Classic BlackBerry classic BB... .battery associated

I bought my classic BB about 6 to 8 weeks;  When the battery drops below 20% I put it on the charger provided to BB until it shows responsible compledely.  Often then let stand all night while I'll see where the battery began to drip down?  I keep the WiFi / Bluetooth / location... 'OFF '.  The only account I have set up is a personal e-mail & business.  Draw the back course for BBerry is that (at least in my area) almost impossible to go into a store of support (ATT or otherwise) and assistance of BBerry, so I hope that this forum could give me advice on what to look out for (for example) / drain the battery overnight down.  It does not elapse while low, just one (for example) match-stik width and I'll spend the day it will slowly creep down even when I have very little call telephone and/or email activity?

Hello

Please clarify... you charge it upward, and then remove the charger and then notice some small battery drain down? If that is correct, then there is nothing wrong... it is impossible for the device sit really 'lazy', whenever market it will consume some energy from the battery to the variety of things he is continuously in the background. It's just how it works.

The best thing is to leave it on the charger while you sleep... in this way, it will be entirely fed up in the morning and I hope that spend you your whole day. There is no harm to the unit by leaving it on the charger even after that that it is fully charged.

Good luck!

It's a thing of spam prevention... you must post a number of times before you can include pictures. I don't remember how much, but I remember there are some minimum number of messages, you need to do before that is allowed. Be a totally public forum, getting us slammed with spam a lot.

Has nothing changed just before this behavior started? A new application? An update of sorts?

    Did you base... restart?

It's a pretty old OS now... I don't know what AT & T is on your model, but the most recent production OS is 10.3.2.2789... much further along 858. If the automated methods don't offer it, then you can consider using unofficial methods to get it.

If you can't think of something of causal (from above) or if you want you can move to a more recent operating system level, these methods are available:

Official methods, which will be controlled as to what exact OS versions are available:

Non-official methods, which are cleaner and allow you to choose a version of the OS that maybe your carrier (or anyone they control your offers) delays in approval:

Of course, before you start this, you want a good backup link, a manual copy of the memory of your device to your PC and complete documentation of your configuration (identification information of account, adding applications, configurations, etc.). Sometimes, restoring a backup returns unit corruption even, must be eliminated and reconfiguration from scratch can solve that.

Be aware of the risks of 10.3.2 however... There are two things to worry about. First of all, be 100% sure that you know your BBID identifiers... If you do not, you may make your useless device to anyone, including yourself. Second, once you move to 10.3.2, you cannot fall back to 10.3.1 or earlier, by any medium (for example, even the unofficial AutoLoaders can not overcome this restriction anti-secours).

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry Leap Leap battery suddenly draining power VERY quickly

I bought a new blackberry leap July 26.

The battery has been fantastic since acquisition - was very impressed - get home at the end of the day and it is still about 60 percent, could still squeeze a second day without recharging at night, if I do not use too much the next day.

Suddenly, last Sunday (August 9), he began to drain the battery like crazy... and I was not still use it.  I did work in my house and my phone was sitting in the kitchen and I heard the notification that he had devoted to the battery in watch mode in early afternoon (after being fully charged when I woke up in the morning).

Since then, (yesterday and today too), he's bleeding like crazy.

I have fully charged it last night, it is now 1:30 and I woke up at 7:00, and is at 29% left battery power.

I haven't added new applications or do something different since Sunday.

When I go to "battery use" in the settings, it shows that the 'system' is with 51%.  The next most high is "Standby" 9.9%, then view at 3.4 percent.

Any help/suggestions?    I was so impressed by the battery until 3 days ago!

The software is 10.3.2.2168 (and I've not being updated since the day wherever I bought it when I did a software update).

    Thank you!

I wanted to give you an update...

No idea why / that that has happened, I have nothing else...

But when I connected again load after the validation, I noticed it drains more and had returned to the battery usage screen showing 1 + days of use and usage of the system went down at 0.86%, with display currently th ehighest at 1%.

Anyway, the good news is that it is fixed, of course, the bad news is don't know why it happened, or how he slipped, therefore keep your fingers crossed it doesn't happen.

Maybe just posting here is the magical solution!

  • BlackBerry, BlackBerry Q5 Q5 - battery drains very quickly even in sleep mode

I have been using my Q5 for about 18 months (only SMS, BBM and FB) last week, the battery is fully charged and then within an hour it was drained during a stand by. First issue with reload - normally I go at least three days without charge. Now, a charge not lasted an hour. As a non-removable battery, I can't remove and replace. Any suggestions?

No solution, except to write the phone is off. BlackBerry of bye bye.

  • BlackBerry, BlackBerry Z10 Z10 - battery drains very quickly even in sleep mode

My BlackBerry Z10, model number: STL100-1 v10.3.1.1565 of running operating system is suddenly cause battery drain issues. Earlier it used to happen very often that the battery begins to elapse without reason to a very fast pace, say, 100% to 20% in 2 hours standby.
From last 3-4 days, which happens all the time, I'm charging my Z10 to 100% and the battert runs in an hour or two with the phone gets hot as hell. Seriously, the temperature of the phone rises as it is boiling. It wasn't even a year and I am facing this problem. I was never tired of BlackBerry despite its app support deficiency compared to Android and iOS smartphoned but now I want to throw the phone in the river.

What Android apps you have installed?

Try first, do a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way: with smart BlackBerry poweredphone, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart. A reboot in this manner is prescribed for most defects and errors of operating system, and you will lose any data on the device doing so.

Look at your device sometime and see how it goes.

  • BlackBerry Z10 Z10 battery is very poor

I've just upgraded to the Z10 5 days and loaded the latest updates via Blackberry link and transferred data from my previous Blackberry ok, I had to turn off pretty much everything, except the sounds text and phone, all other applications are in the off position and I deleted my email also, account but compared to my old phone the battery life is rubbish and I am very disappointed in This time. I can almost watch the battery life flow. If I put the e-mail account, and then use a WiFi for ten minutes, the battery is down to red within 2 hours. It seems I'll have to spend again on a new battery and charger so I can charge 2 batteries at a time. Not a happy Bunny!

Wow, you prefer declares that it is bad that ask questions and know what is happening?

After that any operating system set to level on a BB10 device, it will take 48-72 hours for the synchronization of data from device to e-mail, contacts, social applications, etc., fill and finish. Data transfer high after a CPU usage high cause upgrade, which in turn causes high battery usage. Similarly, high CPU usage will cause some lag and initial slow. Ignore and and be patient. It may take 48 hours for all contacts to synchronize to the device. And, the battery will recover after a few days. Just don't drain your battery to 10% or less each time, superior to the load. You will notice a difference after a few days.

  • Update s/w Z10 new blackBerry drains the battery

net_rim_bbid_daemon v7.3.1.11) and this fixed the problem of browser, but battery now from 100% to 0% in about 4 hours. Previously a full charge lasts about 3 days.

Someone encountered this or can recommend a solution?

    Thank you

CHRISALIS, try this first... with your 9380 connected to the wall charger and BlackBerry power, remove the battery and reinsert it to restart. This will often reset the battery meter on the device (which over time can become out of sync with the actual load of the battery). You may need to try this over a few times the next day and the next.

Don't let not your battery to flow all the way to 0-10%, top it off during the day when you can, even for 15 minutes.

  • BlackBerry smartphones, the battery life of my phone was a question of 1 day. It's a landline phone still connected to the charger to work.

    Hello

Will knidly you help me with my phones battery life because I tried to disable the updates so they don't use my phones battery?

I had to update my phone, but I doubt it will be a blackberry because of this problem.

    Thank you.

    What updates?

are you sure this isn't an application?

On device, go to Options, device, application management is a great way to see what your applications with your use of the CPU on Smartphone. Simply drag bar greater than CPU and see what happens. Also touch the CPU menu to see other time variables. I discovered that an application has been eroding CPU cycles on my own

Disable Compression on the memory card? go to Options, device, storage

using a custom theme? Try it for a day that factory by default to avoid your theme

remember the ESC key to close most applications, with the exception of GPS and some chat clients. other applications must use the menu and then exit or close. The key furthest to the right is a key to the House and does not close on its own apps, but will put an end to the calls.

    Can anyone help?

You're probably not close your applications and browser correctly and so run down your battery.

Please read these links for details and you will see that many of them will be applicable to you.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Green battery light

Hi, I just bought the blackberry 9000 and I noticed that as soon as I charged the battery, it still has this green light flashing at the top of the cell phone. This intermittent light is annoying and I want to get rid of, is this normal?

The flashing green light is the indicator of network signal, if you want to disable this, go to menu, options, screen/keyboard, change the light cover off.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones "BOLD" battery draining - overheating problems

    Hi all

I'm new here I have BlackBerry for almost 2 years (curve 3000) and I was really happy with it (no problems) then I bought "BOLD" Saturday and has exhausted the battery - overheating problems! I downloaded the new software from T-Mobile Croatia site (they have one last but which did not help) after recharging and stay all night, he went flat within 6-7 hours so I went today (Monday) and they swapped the device for me, now I'm waiting to see what will happen. I have 4 questions:

1 can I download new software version of the device from the BlackBerry site that even I bought in Croatia from T-Mobile and which will have consequences on the device? If yes what are they?

    2. what causes this battery drain - overheating problems and how they can be stopped?

    3. is Facebook app in conflict with "BOLD"? Yes I have it on mine.

4 are all the other apps in conflict with it, i.e. Windows Live Messenger because I have too much that one on it?

    Thanks in advance!

    1. no consequence... the latest version of the "BOLD" OS device is located here:

    http://www.BlackBerryForums.com/General-9000-series-discussion-bold/194263-OS-9000-bold-4-6-0-477-4-...

2 could be a number of issues, several. You have 3G enabled on your "BOLD", on the one hand, (manage connections > Mobile Network Options?, and you have a 3 G with Tmobile Croatia network?) I know not flippant, you could ask that. If your device is constantly looking for a 3 G network and not finding what will cause the big battery drain.

Check your applications running in the background. There are usually four or five applications that will be always running (Messages, Call Logs/phone, BlackBerry Messenger, home screen and the browser; there are others such as BeamBerry and alarms which will run also). Ensure that the browser is NOT on an active Web page (must return the bookmarks page only). Close all other applications that do not need to be running (the camera or a game you were playing or Google Maps).

3 No.The FB app is developed by RIM.

    4. What do you mean 'in conflict '?
