Cleaning the computer with compressed air

Hello

When I use compressed air to clean the inside of my computer, the air seems to be liquid and very cold.

This "liquid air" will not harm the computer components?

Thanks in advance,

S.J. Westra

Hello:

That's what a workshop vacuum...

You would use it in a garage or for heavy cleaning.

    Hello

    (1) are you facing problems with your computer?
    (2) when exactly the error message is invited?
I recommend you perform the clean boot.
How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135
Note: After a repair, be sure to set the computer to start as usual as mentioned in step 7 in the above article.
You can also run the Microsoft Safety Scanner to make sure that your computer is virus-free.
Note: The data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means that there is a risk of data loss.
    I hope this helps!
  • When the Admin sign on the office comes to the top, but after that the computer does not respond when the user tries to do anything. There are actually turns off the computer with the power button.

    Original title: user profile

My administrator user profile does not work properly, but I have a user profile that has activated the parental control that worked well for about a year and yesterday when this user logs on the desktop comes up, but after that the computer does not respond when that user tries to do anything. There are actually turns off the computer with the power button.  I ran a virus scan and spyware scan in my user admin profile and he has not found anything.  I don't know what to check.

    Hello rhunter15,

There may be a program to interfere with Parental controls so that we can try a few things to see if we can determine the application or program that is causing problems.

First of all, we run System File Checker to see if you have a corrupt file system.

    • Click Start
    • Click on all programs
    • Click Accessories, and then right-click on the command prompt.
    • Select the Security tab and choose "Run as Administrator"
    • Click on command prompt
    • Type SFC/scannow.

It will scan and repair any damaged operating system files.

To determine if there is a program because of a conflict, we recommend that you perform a "clean boot" of the computer. A clean boot is designed to disable programs and services in the background as much as possible. This helps determine which service or program can be the cause of the problem.  For more information about how to perform a clean boot for troubleshooting, click the number below to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base.

KB 929135 - how to solve a problem of performaing a clean boot in Windows Vista.
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

Once you have finished the clean boot, check again and see if you get the error of parental control.

If please post again and let us know if that helped pinpoint the problem or if you still need help.

  • To use the computer with the different Flight Simulator equipment that is only compatible with 32-bit versions of Windows

Original title: change the version of Windows

I have a computer used only for Flight Simulator and is running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.  I want to use the computer with the different Flight Simulator equipment that is only compatible with 32-bit versions of Windows.  Is there a way I can upgrade to Windows 7 64 bit for Windows 10 32 bit and enjoy free upgrade of Windows 10?

No, the upgrade program will replace existing windows with the same number of bits, 32 to 32 and 64 to 64.

Even within the same version of Windows, passing from 32 to 64 and vice versa requires a clean installation.

I'm sorry, but you will need a Windows 9 x / ME drive to provide during the XP installation from the XP disc is a version upgrade. There is no way around that. See if you can find a friend with an older operating system disk (not a recovery disk) to support qualification. Otherwise, you would need to buy the full version (not upgrade) of XP to install on the computer. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

  • Clean the computer and now there is a missing file...

We had a computer with no space on the disk, so we uninstalled programs

(the right way: with the control panel of Windows itself).

Now, whenever we start the computer, an error message is displayed:

"There is a problem when starting C:\PROGRA~2\B5A8FEF3.cpp

    Cannot find the module. »

Is it possible to find which program generates this error message?

We have uninstalled all applications are:

    SketchUp 7 & 8

    Google earth

    Last vestige

    Ravensword

    Zapper

    Pando media booster

    Silverlight

    Codec K-light Pack

But none of them has been started with the computer. (except perhaps Pando).

Our thinking is that an uninstall program did remove a file that is used by another program.

So is it possible to track down the program that generates this message?

    Thanks for the suggestions.

However, after some time, we found it.

As we cleaned this computer, we have been a Troyan horse. Our Virus Scanner that delete, but remained a startup item in the start/start menu. And because the Virus has been removed, this link couldn't find that program and produces this error each time the computer starts.

Remove the link in start start solved :)

  • I have synced my phone on my desk before wiping the desktop drive, now wish to import bookmarks in sync on the desktop. I tried to 'replace all data on the computer with my Sync data', but nothing happens. Please guide me through it.

All bookmarks are still on my mobile. I can see and access. When using the synchronization options, then clicking on the fact, absolutely nothing happens. The bookmarks are always on my mobile and not transferred to office.

    Hello!

I am trying to understand the workflow in detail. Let me explain quickly what is the right process:

    1. Sync your phone to your desktop (you already did that)
    2. Clean your computer (you already did that)
    3. Follow these steps in the newly installed Firefox https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/How%20to%20sync%20Firefox%20settings%20between%20computers?s=sync & r = 3 & as=s#w_what-if-im-not-near-my-first-computer

That of all, make sure you have the key to Firefox Sync in order to access your Firefox Sync account again. Do not create a new or if not you will remove the data from the server. If you have lost your key synchronization, you can get it from your phone by installing the add-on on your Android device: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/mobile/addon/aboutsynckey/

    I hope this helps you.
