Clean install Thunderbird on old computer

Recently, I moved to a new computer and try to clean install Thunderbird on the old computer to another user. I read in this forum to remove the data file that contains all of the old information. I did, but now Thunderbird opens. I get a message telling me that there is no personal data (or words to that effect) to associate with the program.

I tried to download Thunderbird again, but it will not always be open. I would appreciate help with this, because the person I give the old computer is more eager to start with email on this subject.

Thank you very much!

in the race/search on the start menu type
%AppData%\microsoft\windows\sendto and press enter
Find the Thunderbird folder in windows Explorer and delete it.

Then try to run Thunderbird.
