  bobba1, CS6 and CC are two separate applications. Thus, it is irrelevant at all, how or in what order uninstall you.

  If you do not want to keep both of them, you can install CS6, maybe after or before installing CC, your choice.

  It is the same with Lightroom.

  Jacque Cement you can find details on how to customize the installation to download and install Adobe Creative Cloud applications.  The specific instructions are the following:

  By default, your Cloud Creative applications are installed in the folder Program Files (Windows) or in the Applications (Mac OS) folder.

  You can change the default installation location, although this is generally not recommended. Open the Adobe Creative cloud application, and then click the gear on the top icon to the right of the window. Choose Preferences > Apps > installation location > change. Navigate to the location you want, and then click Open. Your new installation location will appear in the menu.

  check your directory program files adobe > first pro cs6 > first pro.exe file.

  (restart the cc app will probably also work.)

  You write that you have creative cloud.  Which means that you have Acrobat Pro installed.

  Use Acrobat Pro to convert, not Adobe/Acrobat Reader.

• Creative cloud installer will not install.

  I had a subscription to Photoshop CC and noticed it seems to be up to date. I go to the Adobe website in the downloads section, to see about how to manually download the latest version, but instead to get a link to download Photoshop, it gives me a link to download the installer of creative cloud. Fine. I have download the package, open the disk image and run the Setup program. It starts to download the cloud creative desktop application (which I have apparently already), get about halfway the progress bar before disappearing without a trace. Since then, I tried following the instructions to uninstall Photoshop manually by running the uninstall program in the Utilities folder. He tells me that you need to download the installer of creative cloud, and I am at square one.

  Stephen, the only other suggestion, I then would be to examine the logs of download for specific errors. You can find details on how to locate the download logs to error download and installation of the creative cloud application.

  You can also check for a Setup log, but I don't think you're able to get that far in the process.  You can find details on how to locate and interpret logs to installation troubleshooting install problems with log files. CC. feel free to post specific errors you find in any log in this discussion.  If you can identify which log file, it comes it can help with the process of interpretation.

  Finally can you confirm that you completed all the steps listed in the "failed to install" error Creative Cloud Desktop application?  He solved a similar behavior to others in the past.

But now, I'm going to then ran CC app and update Photoshop apparently. I say apparently, because I can't find it anywhere on my Mac Photoshop now? No icons in Launchpad, nothing in the applications folder?

  I downloaded Acrobat and it is very good, behaves as expected, he's just Photoshop.

  I don't see how to delete Photoshop to reinstall as there is no trace of it! The app CC says it's installed and up to date.

  I bought Adobe Master Collection CS6 licenses persistent.  Since I only upgrade every 3 years, I hope that at this time, there is a clear answer for people like me and for some years was last updated, I bought CS6.
