  Reformatting a hard drive should be considered a last resort to solve a problem with a computer system.   I just installed 24.6 and used the 'import' of Eudora. Everything seemed to move pretty well, but I can't understand the ' sent to '. I tried in "manage identities", does not. The problem is you answer a list of mail and thunderbird wants to insert my dominant addy instead of the address who sent the original e-mail. It is a problem when the identity must be subscribed/registered.

  You have a hard drive partition to do - but you would need to contact/see the FAQ from the hardware manufacturer (HP, Dell, Gateway, Lenovo, etc) to see if and how.

  Otherwise - you might have to order (pay for possibly) the factory restore/recovery of the value of the manufacturer.

  Hi Andy - I just test this with a parent-child file against the size of the Sample.Basic market in 11.1.2.3.505, and it worked for me it is empty. Structure of the file is: Parent child UDA

  In the properties to build a global profile, I selected the market then checked "Allow changes to property" and "allow modifications of UDA.

  In properties to build the size of the field of the UDA, I put the dimension of 'Market', domain type UDA, and I also checked 'Delete when the field is empty' (it's all the way down the list of field properties, under 'Ignore the field for Dimension Build').

  Since you mention it, I wonder if you missed this last step?

  It's extremely embarrassing cut and paste emails.  You can even cut and paste from a document previously sent emails.

  If you want to reuse the object and content of the message that you used when you sent the file, you can use the advanced feature.

  In the list of sent files, just select the file (or a group of files) that you want to send again, then click on transfer.

  

  On the next screen, subject and Message fields will be pre-filled with the original values.   Does that help?

  Here my problem, some of the sets values are sql based and are designed to obtain information on the applicant. then I use a lot fnd_profile.value ('user_id').
  For example,.
  Select email_address from fnd_user where user_id = fnd_profile.value('user_id')
  
  But when the sit is sent for approval, any field, the use of these custom value sets are missing. the only fields that are displayed are those not not with value sets with user_id profile as part of the query.
  My question is, is there a better way to retrieve information about the employees and thus be able to avoid this error?

  Hi innocent,

  for the specific e-mail address case, maybe you can remove the valueset validation, set a default value based on the query and convert the field read-only, although I recall some faulty difficulties read only FDF.

  Database is 10gr 2 - had a situation last night where someone changed inadvertently values of column on a couple of hundred thousand records with an incorrect value first thing in the morning and never let me know later in the day. My undo retention was not large enough to create a copy of the table as it was 7 hours comes back with a "insert in table_2 select * from table_1 to timestamp...» "query, so I restored the backup previous nights to another machine and it picked up at 07:00 (just before the hour, he made the change), created a dblink since the production database and created a copy of the table of the restored database.
  
  My first thought was to simply update the table of production with the correct values of the correct copy, using something like this:

  ORA-00904: "B". "" WORKORDERSOI ": invalid identifier
  
  First of all, I don't see why the update statement does not work (it's probably obvious, but I'm not)
  
  Secondly, it is the best approach for updating a column (or columns) that are incorrect, with the columns in the same table which are correct, or is there a better way?
  
  I would sooner update the table rather than delete or truncate then re insert, as it was a trigger for insert/update I had to disable it on the notice re and truncate the table unusable a demand so I was re insert.

  First of all, after post 79, you need to know how to format your code.

  Your last request reads as follows:

  This will not work for several reasons:
  The sub query allows you to define a and b and outside the breakets you can't refer to a or b.
  There is no link between the mnt.workorders_copy and the the update and the request of void.

  If you do this you should have something like this:

  Speed is not so good that you run the query to sub for each row in mnt.workorders
  Note it is condition in where. You need other wise, you will update the unchanged to null values.

  I wouold do it like this:

        A.workordersoi
        ,A.comappstat
        ,B.comappstat           comappstat_OLD
  
      FROM
        mnt.workorders        A      -- THIS IS THE TABLE YOU WANT TO UPDATE

  This way you can test the subquery first and know exectly what will be updated.

  Yes, you will need to find a way to set the value before the creation of the part of the view. Generally, there are two ways. There are at least two ways, I tend to use:

  (1) loading deferred; you would get a Get accessor like this method:

  public String getValue(){
    if(value == null){
      // code here to get value from wherever
    }
  
    return value;
  }
  

  (2) initialize properties in a method annotated with @PostConstruct in your backing bean

  @PostConstruct
  public void initialize(){
    value = whatever;
  }

  I have a simple text field in a form tag.

  Basically, the initial value informs the user that the field is for.

  For example: password.

  The problem is, lets suppose the user typed a user name [B] [/ b] in the field, but I forgot to add a character and decides to add this character, the value, they entered previously is deleted. This can be frustrating. But I only use it for two fields not an entire form.

  Is there a way to make the initial value to delete on the first click in the text field, but then whatever the user entered rest until the form is sent or the browser is refreshed or clear?
