Classic BlackBerry Alt + Delete

BlackBerry plans to add + delete to the classic? It seems that this feature has been removed between the transition between the "BOLD" and the classic.

Ahh. Ok.

I don't know what BlackBerry plans. I am a user like you. And BlackBerry does not here on plans to that which has already been made public.

My experience is that all these keyboard shortcuts, we loved with BBOS did disappear in the passage to the touch screen, even in passing. OS5 to OS6.  If you try something you remember the BBOS and he's not here on the classic, then he's not here.

Is there a way to clean my machine.

Basically, I was sent this device to use for development. He came out a big box of business phones that are unused, obsolete (they now use Iphones).

    Thus,.

    • The device is a classic BB10.
    • I do not know the original BBID she assigned.
    • I can't connect to the device
    • The appliance belongs more to anyone. So backup/backup of data is not desired.

Is there a way to wipe it, so that I can connect with a new BBID. Or even just know what BBID it is currently locked to.

Keeping in mind, I don't have access to electronic mail recovery from anyone. However if I did not know the email, I might be able to track down who it belonged to.

    Hello

From what you describe, this device will not be usable by anyone now. That implemented such mandatory theft protection functionality requires entry of powers BBID to divorce the association between the unit and than BBID. There is no further action to WIPE that can separate the only method as security WIPE on the device, enter the existing credentials at this time here. After this RAG, a different BBID can be used or created. There's no other way.

The only other way is to return to the place of original purchase with the documentation for the appropriate property. But from what you describe, you probably don't have that either.

Unfortunately, it seems that the device is now a brick, and there is probably nothing that can overcome that.

    Good luck!

  • CTRL + ALT + DELETE alternative blackBerry smartphones?

Is there an alternative to CTRL + ALT + DELETE on a Torch 9850, with only the keyboard to touch screen to perform a reboot hard without removing the battery? When the screen freezes, or even just on a casual basis, this seems to be a useful tool and I use it often on my old curve. The light compartment cover is difficult to remove, and it would be nice to have an option other than "power off" screen

    Madam/Sir,

I just bought a classic BlackBerry Q20. My problems are:

    1. I can't fully charge the unit while it is on. If it is enabled, the battery power stops at 60%, no other.

    2. If I load normal when the unit is off, Yes, it will charge up to 100% with green led. However, when I turn on the device, it will start exactly in factory setting. All data, applications and updates are missing.

My question: what should I do? I downloaded the link BlackBerry and BlackBerry mixture, in their latest version. I also supported the unit entirely. But when this happens, and when I tried to restore the device with the last backup, the message is that my device is having a different setting with which stores the link of BlackBerry.

  • Classic BlackBerry, I have a 10 classic Blackberry

10 classic Blackberry has an anti-theft feature on this... the phone was wiped out to sell and the service has not been turned OFF... passwords are not found... and the phone is locked... This means that the phone is useless?  If so, this will be the last Blackberry buy... not impressed by the feature and warnings should be given until the phone is deleted that the feature should be turned off first...

    Any ideas?

If a deletion of precarious security has been run, or enter the wrong password 10 times and it is expected that the lock remains activated.

If the safety of the user deleted the device by going to settings > Security and privacy > Security wipe, he would have been invited to enter their password BlackBerry ID which will trigger the security wipe and turn off the anti-theft protection

In this case however, the only option is in contact with the seller and ask if they can sign in the device using their BlackBerry ID followed by disabling the anti-theft protection by following the steps listed above.

    I hope this helps!

    Hi guy,

First of all, I have a good message for you: this is not a very serious matter and could be solved easily.
I guess you cannot start the advanced boot menu by pressing F8. Fix?
If this is not possible you need a Live example Windows PE or BartPE bootable CD
    http://www.nu2.nu/pebuilder/

Start the laptop using the Live CD will allow you to use the command prompt where you can run some commands to rebuild the Master Boot Record.
Using the prompt (like a black of BACK box) shows you should type this command:
    Bootrec /RebuildBcdand then press ENTER.

Usually this should rebuild the master boot record of the hard drive and the laptop should start again the internal partition of C.

  • Equium A100-549 - reading disc error occurred press ctrl + alt + delete to restart

    Hello

I have a laptop Toshiba Equium a100-549, about 3 years, Windows XP Home Edition.
Everything worked very well so far. When starting my computer, I received the message:

A disk read error occurred press ctrl + alt + delete
I don't want to lose my data

Please please I need some advice what to do

    Kind regards
    AGM

    > I don't want to lose my data

Well. Everyone knows that a HARD disk problem can happen and all of a sudden you may lose all the data stored on the HARD drive.
That is why it s always recommended to backup the data on additional HDD, DVD, etc.

I'm not sure if this will help but try this:
Try to boot from the disk Win XP (NOT the Toshiba Recovery disk) and press r. means repair and should start the repair console.
The similar DOS window should open and there, you can use a command:
    CHKDSK drive/p/r

The chkdsk command checks the specified drive and repairs or recovers the drive if the drive requires it.

More details can be found here:
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/314058

If that does not help, then you need to reinstall new OS.

  • Tecra M5 Explorer does not display needs materials - ctrl + alt + delete

I bought a Toshiba Tecra M5 some 10 days ago and installed Windows XP, Office 2003... As I remember, early on, I had the following problem (this happens several times a day):

When I want to run a task, for example: clicking on a subdirectory in the Solution Explorer, it does not show its content. After that I do ctrl + alt + delete, it shows the content. Then I just simply close the Task Manager window and continue working. This happens in Internet Explorer and other programs. What is the problem/solution?

    Thanks in advance.

Seems to be something wrong with the software installed and the registry keys
This problem appears on the image of preinstalled Toshiba?

    Hello

To me, it seems that the HARD drive has developed a fault.
Error message: error reading disk. Please press ctrl + alt + del to restart is a typical notification if something would be wrong with a HARD drive

You can try to check the HARD disk using a disk HARD Drive Fitness Test.
It s free tool google for it if you need details

Run the test and check if the HARD drive is OK.
No, then you will need a new HARD drive and you need to reinstall the operating system.
