  I use the Hyperion 11.1.2.3 version and try to create the new application from planning through the workspace.  I am not able to see the 'Planning' group in the shared services project.

  You will need to create a new application group in Shared Services, it is simple to do - Create Application groups

  Once you have created the group, you should see it in the list of projects of Shared Services when you create a planning application.

  Another key... the planning version you're using will greatly affect your decision whether to use EPMA. I would not recommend EPMA with version 9, but I would recommend it for everything above 11.1.1.1.03.

• How to create applications Hyperion LDCS without installed workspace planning

  Question...
  Is there a way to create Hyperion Planning 9.3.1. PMA Applications without going through installed workspace?
  I know that if you use http:// < planningmachine >: 8300/HyperionPlanning/AppWizard.jsp after the planning is installed, you can, but I think that this approach follows the classic Application management approach.
  
  I hope someone can help I don't want to have to configure Reporting, Hyperion and analysis/Web analysis and work space.

  I have created new planning application in the 11.1.2.3 through the workspace and must create applications as similar to the existing QA environment.

  How can I get the properties of the request of the Group of AQ as Application type, Plan types, calendar, and currency?

  Use of LCM, QA export and then import and you can leave LCM create the application with the same properties, make sure that the application does not exist, and the data source has been created and is the same as in the files of LCM.

  In the export of LCM, there is a properties file, the "Application Definition.xpad" has all the properties of the planning application and the data source name.

• After you have created the sample application planning you see no form?

  Hi all
  11.1.2.2 hyperion planning, I recently created a sample planning an application but I do not see the forms under it.
  
  The steps I did:
  I created the planning app example
  then connect to the workspace > navigate > plan app > Administration > Application > Referesh DB
  
  I can see the types of plan created on essbase server but I see not all forms under form folder in the application I created. I'm using Oracle 11 g DB.
  
  Can someone explain why?

  For IE, go to tools > compatibility view settings, uncheck the box "sites intranet view in compatibility view.

  Try refreshing planning once again the form verification

  I just installed Hyperion Suite. When I tried to create a planning application, I am getting error below.

  I tried to deploy a planning application and got blocked at the stage of deployment (validation by fine Wen). During deployment, the work was abandoned giving the following error: failed to create Scehma for application. Out of creating applications.

  I have oracle 10g express installed on my system. I created a new data source for my planning application. I have configured the data source in the configuration utility. He set up without any error
  
  I have looged in application create application wizard and clicked on create application and it says no data source is available.
  
  I'm on 9.3.1
  
  Please let me know if I'm missing something?
  
  I already have an existing application into my planning system that works very well and I want to do another.

  You may be able to reconfigure the database section, select your original schema, when asked to choose réutiliser tables.
  If all goes well you should then be able to go to the section of the data source.

• Creating Applications in vCOPS a UI custom

  I'll have a go at creating applications and dashboards customized vCOPS a custom user interface.
  I just created an application and when I want to add VM for the layers I actually get a lot of instances of the virtual machine.

  Under the list, it shows the name of the virtual machine and type of resource and then 3 identifiers. Identifier of 1 and 3 are identical.
  2 identifier differs for each instance (e.g. vm-12345)
  My question is what entry choose and why is there so much for some VM, but not others?
  I'm not sure, but I wonder if it has something to do with being protected by SRM.

  Hi AllBlack, the response of the mlebied is correct - you will see multiple instances of the MV if the virtual machine has been protected by MRS or basically no reason to ensure that the VM to have a new ME.

  However, it is easy to choose the virtual machine that is the current 'live' VM by selecting the entity VM status > lit

  I am a user of Indesign, and I plan to take a course on the development of applications with InDesign.  My understanding is that, in order to use this work, we would have to buy a license to use with DPS.  How much is something like this cost?  Adobe buries this information I can say.  I'm looking for a rough idea on what it would invest create a quarterly magazine distributed as an application (we already have the Creative Suite that I currently have to design our magazine as a quarterly print piece).  I'd like to try the interactive features but do not know that I'm going to bother with the course if it is prohibitive create applications.

  I go through the MaxL shell.
  I'm learning simple as commands create application.
  I have a few questions about creating an application of MaxL.
  
  The syntax is:
  
  create or replace the application Application_Name type unicode/nonUniCode_Mode like CopyApplication_Name how 'xxxxx'.
  
  When we create a MaxL application, the application is created is what type? It is ASO or type OSB?
  
  or how would I know that if this is the type of ASO or OSB?
  
  If I need to create a particular type of application is ASO/BSO, how could I achieve this?

  You have a different syntax for the creation of ASO and BSO applications using MAXL, the stmt above you mentioned is to create an app BSO.

  To create an app of the ASO, you use

  create [or replace] APPNAME application use a comment aggregate_storage 'YOUR COMMENTS.';

  Our small business product guides in PDF format to be used on laptops, tablets and phones. We intend to pass to CC and to use InDesign to convert apps that we think will be much easier for customers to use our guides.

  But we always want to be available for those who use our guides on laptops.

  I know this is a newbie question, but is it possible in InDesign to create applications, similar to those used by iOS and Android devices, which could run on Windows 7 and 8 and the OS X portable computers?

  No, you can't. Given the nature of these tools are quite different, it wouldn't make sense too since even if you could. However, you can create a planning application and assign most of the dimensions in the view of the planning application. Would be in this case having synchronized HFM and planning applications. Obviously you're going to build in all the other features (forms, business rules, task lists, etc.) again in the planning.

• remove a user admin application planning

  I have a small question which perhaps you can answer easily.
  in workflow process when users, click on "change of status", to promote and approve the "admin" user enters with the drop-down list box.
  We share shared with another team of project services so I can't show my users "admin" in this list, cos I have "plnadmin" as the owner of the application.
  
  Incidentally, "admin" has been supply cancelled the planning of HSS applications such that it can not connect you to the planning application. (user doesnot exist for this message from the application).
  but there are still in the process drop-down lists workflow and "Administration-> Application Settings-> Assign application owner" combo box.
  
  How can I remove it?

  You have it connected with Oracle, I don't see how you can still see the admin user in the windows of change request owner, in theory if you restart the application planning server it should clearly read the cache and read direct tables, if as you say the user is certainly not in the windows it is something not good.
