Cisco 6961 handset hook

I searched google for it, and now I turn on the support forums of Cisco looking for a spare part for the handset hook.  The hook that holds the device in place on our 6961 phones are broken or lost.  I can't seem to find a part of Cisco to replace the hook when he has lost or broken and it seems unfortunate to have to buy another phone just to replace the small piece of plastic.  Does anyone know if a replacement handset hook exists?  It's the little tab that you can return to the receiver to hold the handset against the phone.  Thanks in advance for any help!

Reach out to your Cisco AM; they can apply the product on the options Manager. I've heard rumors that also does not exist (for example the stickers for phones 7900) being available to manufacture in large quantities.

  • E900 - how to change the wireless channel?

    Hello people!

I just bought a router Linksys Cisco E900 and hooked it up to my cable Internet. The Internet service that gives me my ISP is PPPoE, fiberlink (100 Mbps).

I did the whole upward. I've connected my computer (via Ethernet cable) and my laptop (via radio) to the router.

Now... There are other networks wireless around me. The Wi - Fi channel that my fixed router 1 is apparently - he saw settings. But I can't find a menu anywhere in the gateway of the router (192.168.1.1) I can change the wireless channel bandwidth wireless etc. Can someone tell me if I can change them...? If so, how? If not... that the steering wheel...

  • Cisco SPA232D ATA and Cisco SPA302D Wireless roaming handset

I read the documentation of SPA 232D and I see that it supports up to 5 stations 302D SPA.

In this project, I have 4 floors and we need a total of 15 phones:

    3 - basement

    5 - ground

    4 - first floor

    3 - second floor

When the person is using the basement 302D phone have no reception when they walk on the upper floor.

Can we do roaming between 232D? Is it possible to interconnect their? The range in the documentation may not be enough.

What would be the recommended Cisco solution for this, we want to use DECT.

    Range: Indoor: 165 ft (50 m). Outdoor: 980 ft (300 m)

Thanks for thinking of the spa232d for this project,

Unfortunately with the current firmware it does not support combined roaming between base stations.  There is not an easy way to transfer between units handsets (you must unsubscribe from a base station and register again with the 2nd spa232d).

The distance of the datasheet is optimal in a perfect environment, and I expect to be a little less real world.

I woud suggest get a spa232d and a spa302 (maybe a dealer demo unit) and test range on the customer site.  Basically, do a site survey to see where the best place in the unit.

If you need more 5 units on a floor, or signal will not reach both ends of the beach, 2 - spa232d devices may be necessary.  Some devices would be recorded to one, some to the other.

There is good documentation on configuration and management with the device calls here.

  • Droid Turbo could not connect the Cisco access point

    Greetings.

Since the upgrade to a droid turbo, I was unable to connect to the network without wire of my work. I work in the it Department, but my experience with Cisco technologies and wireless is limited, so I tried to understand why. My previous bike x worked fine. We have a network of all the access points managed by a controller Cisco 4402 running version 7.0.98 of the BONES. I was able to connect to another wireless network that I could meet outside of work, and I am able to connect to the network of my work if I connect it is unsecured guest SSID. Only connections to our 4 secure networks fail. The controller reports that my phone cannot all simply to authenticate. The controller is configured for WPA2 / AES using a key 284 on the particular network, that I am trying to connect. I entered this key manually both via copy and paste. As far as my phone goes, I only tried to withdraw and time networks like tent to start it in safe mode without success. I read on various forums android that maybe it's a problem related to Kit Kat and this kind of problem has appeared on other handsets from other manufacturers, but nothing definite.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

However, this is not the case because there is no option for handset/headset in the device profile which is an important condition for the center of contact especially when training new officers.

  • Point of access Cisco Aironet 1200 series help

We have 4 Cisco Aironet 1200 Access Points and they are all set to authenticate with our RADIUS server. However, authentication is hooked and can't understand why. Does anyone have any knowledge/experience with Cisco Aironet 1200 Access Points configuration?

OK, I do not work with the GUI so although the memory is a little hazy but from the APs home page look on the left hand side and there is an option for something like "Software Setup" or something to that effect. You should be able to find the IOS version of here. This requires that you are indeed runnig IOS code. How old are these APs? If more than a few years ago (and perhaps even more recent) that they could very well be running VxWorks and then we are in a different ball game. If you see what I have described above and the homepage for the AP is often white with a bit of greenish-blue, bluish-green color then IOS, if it is more colorful, yellow stuff and VxWOrks.

I hope this helps. Let me know if you need anything that anyone else. I will try to answer as soon as POSSIBLE.

  • Problem with the Cisco ASA 5525 X SFR and Firesight high school

    Hi team,

We have two ASA 5525 X installed on them and Firesight in a Linux VM whose two SFRs are registered with SFR failover mode. We use the SAA secondary off the hook if the primary fails to turn on the secondary manually switch the wan cable. I turn on the ASA secondary every weekend to take the configuration of the primary for the ASA and the SFR and close by button walk / stop.

Last week I turn on high school ASA and the Firesight couldn't see the secondary SFR and show the message below:

Module device heartbeat: device > don't send heartbeats.

(I should mention I can Pinger the IP ADDRESS)

I tried to study the problem without success.

I also deleted the sensor just Firesight devices management in case something is stuck, and I'm trying to re added without success.

I'm new in firepower so... any ideas?

    Thank you

Finally, this problem has been resolved by the redefinition of firepower:

    see detailed here procedure to perform this redefinition;

    http://www.Cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/security/ASA-firepower-service...

Before that, it appeared that firepower was not very healthy:

After a success "" configure Manager add xxxxx"command.

    the command of managers show show nothing;

He should have shown this result:

    > Display managers
    Host: 193.193.2.75
    Registration key: AZERTY
    Inscription: pending
    State of the PRC:

on the other hand, in expert mode, the following command shows several processes (and not in the normal state):

sudo pmtool status | grep-i down

    Last point,

After the recreation and reconfigure all this fire power, installed in the ASA secondary standby, was considered to be OK under Firesight health Monitor,.

but after 10mins, it appeared in critical condition with the following message:

    "Interface"DataPlaneInterface0"receives not all packages.

    This is normal and due to the fact that Eve ASA receives no flow and the same goes for firepower inside this ASA;

by performing a failover from the primary to the secondary ASA, this critical message disappeared for firepower inside the ASA Sec and appeared for firepower inside the ASA elementary school

  • Cisco 4510R + E power redundancy without PoE

I'm picking a diet for a WS-C4510R + E chassis with eight line cards WS - X 4748-RJ45-E (no PoE) and two supervisors 7-E WS - X 45 - Sup. The Cisco Power Calculator says I'm good to go with 'Handset 1400 Watt - Data Only' (PWR-C45-1400AC) with the participation of 200-240 VAC, but I wonder about the redundancy.

"Handset" means that I have to run both of them at the same time to supply the fully loaded chassis? Or I am able to do with just one?

    HI -.

According to your specifications, the calculator indicates that you should provide about 1800W chassis to power all line cards.  Since the 1400W P/S is not sufficient in itself, you then run 2 x 1400 in handset mode.  If you wanted the power redundancy, then you have to meet food 2800W (PWR-C45-2800ACV). Fixed: out redundant data would require the P/S 6000W. (I reread the technical and calculating power plug).

  • Cisco UCS components and software bug

I was reading on the Cisco products affected by the vulnerability of software to the following Cisco Security Council

    • Cisco UCS Central
    • Cisco UCS fabric of interconnections

My question is will it work without antenna then what antenna devrais I buy keeping in mind that I will be making it autonomous Ap with router ADSL heard they have different antennas

    Kindly help

So why would cisco sell Ap without antenna this is very starnge as per your say it will not work which is very starnge......

It is not strange.  It's logical.  How do I know what Cisco antenna, as a customer, you want?

I am setting this AP as autonomus and will hook up with ADSL modem so kindly advise the Antenna's shd i but all four.

I gave you the part numbers and I gave you the link to the document.  It's now your job to choose the one you want.  A single 1240 to ideally two 2.4 Ghz and two 5.0 Ghz antenna.  Optionally, disable either radios or possibly disable diversity.
