Satellite Pro A100 (PSAAC) - freezing for a second unknown device

Hello

I have recently reinstalled Windows on my computer, after installation, is a problem. With an interval of 10-15, my computer hangs at about a second - the computer reacts to the entry, and if a sound is played he repeats again and again.

I don't know if it has something to do with it, but when I start the computer I get the error message "cannot read the Manager!" I noticed that I have a unknown device in my device manager, location: location 65535 (internal Bus High Definition Audio). I can't find the driver.

I don't know if the problems are related, I just want the freezing part to fix.

Best wishes
Hans

    Hello

Can I ask you this and audio CD don t work? These are original audio CD or burn one?
You should know that many new audio s CDs come with copy protections of different and sometimes it happens that these CD s are not readable.

But we must first know if need all options are enable. To do this you must enter the properties of the drive and check if the option enable digital CD audio for this CD-ROM device has been activated successfully.

  • How to change the module RAM in Satellite Pro A100 (PSAACE)?

    Hey,.

I just bought a RAM module to fit in my currently empty home of RAM, but I never installed any portable computer memort before that. I checked a few guides, but none seem to show the kind of clips that have the Pro A100.

Could someone help me please by pointing me in the direction of a specific guide or taking their time to explain the process.

    Thank you in advance.
    Jason

On the side at the bottom in the middle is placed the memory cover. Remove it and you'll see two memory slots there. I assume that your device comes with the memory module and new you must put in the empty socket and just press it. Two metal brackets will fix it in the right position.

That's all you need to do. By the way: before you start doing anything, I recommend you disconnect AC power and also to remove battery.

  • Satellite Pro U400 display off for a second

You wrote that Windows shows you an error on a driver problem.
Have you looked in to the yellow marks Device Manager?

I think that you have installed a wrong driver or something else. To be honest, I think that it is a driver problem.

  • Satellite Pro L670 - 18F PSK3FE Webcam works become "unknown device".

The * webcam * on my * Satellite Pro L670 - 18F PSK3FE * who is running * Windows 7 64 - Bit * a well worked until this week. My notifications bar started to say * "unknown USB device" * and when when I went to use the webcam it no longer worked.

When I disabled the webcam in the BIOS the notification has stopped, but when I turned it on the notification came back again to the top. The unknown device is clearly the webcam.

I updated my BIOS and tried the system restore.

I also downloaded the driver for the webcam of http://uk.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/download_drivers_bios.jsp?service=UK and have tried running that - + but it NEVER seems to complete the installation. + I have will continue to try to reload the driver and see if that helps, but from now on, I do not think that the pilot will help.

If it is just a driver problem, someone could suggest how to get the driver to install really :-(

I am now at a loss. I'm not sure what to do now. Suggestions?... + Please! +

    Hello

Unknown device means that the driver is not installed.
I think that the installation of the webcam driver should fix it.

As face recognition also use the webcam, I recommend you to uninstall this tool as well as the older version of the software of the webcam.
Both (or just face recognition) should appear in Control Panel-> software

Now download both applications to the driver page.
Start with the installation of the webcam driver:
    (1) unpack the webcam driver package

    (2) the TC30049700N.exe may also be decompressed (right click-> extract here)

    (3) now you should see different files exe, dll, and others attempt to run setup.exe to start the installation. If this does not work, go to Device Manager, mark (webcam) unknown USB device and install the driver pointing to the folder that contains the files of webcam driver. The system should automatically recover dll files.

    (4) restart the laptop and follow with face recognition software.

    Good luck

    Hi Minnikon,

And why the page display driver Toshiba doesn't? You get an error message or something else? What happens exactly?

In General, the chipset driver must be installed everything first. Then, you can install the Toshiba page display driver.

  • Satellite Pro A100 (PSAACE) - do not display

    Hi all

You have a problem that has confused me.

A few weeks ago my very old a100 Sat Pro (PSAACE) began to refuse to display anything on the screen.

It comes to boot, that is, I press the power button on the cold, the system of vortices and fan will both nothing appears on the screen.

I left the cell only and noticed she appeared on my network, so I have remote desktop connected to and everything worked, but still no display on the laptop actually.

Thinking that perhaps it would be a weird configuration that I started by pressing Fn + F5 to switch between views, at this point, I managed to get a display on the laptop screen.

But at the next startup, it does the same thing, that lasted a few days with me by pressing Fn + F5 to get a display.

Then the Fn + F5 has stopped working, I was still able to remote desktop and use the laptop but I couldn't get anything to display.

In windows, the ATI Mobility 1400 had disappeared from the Device Manager.

I thought that the controller VGA card had blown to order it a new.

I mounted this now, and it has not solved the problem. The Fn + F5, workaround works sometimes, but give a very weird-like display corrupt fonts etc.

    * However if I do a screenshot it and the screen on another PC and fonts appear normal. *

The 1400 mobility is now recognized by Windows, but still nothing on the screen at during the POST, boot, or Windows.

Fearing corruption BIOS I re flashed with the official BIOS 6.00.

All in all the machine works fine, just no display or by pressing Fn + F5 I can sometimes get the corrupted + with screen.

Finally, I hung on an external monitor, at no time do get any screen top regardless of the Fn + F5 or windows, POST etc...

Any thoughts? A defective cable of LCD/FL would cause this type of problem? or even a faulty inverter Board? or because I don't have any external display I'm looking for a failure of the main card?

Happy to make all new test someone can think...

Thanks in advanced for the help

    Richard

    > Any ideas? A defective cable of LCD/FL would cause this type of problem? or even a faulty inverter Board? or since > I have no external display I am looking at a motherboard failure?

I understand you; you don t get anything on an external monitor?
Hmm, in my opinion it FL s inverter not given that the FL inverter controlled only a screen backlight
So even if the FL inverter would be defective, you'd see something on the external monitor, but very weakly.

Cable LCD/FL problem? Perhaps, but if the cable is defective you wouldn't see anything, even using Fn + F5 key combination.
So finally, it could be a motherboard problem. But just a guess

  • Get Bluesceen on Satellite Pro A100 (PSAACE)

    Hi all

I have big problems with my laptop. He started 2 months when I finally had free wireless internet. On using it, I kept getting the BSOD and thought it was a problem with my RAM. After some trial and error results achieved, it wasn't my ram still getting BSOD. I disabled wireless and used for some time, then again BSOD and startup problems. I thought that maybe a virus, so I ended up formatting my drive (as he needed anyway), but still get BSOD with error code:

DRIVER IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL

    0x000000D1 (0x0000c79B, 0 x 0, 00000002 00000000, 0xF70CA16E)

I checked on the net but no resolution. I'm about to re - install all drivers, but I think it is definitely a hardware problem because I noticed when I move around it fails always start the first time. I am running XP PRO and Bitdefender Total Security 2008. I have 2x512mb ram what do not the same but both the same specification. Any ideas anyone?

    Hi friend

I agree, it is definitely a hardware problem. I had a Satellite A100 (PSAAE) and the BSOD appeared too. After sending the machine to a repair center and 1 week of waiting, the error never appeared again.

Is the machine still in warranty? If so, then send it immediately to an ASP, otherwise, I'm selling the machine and buy a new one.

    Welcome them

  • Satellite Pro A100 - PSAACE: Installation of BT is Frost

PROBLEM WITH BLUETOOTH! When I had XP everything was OK, but one day, this icon on the system tray began to be red (disable Bluetooth) I tried to turn on using FN + F8 but it doesn't help.
I tried to reinstall the application "Bluetooth Stack" but each time the application starts correctly then freezes after the first screen. I decided to change the system for Windows Vista Business, but when I try to install BT Stock on the sill fresh system freezes.
I installed battery BT using the silent method (unzip the files when it performs file that can do this). But the Bluetooth is still don't DO NOT WORK! It shows Bluetooth when click FN + F8 but nothing happens.

That is really important in what order I install the drivers? Where can I find order. I tried to find it-without results.

Is a "Bluetooth ACPI" device in the Device Manager still available?

  • Satellite Pro A100 (PSAAC) with WIN XP - shutdown problem

I have problems with my laptop stops not when I ask to do. The message that TSrsTRAYWND isn't closing arrives and I'm invited to manual closing. Even if I do this, the machine "blockages" and does not shut down. I tried the boot without failure and closure then - it does correctly, but then when I start normally and try to stop, it is up to the "hanging" again. The operating system and other programs are fully up-to-date.

Can anyone suggest one solution, from other online for one, I see that others have the same problem, without a solution yet.

In anticipation of your help, thank you!

PS - I can't find any reference to the TSrsTRAYWND anywhere.

    Hello

I tried on my laptop for a TSrsTRAYWND.exe file but I could t find anything. If you search for this file on the HARD drive you get a result?

I think it has something to with the drivers/software that will be loaded on Windows start. You should try to disable all programs in msconfig-start up that you don't need online. Then try again.

Sorry, but everything that s what I can say at the moment.

  • Satellite Pro A100 driver Modem for Win XP (PSAAPE)

I recently rebuilt an A100 (PSAAPE) with Windows XP (SP2) and after downloading all the drivers from the Toshiba site downloads, I installed everything goes well apart from the internal modem.

When I run the Setup it seems to install OK but when I check the Device Manager there is always a PCI device that should install and this is certainly the modem as there is not currently installed modems. Can someone let me know how I can install the modem in this notebook I've tried everything I can think off.

    Thank you

    Martin.

    Hello

    Do it! It's important!

On the Toshiba driver page, you will find the installation instructions.

    Hello

    What graphics driver you used?
One from the ATI Web site or the graphics driver for the Toshiba page?

You must use the graphics driver on the page because Toshiba that these drivers are designed and specially modified for Toshiba laptops!

I tried to use the graphics drivers for example, nVidia page, and I was not able to install it automatically.
I find on this forum that the graphics drivers from Toshiba are slightly changed to prevent overheating of the graphics card.

Due to a high performance graphic map of the temperature increases and can damage some parts inside the laptop.
The graphics driver prevents the increase in temperature and slows down the performance of the graphics card. If temperature decreases the performance increases.
