  Each time a random strange behavior or slowness comes, the first thing to try is a proper reboot:

  • With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes.

  See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

  A client tries to connect a headset bluetooth Plantronics Savi WT/1 t with a Cisco 7940 IP phone and it seems to work very well when he receives a call and press the button 'phone' at the bottom of the phone. However, he wants to be able to walk outside his office and be able to receive calls by pressing the button on his bluetooth headset but the button is not admissible.   When I connect the headphones to the computer (iMac 27 "mid-2011, el Capitan 10.11.3) with the original Headset USB travel cable, headset LED is bright orange and the LED color changes to green after a few minutes.

  After charging more then 1 hour the same answer.

  When I put the headset with the USB cable connected in my ear, I can hear the sound signal very low volume of pitch high e. When I push and hold the button of the headset tone is stronger.

  When I disconnect the cable, the helmet is instantly dead, no lights, no sound, nothing happens when I push the button on the short headset, for a second, four seconds, 10 seconds or even longer.

  The helmet has been abandoned, I think that 2009. So, it's long after the warranty. BT headsets have come a long way since then. The Apple headset does support A2DP, now standard. I he write off and buy something current.

My Mswifts, or his headphones will pair with my watch, although the two pair with my iphone.

  My watch IS pair with my amazon echo - so I know the bluetooth works.

  The watch is the headset in discovery mode, but when I try to pair, it gives an error and says it cannot associate, check that the camera is turned on, in range, etc..
