Cloned new HDD for Pavilion 1210.uk does not start

I am new to the forum so Hi everyone.

I just installed a new HDD (SATA) to my office. BIOS identiified unit correctly and I cloned using HDClone software. He succeeded with 0 read and write errors. All files are accessed through drive letter access. So far so good, I thought. I then tried to boot from the disc again by changing the BIOS boot order. Hoewver, when the trunk begins with the new PC HARD drive crashes with a white/black screen with the cursor blinking in the upper left corner. It is the logo of Microsoft and o/s linen starts (XP).

Some additional information:

* Old HARD drive still boots without problem with or without the new drive.

* I changed the transfer rate of 3.0 GB to 1.5 GB being the SATA 2 drive. That made no difference, then changed back.

I don't know what is wrong, someone has also experienced this or knows what is the problem?

Thanks for reading.

The cloned system was not built with PATA and SATA drivers.  This could be the problem. You still get the blinking cursor?  You can send an email to technical support HDClone and ask of PATA, SATA problem of cloning.

My HP Pavilion dv7t-3000 does not start. I checked this article: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c01732674

According to who, the error condition is: 'non-functional CPU.

So if I buy a new processor and disassemble the laptop and replace the processor, it will fix the problem?

Perhaps, but it is much more likely to be the motherboard. If the motherboard is bad, you can't trust the blink codes that it generates. Failures of the CPU but rarely occur. Motherboard failure happens all the time.

  • HP Pavilion p6-2054uk: HP Pavilion p6-2054uk does not start all of a sudden upward. Help, please.

I hope someone can help here?

I have a desktop HP Pavilion p6-2054uk (Windows 7 64 bit - i5, 3.00 Ghz - 6 GB of RAM) that I bought in 2012 and especially use of HP products.

By starting my PC the other day, it will not start and crashes on the HP splash screen. When you press ESC, F10 and F1 and F8, it simply changes the screen to a black screen with 7 lines of text giving the details of my PC base on this subject. It should give me other optins at this stage, but does not work.

The HP Pavilion p6-2054uk hard drive does not start even another hard drive OS I've tried from another computer with Windows 7 64 bit on it. Troubleshooting a few others, I even tried a fresh new hard drive in it with a new copy of Windows 7 64 bit to install into the CD Rom and it will not yet go through the HP start - that is abnormal screen since usually, it detects the Windows CD and install. Furthermore, fans in the PC work normal, as the eject the power of the PC CD ROM light is on too. I tried all the three available inside power cables and tried diferent nine cables sata/data and another monitor entry too, all to nothing done.

The hard drive that was in the HP Pavilion p6-2054uk when he stopped to start up is fully accessible when placed in the other machine I have. Therefore, it is still operational.

The notable thing only I did in the days before it were installing Adobe Creative Suite 6 but I do not think that it would cause a major problem like this, noting also that another hard disk OS (without Creative Suite 6 is installed) and a new facility wouldn't start either. Therefore, I am afraid a harware issue any.

What could be going on here?

Side for the second or 2 of optimism about the usual boot the PC normally makes noises, it looks like he died immediately after, suspended on the HP screen.

    Thanks in advance.

    R.

  • Pavilion G6-1b59wm does not start

Nice day.. I have a G6 Pavilion that does not start when you push the power button. I tried it on battery only and with the power supply cord is plugged in. And yet nothing.

Here's what I see: when the power supply cord is plugged in, the power supply next to the port light is white. I press the power button it flashes white momentarily (and it flashes F12). Nothing else happens. No other led lite, the screen remains black.

    Diagnosis steps followed:

    1. the battery was removed, and unplugged. Start button / stop for 30 seconds and reconnected. Nothing.

    2. battery removed and plugged into the wall. Start button / down stop and nothing.

3 tried a different power cord, different battery... nothing

4 removed boards from the RAM, button / Stop button... nothing

5 deleted from the hard disk (RAM yet uninstalled), button / Stop button... nothing

    Hello.

    I use a HP Pavilion laptop 1045ej g6. The laptop is 4 years and 3 days ago, I replaced the cpu of i3 380 m to i7 640 m.

After the repalcement of the laptop won't start, fans were whirring but the BIOS screen came. The Caps Lock key flashes at intervals of one, the wireless button is orange and that's all. Its been like that since.

    Any suggestions?, please help.

    Hi there @Mr_Potato.

Let me welcome in the HP support community where you can ask questions, find solutions, and get help with problems you encounter. If my answer to solve your problem or answer your questions, please inform others that this answer was helpful by clicking on the accept button Solution.

The led near the caps lock shift keys and numlock blinks if a fault is detected during the boot process. The LEDs flash multiple times in a sequence and then stops. The number of flashes of the sequence is 1 blink. This means that the processor is not functional.

Source: computer does not start and emits a LED or beep Code

You can try to reinstall the CPU and check all connections first of all to see if maybe it just has not read correctly, as you said you just replace the CPU.

Although you had mentioned, you have replaced the i3 - 380 m with an i7 - 640 m. I found the CPU that came with the notebook in the table for the previous generation Intel® processors. Then, I checked to see what is compatible. Please look at HP Pavilion g6-1045ej Notebook PC Maintenance and Service of Guide on page 1.

    Hello

Error code 24 characters long drive Self Test (DST) would indicate that hard is defective and must be replaced.  This is also consistent with the startup problem you describe.

If your laptop is still under warranty, contact HP and arrange for the disk replaced - you can check the status of your warranty here.

If you live in the United States, contact HP here.

If you are in another part of the world, begin here.

  • My copy registered and checked for XP Pro SP3 does not start after changing the motherboard. Second problem is that I can't find my original install of XP Pro disc.

After failing to find the source of reliable performance from my PC, I decided to bite the bullet and replace the motherboard, memory and the CPU. I installed a triple base 435 Athlon and a motherboard Gigabyte MA74GMT. Awarded PC again started the first time - but Windows will not, I get a number of options but none work - safe mode brings up several lines of messages on the partition of multi (0) disk (0) rdisk (0).

A previous post suggested that a similar message meant some kind of malware but if I replace the old motherboard, processor and memory Windows works very well - in fact I use it now.

Do I have an option but to reinstall Windows from a CD? Otherwise I have a problem - I can't find the installation discs for each piece of software except my Windows XP Pro! I do repair discs?

    Thanks for your help.

As the topic says my computer does not start after a change of the RAM.

I've updated 2 x 2 GB 2 x 4 GB DDR3 SO - DIMM 204pins Rams. When I start the computer after installing new RAM does nothing, all I get is a black screen.

According to the Spec computers, it should be able to take up to 8 GB of DDR3 RAM.

    Can someone help me?

    Thank you

    Here's the key:

We're working on two sockets and one does not at all.

You have a bad memory module. It happens very rarely, but it's not impossible to get a new stick of bad memory. Get the replaced bad and I think you'll be fine.

  • Satellite P200-1BA - HDD is faulty and Windows does not start

Fujitsu HDD diagnostic tool returned a FAILURE result. Who should I contact to do what? Throw the HARD drive and buy another?

The laptop was purchased in March last year and came up with this problem. It bothered me not far, given that the data written in these bad sectors and I have no problems. Because I accidentally deleted data, operating system written in these bad sectors and corrupts the data. Formatting the drive does not at all help, bad sectors are not detected by Windows Vista, only by the manufacturer's diagnostic tool. When asked to warranty on the manufacturer's website, it says it's expiration date is 10/09/10, but they do nothing about it, I have to contact the manufacturer of the system and tell him about this, because it's a VERY SPECIAL GUARANTEE: "serial number determined to be sold to a system with a single system warranty manufacturer and must be returned by the manufacturer of the system.

Anyone any ideas? Or should I just buy another HARD drive. Thank you.

PS: by the way, I'm not the only one having this problem for the same model of HARD drive.

    ´HI

Just a question: why didn t contact you authorized service provider?

I men if your laptop is still under warranty, you can get a new HARD drive for free. The ASP can order a new one and swap it out. All that s! :)

On the Toshiba site, you can search the nearest ASP:
    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com > support & downloads > download drivers

If your computer laptop isn't under warranty, you must buy a new HARD drive. But the s HDD are not that expensive.

  • Pavilion laptop g7 does not start

I have a HP Pavilion g7-1167dx Notebook PC running Windows 7 Home Premium.  When I turn it on, the LED only lights are LEDs of power (on the power switch and side) and the network LED on the F12 key.  I am not able to enter the diagnostics of material via the F2 key.  The fan is operating normally. It was produced before intermittently, but I wanted to just wait awhile and it would eventually start again.  When he finally is never returned, I disassembled carefully, according to the maintenance and care, guide (on an ESD protection adequate workstation) and gave it a good cleaning.  It was very dusty inside.  Unfortunately when I reassembled it, it still does not work.  The computer is a little more than two years. Product number: LW414UA #ABA

I sent the motherboard to repair parts of computer out of Miami, Florida and they fixed it and returned.  I was told it was the video chip.  They charged $70.00.  With each shipment way I got it fixed for $90.00.   Hallelujah!  With their setting of the original motherboard, I didn't have to worry about problems of CMOS and "tattoeing" a new motherboard, which would have cost a lot more.

  • Pavilion 500: PC does not start.

I recently installed Windows 10 preview alongside Windows Enterprise 8.1, due to the fact that I could not install the latest version of Windows 10 preview 10041 I tried fiddling around with my boot partition, consiquently I can't boot my machine at all is to say does not provide BIOS/UEFI & all I get is a blank screen.  I tried to start my 8.1 Windows Pro CD & nothing, infact my PC does not detect the CD at all.  I also deleted my partition to restore HP 'yonks' (plonker!) there.  Peuvent some please help?  I have three partitions on my drive, there are W10, we have W8.1 Pro and the third has all my documents & photos etc.  My boot default OS saw W10.

Thank you for the additional information.

I carefully read your original post.  I think your best option is a system recovery.  Given that you have deleted the recovery partition, you must order the HP discs:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/product/HP-Pavilion-500-000-desktop-PC-series/5358992/model/5403158/document/bph07143/

So, I suggest to use a second hard drive to install Win 10.  It is the best way for dual boot.  When you have two OS' are on the same drive there is a lot of room for error. especially when installing a less stable version.  Win 10 is exactly that.
