    Try this:

  • When you try to download Firefox. I click on Run and a box pops up and says 0% and then extracting more nothing... no download no other pop ups

I tried to download Firefox several times. I have windows 8. When I click Start the download and the box downstairs comes up and asks if I want to run, save or cancel. I click on run. The next area that appears is a time bar as pop-up that says 0% extracting... never none goes further. This area stays on the screen for a few seconds then nothing. There are no more pop, Firefox is not the cases that are on the computer. Any ideas on a step I have to take for it to download completely.

Make sure you use the official mozilla site (or http://www.getfirefox.com/) by your download.

You may temporarily need to turn security software before install Firefox.

    See the installation instructions:

You can try first to use the option to save the Setup program file that you download instead of run. Try to run it once it is downloaded to your computer, but make sure that the computer is connected to the internet.

  • I switched to Firefox 3 days. When I did, he asked if I want to 'save' or 'run '. I clicked on "Save". Was I suppose to click on 'run '.

I followed the instructions to the latest update of Firefox and the image said to click on "Run", but the only option I have is to 'save '. Do I delete Firefox and download again and click on 'run '.

If you think that the program did not update properly or not act properly.
You can always go to Mozilla.org and download the full installer. After you download your program, then you can run it yourself. I always save the
program so that I don't have to download it again if I need it.

  • How can I correct the failure of the Click-to-run configuration?

I have a laptop HP Pavilion g4. Today, I tried to open Microsoft Office Word Starter and got a "Click-2-Run configuration failed" error message and it wouldn't let me enter Microsoft Office Word Starter. I tried it with Excel starter and got the same result. I tried to restore to previous versions, and it still doesn't work. Before this started, I uninstalled some programs that have been recently installed. I need Microsoft Office Word Starter for school so I hope it helps someone find a solution to the problem. Thank you.

I have a HP G72 which was preloaded with MS Ofiice 2010 Click-to-Run in the virtual drive; Q.: How delete/delete both?

Using programs and features in Control Panel to uninstall the Microsoft Office 2010 software, also to uninstall "Microsoft Application Virtualization Desktop Client", it must remove the drive from Q.

Restart the PC when done to remove them.

  • cannot open programs by right click and run as administrator

had a virus earlier today, I think it was the security of windows one... anyway I got rid of it with malwarebytes and restarted my computer. now, for some reason, I can't run programs without going through a right-click and run as an administrator.
When I try to run normally (left-click) I get this window "open with."
I'm not very good with technical terms, but I tried several fixes that have failed

When I right click, open properties, then open the tab compatibility... "run this program as Administrator" button is grayed out so I can't do anything with that.

turning UAC enabled or disabled dosent seem to do anything.

Some programs are completely inaccessible, (like microsoft word)

I also watched regedit but as didemt not a lot of sense to me at all. If anyone could break how to fix this step by step before reinstalling the DVD (which I did not), you will be my best friend

EDIT: I followed this link of early wich looked like the same, but the link of download in the best masculine seems to not work

How can I run 64-bit dxdiag?  I tried opening dxdiag & clicking on the 'Run 64-bit DxDiag' button on the bottom, but it doesn't close the window.  What I am doing wrong?

    Hello

    Method 1.
When you click on run 64-bit DxDiag it minimizes the window. But it performs the test and you can click next page to view the errors.
If the page closes directly can be a third-party application is causing the conflict. Let us check if the problem exists in the boot. See the article below for instructions on how to start your computer in a clean boot state.

  • I can't uninstall Click-to-Run 2010... I tried following all the instructions. Someone had this problem? Help

I bought this mobile last summer.  It came with Microsoft Office Starter.  I used it for about 9 months. and then I could not open all the files.  I've tried everything, and most say uninstall Microsoft Click-to-Run, but it won't.  I can't go to my files.  So, I bought Microsoft Office 2010 and it does not open.  It says click to run failed or Microsoft can not open the program.  Help, someone, please.

Looks like you may have a virus or other malware. Get your updated antivirus program and start safe mode.  Note that some viruses can hide from your normal antivirus program, so you really need to scan mode without failure.  To enter in Safe Mode when you turn on first, press F8 on every seconds until you get the menu, and then select Safe Mode.  Then run a complete system scan.

If that suits him fine. If this is not the case, use system restore to go back to an earlier date at the beginning of the problem.  To run system restore, click Start-> programs-> Accessories-> System Tools-> system restore.  Click on the box that says show more restore points.
    -
You can check the corrupted system files.  Open an administrator command prompt and run SFC if the above does not help. Click START, and then type CMD in the search box, right-click on CMD. EXE, then click on run as administrator. Then from the command prompt, type sfc/scannow.
    -
Finally if all else fails, you can look at the rather cryptic system event log.  To make, click Start-> Control Panel-> administration-> event viewer tools.  Once in Event Viewer system log-click and scroll entries looking for these "error" with indicator see if you can find guidance on where the problem may be.
    `
When you get your system in good working condition, I invite you to back up your system up to an external hard drive and it puts regular periodic updates.

I hope this helps.  Good luck.
