  Hi, everyone I'm just curious to know that I checked for almost a year now and it is not news about the cliq 2 get an update, why is this? In addition, the cliq 2 will have a chance to get ICS 4.0 (Ice Cream sandwich)?

  While it is not currently on the site upgrade news I think it will be added with this news as soon as it is available for all.

  I've unlocked my Cliq (supplied with Tmobile unlock code) for travel in the Philippines

  Here's what works here in the philippines so far

  Phone calls work fine (SMART Communications)

  Browser - WiFi via my DSL is good here in the Philippines (PLDT)

  Facebook updates in MotoBlur

  GPS/Google maps

  What does not work

  Yahoo via Motoblur (authentication failure)

  Google through Motorblur (authentication failure)

  If I use the browser on the cliq, I can connect on Yahoo and Google to get my emails so I know my credentials are very good

  Also, I should mention that I have not access to data with Smart Communications Yes yet, but as I said earlier, I have access to the data via the Wifi connection.

  Please tell me if my yahoo and google are able to work in this configuration. Thank you!

  Looks like you missed my suggestion in my previous post. Forums may not be frustrating. I have people miss sense I have provide them all the time because they fly over indications that I provide rather than read them Word for Word.

  Try to set up the two phones using POP3 under Menu > accounts > add account > Email rather than the option of Google/Yahoo.

• Cliq 2 1.1.30 updated

  I have a lot of difficulties since I decided to try this update that was sent to my phone and would prevent not arise even if I hit No.. Anyway... I talked to customer service 2 x. They did a factory reset the phone and he has still the 1.1.30 updated and not go back to how it was before. My phone was giving me nothing else issues since the update. Photos are not send videos, freezes constantly and drains my battery to where I have to use 2 batteries per day instead of one. Is anyone else having this problem? I talked to Motorola and they said that if I send for repair that I won't return it for 5 to 7 days. If the reset does not work what to do.

• CLIQ: Motoblur: unable to delete accounts of events or check the updates on phone

  I just went through a password reset with my Motoblur account online. Now when I try to check the updates system I get the message "the attempt to upgrade has encountered an error because of the failure, connect". I am also unable to delete accounts of Happenings so that I can configure them again to reactivate the Happenings. It seems impossible to get the password for my Motoblur account on the phone.

  Hello, I've had my phone for over a year and I've never had this problem. My calendar has always worked well until the last few days. I have a few google calendars which are synchronized to my phone, but I noticed this week that only some of the events are displayed on my Cliq XT. Can someone help me please understand how to display ALL my events? It's as if only a few events of each of my calendars are showing (a schedule is no longer watch anything).

  It's been a while since I had 1.5 as well. To research how to delete a google account on 1.5

  Meanwhile, a surefire way to break the bond of account would be to change the password of your google account on your computer. After you do this, restart the phone and it should complain. You can always change the password immediately.

  UPDATE: try to delete the application data for the following applications:

  Google Apps

  Google Mail

  Google mail storage

  Then try to remove the account in settings > accounts.

• Cliq xt on att with motoblur?

  I open my cliqxt on tmobiles network. I'll use it on the network at & t. my question is all the stuff of motoblur will still work when I change the sim card and make the transfer to at & t?

  The handset it locked to the TMO network. Once you switch on the phone with ATT Sim Card, it will ask you for the code. If you mess it up for 3 times, then you will have completely brick the phone and make it unusable. In the last update, the number of attempts has been increased.

  You will need the subsidy lock for your phone for TMO. If they can give it, then you can unlock the phone and also use it on ATT network.

  Beware of this – your phone will be camping in 3G because of the difference in bands for ATT and TMO. This means that you will always be on the edge and can not camp on the 3G using an ATT Sim Card in a Cliq XT.

  Add to my list of questions. My Cliq XT does not scrobble to Last.Fm, even though I have scrobbling enabled in the Last.Fm application. The connected player seems to not be as connected as I thought it was. I'm really starting to regret an upgrade to lose on this device

  Hmm... I'm sorry. I don't know how to help you on this one. It's something you need to bring to the attention of the Last.FM developers. This isn't a pre-installed application from Motorola. I disagree with you when you say ' My Cliq XT does not scrobble... ». You should correct that Last.FM app from the marketplace is not 'Scrobbling' on my Cliq XT.

  I can't really understand your expectations here. What is last update Motorola 1.31.44 has to do with the Last.FM app? If you see comments for this app on the market square, you will see a lot of people complain about this app doesn't work is not on many android devices.

  I'll try and install this application and see what it does.
