playback of time line: associated with El Capitan?

I just bought a new imac to 4 GHz i7 with 32 GB of Ram and a video card with 4 GB of VRAM.  I had been editing in Yosemite on my old Mac Pro 2 x2.26 Ghz with 16 GB Ram ATI Radeon HD4870 with 512 MB of VRAM.  I took my records of media since the Mac Pro and them housed in a case of love at first sight 2 OWC which is now set for the new iMac with cable Thunderbolt.

I'm editing of AVCHD files shot with a Canon Vixia HF G30 mitraillees 58,94 1920 x 1080 p.  On the old system, the timeline playback was smooth.  On the new system, playback is choppy.  If I optimize multimedia clips, reading improves significantly, but I never had to do before. The new system uses OS El Capitan 10.11.2.  What is an OS problem?  Or, do you think it could be a problem, now that the media players are in a thunderbolt case 2?  I think it's frustrating because I just paid a lot of money for a system that is supposed to be bigger, badder, faster!

Are stored in libraries or external media for them.

I would try to exclude the drive first.

Run the test AJA or BlackMagic system on it.

  • Choppy playback.

I'm turned on my 4 Gopro video editing. The videos are filmed in 1440 to the 80 FPS. When I put in the sequence and want to read the clips I put together, it is super agitated. I thought it was my settings, but I realized that it only plays back choppy when I try to playback of clips in 1440 80 FPS turned. Clips shot in 1080 30 fps fine reading. Anyone have the same problem and it is just my settings in my preferences in first?

  • freezing of .mts files choppy playback and consistent

I recently bought the Sony NX3 to add to my arsenal. Unfortunately, when I import the first .mts files starts compliant video files and it takes some time. Not only that, but when I click on a file which is supposed to be consistent, the video plays back jerky and then freezes. The audio will continue to play but video just hangs. I edited before with NP .mts files even though they were HDV Files not 1920 x 1080 24 p. Mounting on a HP600 with Xeon E5520.  What are my options? I'd hate to have to transcode the files whenever I use the camera. Does anyone else have this problem?

Bingo... it's this USB connection. Guaranteed that will b e ch o pp see.

On the Page of the Tweaker (found on the forum hardware assets), they have a chart flow supported various internal and external connections by car & types. USB3 is much better than USB2 say... but still not fast enough for sustained Read/write speeds to be used for playback. Basically, for external, eSATA disks II or III or Thunderbolt are the only ones who can really carry the load.

  • Flash FLV Playback continues when I change of scene

    Hi all

    I really need your help!

I create a flash program where certain scenes have FLV players playing different videos.

They all work very well, stopping and playing etc.

However when I leave the stage by clicking on my "home" button, the video stops, but the outline of the player remains standing in the new scene!

    my code is reading;

    Stop();
    button_24.addEventListener (MouseEvent.CLICK, fl_ClickToGoToScene_98);

    function fl_ClickToGoToScene_98(event:MouseEvent):void
    {

    {
    MovieClip (this.root) .gotoAndPlay (1, "home");
    friends_vidPlayer.stop ();

Is there a way to tell playback FLV to 'hide' or disappear?

  • Choppy playback in Premiere CS4 and Win 7?

    Hey

I tried scanning through a bunch of messages to see if everyone was getting a similar problem, but couldn't find an answer.

    Recently, I upgraded my system:

    Windows 7 64 bit

    Suite CS4 Adobe

    I7 920 processor

    Motherboard ASUS P6T SE

    6gigs of RAM

    ATI Radeon 4800hd graphics card

7200 RPM, OS and Prog drive 250gig

    Reader video 640gig

    Scratch 300gig Drive

    New installation, not an upgrade.

You all have the win 7 and first updates and updates ATI.

My problem is that I loaded a project I originally edited in first CS3, loaded it in CS4, let everything load and index.

My playback is very jerky. My new system is much faster then my last configuration and yet it moves very very poor.

The images in question is a DV film. turned on DVX100b (24pa) I checked and insured than CS4 it imported in a proper order and everything seems to be aligned properly.

    I'm doing something wrong?

I checked a few sequences HDV that wasn't playing on my previous Setup, which playsback now a first timeline on the current configuration.

Is there a codec I need to download? I don't want to violate the system with random codecs and shit.

any info would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

    ABES

OK... map worked on "old setup", but not on Win7

My GUESS is that the seller must update their device driver

Note that this happens every time that Windoze (or Apple Mac!) comes out with a new OS... it takes hardware vendors and software ' while ' to publish updates... and some do never to old products, they just develop new products

  • Imported video for a few seconds, audio playback continues, help!

As many can imagine, so this is very frustrating for me. When I drag the video imported into the timeline in EP 7.0, if I try to play the video and audio, that both start as planned, but after 2-3 seconds the video freezes while the sound continues. The program freezes at all during this time. Imported clips are .avi, of a sony handycam (DCR HC26 if that helps). The video and audio play well together on WMP and others, but it is also very frustrating to search the forums for similar problems. I read on codecs and others and have no idea what the hell that is, I need a very simple explanation. I installed and run (I think) gspot v2.21 and when I click on the stat bar, he says it's a valid .avi file. Please help (with steps)!

Here's a look at the red line and the green line.

Also, regarding your i/o, you have only one HARD drive? What is its speed and the type of connection, which is SATA II, etc.

    Good luck

[Edit] Here is a better view of the red line, green line.

  • NB200 - choppy playback Office of BBC iPlayer

    Hello

I just bought a notebook nb200. I'm very happy with it. I bought it like all the comments said that she played the contents of the BBC iPlayer without problem. It's true, but I also downloaded the "BBC iPlayer Desktop" application, so I can download shows and watch them on the train where there is no internet.

Unfortunately, I found that the downloaded shows are stuttery and jumpy. I put the battery on max performance usage profile and still the problem remains.

Is that what I can do to boost performance slightly to make the video play smoothly? Normal streaming iPlayer and mpg divx movies play fine. It's just the BBC iPlayer desktop stuff that I have problems with.

Any ideas would be really appreciated.

    Jonny

The previous Atom CPU cannot make quality/high-resolution video effectively, so either the video format is too demanding (choose a lower if possible video resolution), or you must use more efficient codecs.
