  I am trying to download PS CC and about 42% downloading, I get a message to close the bridge.  I don't have Photoshop or open deck.  How to work around this message.

  This error occurs when Adobe Bridge is configured to start when you connect, so it runs in the background.

  I buy a CS5.5 update and after entering my serial number started my installation.  I was then instructed to close the CS5.5 bridge in order to continue.  How can I close CS5.5 bridge before it was installed.  I have no bridge of any kind open version.  I restarted to make sure that nothing was open and I tried again and got the same prompt.  Don't know what to do?

  You install an upgrade, aren't you? So, there is a version of the bridge on the system. --> The Task Manager or Activity Monitor--> process of--> Bridge.exe / Bridge.app. Right-click, to end.

• After Effects do not recognize that the bridge is installed

  I use Classroom in a Book.  Several lessons require opening the bridge in After Effects, but I get a message that the bridge is not installed.  Bridge is installed and works perfectly with the ch & PR in addition, when opening After Effects, I get an error message:

  C; \program Files\adobe\Common\Plug-ins\7.0\Media Core\Cineform\CFHD-AVI-Importer32.pm

  I tried from holding down the SHIFT key to clear the cache, reinstalled, but not luck.  Any ideas?

  I have CS5 and I'm trying to download the update for RAW processing.   I did, until it tries to install.  I get the message of closure CS5 and bridge.   When I close the two and the press continues, I get the message to close the bridge.   It is already closed.   Don't know what to do from here.

  I tried both use the software update feature in Bridge, and I downloaded the update from the Adobe site and get the same error message.  Also, I rebooted my computer and tried to install it, still get message to close the bridge.

• Will not update because of the bridge?

  New system, Windows 7, 64 Bit, PS CS4 installed, but three UPDATES will not be installed.  Screens said closing the bridge, HUH?  PS CS4 does not work.  Any ideas?  I tried to manually load the RAW update, but it says that I have to close the bridge.  I am confused, can anyone help?

  The system is probably set to the automatic loading at startup deck, so it runs in the backrgound.  Disable this feature.

  Sorry for the inconvenience, but this issue is already reproduced and reported and I hope this is fixed in the next update.

  You can roll back to the previous version 13.7.2 of After Effects to use the bridge.

• When I close the Firefox window, I get the warning that I am closing multiple tabs. The tabs back on reboot.

  When I have more now open tab and I use the x in the window close the browser I get the warning that I close x number of tabs. If I click on continue it closes the window. It's still all I had to do to end the session and close all. Now when I restart Firefox all tabs that were closed at the previous session appear on the new page.   Did you remove the user.js file because this file is the main cause of the problem?
