Hi Syed Hassan,

1. What is the full error message that you receive?

2 did you recent hardware or changes to the software of the system?

CLI.exe files are used for the ATI catalyst driver programs, that work with the ATI graphics card.

Method 1:

If you have installed the ATI graphics card on your system, then try to update the latest version of the drivers for video card and check if the problem persists.

AMD support & drivers

How to manage devices in Windows XP

Method 2:

If you still experience the problem, you can try to perform a clean boot and check.

A clean boot to check if startup item or services to third-party application is causing this issue.

You can read the following article to complete the clean boot.

How to configure Windows XP to start in a "clean boot" State

Note: After troubleshooting, be sure to set the computer to start as usual as mentioned in the article above to configure Windows to use a Normal startup state.

  • On startup, I get the following error: spoolsv.exe - Application error

On startup, I get the following error:
    Spoolsv.exe - Application error
The instruction at "0 x 10002837" referenced memory at "0x00000000".  The memory could not be "written".

Then the print subsystem stops.  Windows update service keeps control and verification.  I let go 20 hours and it is never resolved.  I can't open some applications requiring printers.  Help please.

    Bill

    Hello DragonBill,

Thank you for visiting the website of Microsoft Windows Vista Community.

Regarding your question, the most common cause of the error is an abundance of. SHD and. Files in the directory of spool SPL.  These files are created by the spooler to save data delayed a print job.  The. SPL file contains the drawing commands and the. SHD file contains information of working parameters the print job.

To try to correct the application spoolsv.exe error, you must remove these files from the system.  To do this, perform the following steps on your Windows Vista computer:

    1. open the Control Panel, select Classic view, select Administrative Tools and then select Services .

    2. in the Services management console, find the Spooler service, right-click on it and select stop.

    3. then open the folder C:\Windows\System32\Spool\Printers .  (Here, we assume that your Windows is installed in the default C:\Windows folder)

    4. delete all the . SHD and SPL files in this folder.

    5. then open the TMP folder and delete all the old, unused files in this folder.

    6. Finally, restart the spooler from the Services management console service.

Important note: If you are unable to delete the files in Normal Mode, then you may have to restart your computer in Mode safe to delete files.  To start your PC in safe mode, press F8 when the system restarts, and then select the Mode option safe mode from the Windows Advanced Options Menu.

If deleting the files do not straighten out the problem, you must perform a system restore and restore your system to the times before when the error started appearing on your computer.  A.m. run the restoration of the system, open Start, all programs, Accessories, System Tools , and then select the System restore option.  On the Welcome to system restore screen, select the restore my computer to a time option earlier and select Next.  In the Select Restore Point screen, select the date that represents the restore point to which you want to restore your computer back, and then select Next.  Finally, check and then click Next again to confirm your restore point and restore of the system.  Restart your computer when you are prompted, and then press OK to close the end of System Restore screen.

It is important that you know that application errors can also occur because of virus or spyware infections.  In fact, the Spoolsv.exe process is also a known backdoor vulnerability which can be planted on your computer for malicious purposes by an attacker.  Therefore, if you see an unknown process running on your system, you must take appropriate measures to remove them.

Let us know if these steps solve your problem.  I hope the information is useful.

    Kind regards

  • HP Envy 7 ": HP laptop"logonui.exe application error"+ auto repair restarts without end

I really don't know exactly what is the name of my product, however, my problem is very specific:

First I got an error message titled something in the sense of "logonui.exe application error" with a background black, I couldn't start my laptop up so I went to recovery and just all backed up successfully and went to reformat but it got stuck at 2% until he finally said the Recovery Manager has stopped working , I tried just about everything until finally my laptop just say 'auto repair start' goes to a blue screen, restarts and repeats again and again. I can't really do anything, it seems pretty well doomed. It seems like a virus, but really, I don't know what I can do, if the only solution is to send in for repair, can I try now?

    Kind regards

    Josh

I get the "HP Recovery Manager failed. Error code = 0xEFFFFF08"pop up whenever I try to get back and I'm not using any USB devices.

I ran a scan of the hard disk on UEFI and my results have been:

    Smart Check: spent

    DST short: failure

    Failure ID: QCQ7PH-7RK701-XD7WMF-60VL03

    Product ID: N1L03EA #ABV

    Hey!

"The 'LogonUI' in Windows application manages your startup and shutdown graphical user interface (GUI) that displays the Windows on your screen logo and the status of your judgment." It also displays the login screen that you see when you start the PC. Corruption in this application could lead to problems start and stop, such as gel. »

I found this paragraph from a titled link: LogonUI.Exe Application error after update 8.1 of Windows that can help you! There are a few in there troubleshooting steps that may help.

Here is a Microsoft document for you to read as well. This is called: error: LogonUI.exe application error.

I understand what you are saying about this marking as resolved. Tell you what, read the links I provided on the error in the application (which, from what I've read, in my opinion, does not sound like a virus), replace the hard drive and then if the issues are resolved for you, come back and mark this question as an acceptable Solution for others.

    I wish you the best!

    Hello

    1. do you receive this after you see Start button or entry?

2 have you made any changes to the computer before the show?

Method 1: Boot errors are fixed by the clean boot.

Perform the clean boot and see if that helps.

A clean boot to check if startup item or services to third-party application is causing this issue.

Reference: How to solve a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or Windows 7:

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

Note: when you're done to diagnose, follow step 7 in the article to start on normal startup.

Method 2: Some malware parody itself as InfoCenter.exe, especially when it is located in the folder c:\windows or c:\windows\system32.

I suggest you make a system full scan just to be sure.

Here is a link that will give you information on how to perform a full scan of the system:

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

, Note 1: The Microsoft Safety Scanner ends 10 days after being downloaded. To restart a scan with the latest definitions of anti-malware, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again.

Note 2: The data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means that there is a risk of data loss.

  • Svchost.exe - application error... help

I receive the following error message at startup, when I connect.  If I complete the program my computer going to be inadmissible.

Svchost.exe - application error.  The exception of integer division by zero. (0 x 0000094) occurred in the application at location 0x001a3fe2.

Click OK to finish the program

Click on Cancel to debug the program

Nothing comes up on my anti-virus.  Any help would be appreciated.

Hello Scott, I did some research on this and found this site, don't know if they fixed the problem is related to your but you can see if the process will help. I found this on PC * Web site:

    http://www.pchell.com/support/svchosterror.shtml

I'll do some looking and see what I can find.

It is permanently associated with a start-up program, I would like to go in safe mode after you start in Windows, go to start then run and type msconfig. Once in the config window go to the Startup tab and uncheck all the boxes that are not essential to the system. You do not uncheck anti-virus or your spyware / malware removal software. If the system starts fine then go back to msconfig and start checking one box at a time until you get the error again. The last program box checked is the culprit and should be removed and put back in place.

    Hope this helps, Jim

    How can I fix it?

    Hi Mel9543,

    ·         When you get this error message?

Werfault.exe is used to Windows error reporting. This is a feature that allows Microsoft to track and address errors related to Windows features, the operating system and applications. It offers you the opportunity to send data about errors to Microsoft and to receive information on the solutions.

You can access here Windows error reporting settings: Control Panel > system and Maintenance > Problem Reports and Solutions > change settings > advanced settings

Try to disable it temporarily and see if this will fix the problem.

As a temporary solution you can disable the error reporting service: Press Win + R, type services.msc find Windows Error Reporting service in the services list, make a right click on it-> click Properties-> open list "Startup type" and select "Disabled"--> press OK.

Then check and see if you still get the error werfault.exe on opening the programs.

Since you have just installed Windows 7, please check you have all your device drivers updated to a version of Windows 7. If you can't do it in normal mode, then go to safe mode and check device manager.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones RoxWatchTray9.exe - Application error

I managed to install (after some tent and using these maps) the Desktop Manager and VZAccess Manager on my laptop for my Storm. However, whenever I turn on my computer, I get the following error:

    RoxWatchTray9.exe - Application error

The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000006). Click OK to close the application.

I click OK and everything seems to work fine (at least what I use), but this error continues to show. There is no option to "do not show this error" so I get it. Is this something I should be concerned? Is there a way to make it stop coming on my system?

RoxWatchTray is a module of Roxio.

From my point of view the best way is BB Desktop Software Uninstall and install it again without Roxio.

If you do not want this try to find a Boot Manager utility (you can google those words) and manage applications that run at startup.

    And remove RoxWatchTray.

If you have technical knowledge, you can do it manually without start utility. Run regedit, find and and delete RoxWatchTray9.exe registry entries: http://www.doshelp.com/HowToView/Registry_Keys.htm

If so you can try to uninstall it, restart, and then reinstall the program.

The problem is definitely with this driver because what is the accelerometer is to have the program 3D driveguard Park the heads of the hard drive in case of bumping or dropping the laptop low rise.
