• remove a user admin application planning

  Hello
  I have a small question which perhaps you can answer easily.
  in workflow process when users, click on "change of status", to promote and approve the "admin" user enters with the drop-down list box.
  We share shared with another team of project services so I can't show my users "admin" in this list, cos I have "plnadmin" as the owner of the application.
  
  Incidentally, "admin" has been supply cancelled the planning of HSS applications such that it can not connect you to the planning application. (user doesnot exist for this message from the application).
  but there are still in the process drop-down lists workflow and "Administration-> Application Settings-> Assign application owner" combo box.
  
  How can I remove it?

  You have it connected with Oracle, I don't see how you can still see the admin user in the windows of change request owner, in theory if you restart the application planning server it should clearly read the cache and read direct tables, if as you say the user is certainly not in the windows it is something not good.

• Creating Application planning question

  I uninstalled the planning and the same reinstalled on windows 2003 server and to configure it with success. I created a
  schema for an application in oracle 10g. Using the classic application wizard, I could create an application [FinBud]. Saved in the planning of the web and be able to see the application which I just created the log on screen. But I'm unable to log into the web inorder to create the databases in essbase. Its gives an error otherwise unable to find essbase. Same I restarted the essbase server. Please suggest where I'm wrong. Also, please suggest where I can find the info of the error, I checked the folder logs but that no information. Please advice

  Open the configuration utility and go to planning and then edit your data source that is bound to your planning application, make sure that essbase information are correct.

  Another key... the planning version you're using will greatly affect your decision whether to use EPMA. I would not recommend EPMA with version 9, but I would recommend it for everything above 11.1.1.1.03.

  Oracle Essbase Client version 11.1.1.2.0
  Oracle Essbase Server Release 11.1.1.2.0
  Release of Oracle Hyperion 11.1.1.2.0 Provider Services
  Oracle Hyperion Planning, Fusion Edition Release 11.1.1.2.0
  
  We have provisioned to all functions in Shared Services to the admin user and created the planning application with the Application Wizard sample < HyperionPlanning/AppWizard.jsp > classic and creat, refreshed the application of planning an application < HyperionPlanning / >.
  
  However in the menu workspace there is Any Administration of conventional planning?
  
  Can you please provide us with instructions to solve the problem?

  I guess that you have provided to the user with the roles of the Foundation/Shared Services: -.
  Creator of the application
  Dimension editor

  Also try to re-run the Setup program, choose the Hyperion Foundation > workspace > configure the web server

  You will need to create a new application group in Shared Services, it is simple to do - Create Application groups

  Once you have created the group, you should see it in the list of projects of Shared Services when you create a planning application.

  11.1.2.2 hyperion planning, I recently created a sample planning an application but I do not see the forms under it.
  
  The steps I did:
  I created the planning app example
  then connect to the workspace > navigate > plan app > Administration > Application > Referesh DB
  
  I can see the types of plan created on essbase server but I see not all forms under form folder in the application I created. I'm using Oracle 11 g DB.
  
  Can someone explain why?

  For IE, go to tools > compatibility view settings, uncheck the box "sites intranet view in compatibility view.

  Try refreshing planning once again the form verification

  No, you can't. Given the nature of these tools are quite different, it wouldn't make sense too since even if you could. However, you can create a planning application and assign most of the dimensions in the view of the planning application. Would be in this case having synchronized HFM and planning applications. Obviously you're going to build in all the other features (forms, business rules, task lists, etc.) again in the planning.

  You can try this
  -go to the library of dimension
  -create an empty application (file > new > application.) Planning type, check the white ap option)
  -Create the profile. (file-import-create brightness select the application in the previous step)
  -load the ads using the profile above

  I assume you mean essbase databases, they are all under a single application essbase by planning application is how the planning was designed, then Yes, they will share the same maximum for a single application to essbase.
  You could look through essbase 64 bit, this will give you the possibility to increase the memory available to the application process for essbase.

  I solved the error

  Solution:-j' used the double model i.e HFMData copy data, so what I thought was to use the original data model, IE HFMData.

  Generally, we use one duplicate, but here is not the way.

• Integration of DRM with Hyperion Planning Application

  We try to decide whether to include DRM in our solution or not, and I'm new to this module.

  My question is:

  1. If I use the classic Hyperion application, do I need an ODI to integrate metadata between Application Hyperion and the DRM?
  2. What happens if I am on application of EPMA, what a way to integrate metadata between DRM and enforcement?

  -It depends if you want to use ODI or not, planning utility gives OultineLoad, you must generate an export of DRM in the required format and load it to the planning application. But ODI can integrate other technologies, which can pop - in the future to come. Also better control the flow of data with debugging.

  You can integrate DRM with EPMA and allows to load the DRM metadata for library EPMA which will flow more in the planning.

• Unable to remove the application from planning 11.1.2.2

  I've removed the Hyperion of EPMA Application Library howerver Planning Application when I click on Navigate-> applications-planning of the workspace, I am still able to see the application of planning that I deleted applications EPMA library. How to completely remove the Planning Application.

  If you have restarted the service, and it is always the same then you will need to manually delete the app, have a read of planning 11.1.1.3 - manually remove a classic Application

  Or if you can still you connect to planning app, then you might try conversion classic back and then delete. To convert back to classic go to manage properties under Administration: EDIT_DIM_ENABLED = TRUE
  Restart the services, go to the planning administration and remove the app
