  iPhone 6 Plus, iOS9.3.5: last week I had the unfortunate experience of playing a song in my music player of Apple with my buddies from the ear, only to play at full volume. Ouch. Today I plugged my headphones (headphones) and deliberately the volume value that says "volume headphones' to 2 bars. My open music player and pressed play. Music played at full volume! Ouch, Ouch. Has anyone else had this experience? Being a loyal user of Apple, I thought that I should perhaps report it as a bug, but couldn't find a way to provide this feedback to them. Interested in your thoughts.

• issues connecting to car stereo, volume issues.

  I have a problem when I play music through my car stereo. the volume is very low, the better the sound is very bad. I use max volume om my car radio and 100% om my Z3 to hear something. I use the 3 headphone output 5mm on my Z3, connected to the 3, 5mm to aux-in jacket on my car stereo.

  I tested my Z3 in a friends car stereo with my cable connector and it looks great and good volume. I also tested my friends phone on my car radio, and he had no problem there either.

  And if I do not connect my Z3 to stereo exactly the right way, it has no sound at all in my stereo and play music on my Z3.

  I didn t have this problem with my Oneplus One connected to my Saab car stereo, it worked very well and with any problem.

  I have a friend who have the same brand and model of car, car stereo and it has the same problem, but its smartphone is a Samsung galaxy S4.

  I think I might just have a solution to my problem.
  After extensive research on saab forums in the world, I found that others have had similar problems, but especially with Samsung galaxy s3 units. And the problem extends to some other automakers to be stereo, but for most manufacturers within GM and about 2006-2008, like the Saab 9 - 5...
  It has to do with an impedance to a certain extent, but I can understand that phone (in my case a Sony xperia z3) is not the impression that stereo is connected and vice versa. There are several ways to solve this problem, but when it comes to the xperia z3 is very simple. Simply download an app from Google game store called "soundabout" in this application you will have the opportunity to define and to devote to out that that uses the phone to the sound, the media and calls. Set just audio media to "wired headphones.
  I tried and I think that it is a solution to my problem and that it must be a software problem and so it can be fixed. Then maybe you can pass this problem to the right people within the Sony company, and they could reach a permanent solution in the next update of the firmware Rickard? :-)

• Inspiron 1525 - volume issues

  I just got my laptop and tried to play a DVD but cannot get sufficient volume. I did everything in the user's manual. It refers to the Volume control console and suggests using the 'Help' button, but it is not a here! I'm not technical, I want to just simple instructions on how to increase the volume. Level 100 and it won't go higher. Does this mean that I can only listen with headphones? Is it "limited" as trucks are! ??

  
  

• EqualLogic SAN volume issue

  As I am virtualizing our infrastructure, a thought occurred to me.  First, the Installer - 3 hosts vSphere 4 connected to a SAN EqualLogic PS6000XV network.  We use iSCSI on the network for connectivity maps.  I was put in service a volume by comments on the side EqualLogic.  We did not do anything with the snapshots or replication - that will come later.  Our immediate goal is just to virtualize our servers and continue our backup and restore as usual procedures.  This is likely to change so we can use snapshot technologies, but also the stuff of VMware.  Anyway, to my question.  Should I continue this way?  One volume per person.  Or should I do a large volume and then put my VMs on the single volume?  On the SAN, the whole thing is configured in RAID-50.  I made only a handful of non-critical servers to date.  I'm not sure what are the best practices in this scenario.  What worries me is that if I continue this way, I could lose some instant advantage later or something like that.

  While the expansion of VMFS volumes is less a problem in vSphere that it was in the past, the point is that having a unit logic by VM number increases management and effort if you need to grow the hard disk to the virtual machine.  If you need to add 20 GB for drive E: one of your virtual machines, it's easy to do when using large volumes because you probably the free space to simply increase the size of the virtual disk.  If you use the method "a unit logic by VM number", you may initially increase the size of the LUN on the EqualLogic, then extend the VMFS volume in vSphere, and finally to increase the size of the virtual disk across comments.

  Another part of the equation is the backup of the virtual machine.  Many tools available for VMware backup can make backup 'LAN-free' by connecting directly to the storage.  To do this, you must present the VMFS volumes on a Windows backup server and the software then reads directly from there, rather than transfer on each ESX host network.  If you use a product that saved using this method, you must present all of your VMFS volumes to this server from Windows instead of just one or two larger LUN.

  I have seen many different deployments of VI3/vSphere and saw the two one LUN per VM model, as well as the virtual machine of 15-20 by the largest LUN model.  In almost all cases, those who did a unit number logic by VM regretted and find it difficult to manage without any real advantage.

• clip volume issue

  so im arraging crochet in a song that I have... and ive copied and pasted the hook at the right place throughout the entire song. My question is this: at the beginning of each hook has a large amount of space.so black when I line them up all... the empty space in the THIRD HOOK audio CHEVAUCHE real in the 2nd hook.so when im mix I like to mix the entire track so I have a great to work with and not separated 3 hooks on a track. Once mixed... the empty space of the third hook that overlaps the audio in the 2nd hook makes the audio in the 2nd extremely low hook. I kno its due to the empty space that overlap. so is my question there a way to not get there? or should I juice pretty much mix down the third hook on its on and cut the empty space so its not not overlap the 2nd audio hook and then realign the 3rd hook again? its annoying because I can't change the hook copied and pasted into the waveform without him bringing the same exact changes to the other and then throw out of sync... I can easily solve this problem... but im curious if theres an easier way

  In multitrack view, you can cut out non-destructive the start and end of clips.

  Pass the move tool (the arrow with the sign +) to the beginning or the end of a clip and you will get a "parenthesis" red type symbol square with a black arrow pointing both ways.  Left click and hold the symbol is visible and you can cut the clip (in your case remove the Black Forest) not destructive, i.e. the info is still there and you can insert it if you change your mind.

• Why volume TM on my external drive recording also 2 other volumes to TM?

  I have 3 volumes on My Passport for Mac external hard drive.  One is for backups of TM and the 2 others dedicated to Carbon Copy Clone volumes (just in case my mac turns on fire etc).

  In Finder, when I attach my passport, 3 volumes appear, if I eject the 2 that I don't need it or not, the TM volume record as TM should, but it records also 2 other volumes.  What I am doing wrong?

  Are you sure that TM is actually backup volumes on the same physical disk?

  To open system preferences the Time Machine pref pane, then EXCLUDE what you do not want saved by TM.

  Uninstall the driver, reboot the system. The attempt to install the same driver for Windows Vista using Windows troubleshooting. Make a right click on the file executable/installer driver-> properties and select the Compatibility tab. Click on the box to check run this program in compatibility mode for option and select Windows Vista from the drop-down list. then try to install the device driver using run as administrator.

• Problem with double volume ID

  I have this little block of code that passes through each disk and assigns to thin provisioned when setting up the job specification.

  Lets take an example where a system has 3 disks. In the code above, if I just set up each drive manually instead of having in a loop (same exact code, just to get out of the loop and hardcode the array index), it works fine. Each disk and volume gets its own ID and conversion works correctly.

  For some reason when I implement the loop, it seems to take the same disc 3 times instead of 3 different discs and, as would be expected, confuses the heck out of the VSS service. See the changelog below from the source system.

  You noticed I put a little console.writeline here to show me the code. They are different at this time. Sometimes between it and the submission of work deal with the GET IDs all rigged to the top.

  Yet once, if I just take the loop and the hard-coding the index, it works fine. Any ideas? It has really puzzled me.

  You need to move

  inside the loop. You need a new instance for each disc. With the current implementation, you don't have that one instance and several references to it, in order to update the instance updates "everywhere" it is referenced.

• Resizing of disk - mirror, copy, etc.

  We have a vSphere environment with a certain servers 5.  Initially, when I staged all of these virtual machines, they have been staged virtual.  No P2V migration.  It is also our first go-around with Server 2008 R2.  So, me being the inexperienced VM admin who I am, I size too small drives.  I have also included the drive C and D on the same VMDK.  Further, I'll NEVER do that again.  So my dilemma is I have several servers with too small drive C on the VMDK even as their D drive.  I would like to be able to monitor these servers because they are super important.  One of them should ideally be grouped, but the underlying database software (not one of the big names) does not support this.  I already have several other resized because they are not essential to stay in place.  I just attached to another unit number logic, ghosts of the disk to that LUN and resizes, then the original ghosts.  A lot of time but it worked.  So, I worked on a few ways that I think this might work:

  1. Clone Volume on SAN, tie in the second disc of VM.  F and G (or other) would be an exact copy of C and D.  Remove D and F.  This creates two readers so that we can resize them if necessary.  Renaming from G to D.
     
  2. Set new volume to VM.  Using drive mirroring, mirror drive D.  D to destroy and break the mirror.  I'm rusty on this process, as I have not had to do since Windows NT.
     
  3. Ghost new volume on SAN, then re-Ghost back.  Quite tedious.  Really want to do.
     
  4. Moving a Vmware converter.  A direct conversion is not an option because of the number of transactions that receive this server.  Don't want to do this offline, but if it's our only option then...
     
  5. Mount the new disk and robocopy D.  D origin of delete and rename new D expand C.  Yet once, file level stuff and will be done in Mode without failure.
     
  6. Create the copy of VMDK and mount it as another disk, similar to step 1.
     
  7. Some other miracle software that I don't know.
     

  I have a SQL Server that I need to do the same, but I can take it down on the weekend.  I thought that my best option for SQL Server would be number 6 but for my original server that is on the issue, I think that option 2 might be the way to go.  If someone has done one of these?  My ideal would be some kind of direct repartitioning, but I come in white when I look.

  I did all of these options (except #2) at least once at some point! They will all work, and the key seems to be generally find the quickest and easiest way to do. Copies of SAN can be very fast, can again VMDK and robocopy. Any approach that allows you to initiate data and can get the changes later is generally solid. This allows you to plan a little time out, stopping apps (get a consistent state) make the final copy/sync operation, make the changes, and then test. I don't know of any miracle for this approach.

• Flash crashing and video playback/Streaming problems

  Recently did a reinstall of Windows 7 and have experienced problems with Flash and video playback in general. Questions may or may not be related. I have not detected problems with the opera and so I think that these are problems of Firefox. 3 major video sites that I use are (HTML 5 player) YouTube, twitch.tvand Crunchyroll.

  (1) flash very quickly and systematically accidents

     * Specifically noted when viewing streams on twitch.tv
     * Often crashes within a minute, almost certainly within a few minutes
     * Crash logs provided below
  

  (2) reading crashes

     * Occurs on all 3 sites
     * On twitch, stream freezes (but Flash does not crash). On YouTube, loading circle comes up and video freezes
     * If this occurs on twitch, Flash less likely to officially crash
  

  (3) volume cuts

     * Occurs on all 3 sites
     * If this occurs on twitch, Flash may still crash after
     * I've had volume issues with my system in general, with volume occasionally cutting in gaming programs, such as League of   Legends and Hearthstone. That being said, I do not experience this issue with Opera and this only occurs on video playback in Firefox.

  Attempts at Solutions:

     * Disabled hardware acceleration in Flash
     * Reinstalled/Updated Flash and (I think) made sure there is only one version of Flash

     * Cleared cookies/cache/other stored web data

  I wouldn't stop using Firefox as my preferred browser and works fine on all my other devices, but if the problem persists, I'll have to. Any help or insight is appreciated!

  Unfortunately, I have tried all fixes of cor - el without success.

  However, I started to use audio drivers Realtek instead of Microsoft and everything seems to work more smooth. Will update later when I did several tests.

• Random restarts Macmini 5.2 2011

  I have a Mac Mini 2011 5.2, which has begun to restart several times a day.

  He put to restart after power failure, so I wonder if I actually got to see power failure.

  I tried to boot from an external hard drive with a completely clean install (same OS: 10.11.6) and leaving it, but restarting keep coming.

  I also tried Resetting PRAM and PMU, but that does not change.

  The only crashlogs to left behind come Crashplan, but assured me (Crashplan support) that they are objects of the accident rather than Crashplan being the cause.  I think that this is supported by the following lines of the paper this morning:

  (Although it should not change anything) I did a clean install on the internal hard drive, and nothing changes.

  I ran TechTool diagnosis on all hard drives and RAM and nothing shows as problematic.

  I also ran EtreCheck (results below), and I don't see anything obvious.

  My suspicion is that the power rather than the motherboard is due to everything behaving quite normally when I actively use the machine.  Strangely, I have not met a reboot when I actually used it.

  Any thoughts would be appreciated.

  Well, at least the crash logs show you when the reboot happened. You can search for what is happening in these specific times by checking the Console. Search also in Diagnostic messages and the use of tab.

  Do you want to be a second backup or you simply want to move to the larger disk? The quickest way would very probably be use Carbon Copy Cloner to clone one to another. If you want it to be different from other data store you on the largest disk (not recommended), then you will need to create a separate partition for backup to disk with greater capacity.

  You can also clone volumes using restore in disk utility.

  1. Open utility disk from the Applications\utilitaires folder.
  2. Select the volume target in the list on the left.
  3. Click the restore in the main window of disk utility.
  4. Select again the volume target in the list aside and drag it into the Destination field.
  5. Select the volume of the Source of the list aside and drag it to the Source domain.
  6. Click Restore.

• Replication between PS6010 and PS410 question

  It takes backup volumes to the old array to new array

  -Old (PS6010 with firmware V4.3.6) - old table group
  -New table (PS4110 with firmware V7.0.9) - new group

  After I set up replication between two group when I try to replicate group volume to the New Group it fail with the error:.
  iSCSI: unknown response code

  but the new replication group to the success of the group without any error

  is it possible to clone volumes from the old array to new array (online)?

  Hello

  Update the firmware of the former group first and then try again.  Revisions that away are not tested nor supported.  Firmware upgrade instructions have an array of compatible revisions.
