Cloud Desktop Creative Installer is frozen

The Creative Cloud Desktop Installer froze on the screen "Download Creative Cloud Desktop" (see image).

I tried many things to fix the problem. More recently, I uninstalled all Adobe CC applications and run the cleanup tool Adobe CC.

Any ideas? It stays frozen on the screen below.

Thank you Jeff, after having spent 5 hours trying different solutions with Adobe support chat, I decided to just do a clean reinstall of the operating system. It worked.

    I try to install the Office of creative cloud for Mac (Yosemite), and in the middle of the download/installation, the window simply disappears. Someone knows this? I tried almost everything I found here on the forum. Already uninstalled the previous tried CCCleaner, rename the folder, I disabled the firewall... and nothing. Any tips?

    Trash Adobe Creative Cloud and Adobe Application Manager of utility records.

    Run the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner tool.

    If present, select the option - Adobe Application Manager for Mac OS X 10.6

    (it will appear as 10.6 on all the Mac version)

    Then click on clean up selected.

    Then try to install the creative Cloud desktop application:

    I tried many different things to try to fix it. The last thing I tried based on a member of Adobe on this forum has been delete all my apps of the suite (first pro, quality of speed of lightroom, AfterEffects etc.) and all files and folders associated with all Adobe products... WHAT I COULD FIND I DELETED, the system rebooted, used cleaning tool, rebooted the system.

    Downloaded and tried to re - install the Adobe Desktop CC and it stops about 30 seconds in and then closes itself (see screenshot attached) Ive tried a dozen times and a lot of different things in the view of the members but every time his order and quit smoking at the same point. (screenshot attached)

    Any professional help greatly appreciated, I'm not known and have tried many different things on the bad advice and am nowhere, losing all my functional programs on the advice of what we call "Adobe Member" was so frustrating, I've lost everything. If you need more information in order to study please let me know, I don't remember all the steps I have taken along the way however.

  • Creative Cloud Desktop application installer crashes to download

    Hi when I download and run installer (CreativeCloudSetup.exe) on the stalls Win8 CC it to about 8% and will not download the necessary files.

    To clarify, I can download the CreativeCloudSetup.exe very well, but when I run it it crashes when you try to download files.    Here's what he said after sitting about 8% for a minute or 2.

    Support cat person named VALAURYS (sp?) was very helpful and got my problems solved.  He was very involved and necessary tool Adobe cleaner as well as a few of the locations of files deep within windows (hosts file, AppData, sending a log in the temp directory...

    It would be nice if Adobe has released these specific steps for all to use.  In any case, the problems are solved!

  • Error message "we encountered the following problems: creative cloud desktop cannot be installed.

    I have the Creative Suite 6 Design and Web Premium.  The applied Application Manager updates day at CS6 Licanse perpetual products, but did not recognize that I have a new subscription creative cloud for Phoroshop and Lightroom.  When you try to install Creative Cloud Desktop, the installation fails with no further details other than the above error message.

    System 8.1 Win, 3770 Intel Quad Core CPU, 32 GB memory, 2 Toshiba 3 to drive HARD SATA 3 configured as RAID 1. .  System works CS 6 no problem. Having disabled the Antivirus and firewall, cleared the cache on IE 10, closed all browsers after CC Office starts to download. CC Office does not appear in the win 8, but appears on the PC in Program Files (x 86), but I do not see an executable.

    Have also tried to download Creative Cloud Desktop as a stand-alone (www.adobe.com/go/adobecreativecloudapp) and also by downloading Photoshop CC as data indicate any product downloaded will install the CC Office.

    CreativeCloudSet - up.exe exists on PC and properties are 2 775 KB of size. Performing the installation of the application on PC yeilds results - product downloads and does not install.

    Try these steps and let us know if it helps:

    • Run the creative Cloud Cleaner tool and choose option 3 and then option 1 to complete the cleaning process.
    • Once done rename OOBE folder these places to OOBE.old

    Windows: C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Adobe

    C:\Users\ (UserName) \AppData\Local\Adobe

    Someone knows how to solve the following problem?

    After you install a software of creative cloud, I uninstalled Adobe application Manager manually and installed desktop application Cloud Creative manually.  because the automatic upgrade of adobe application manager creative cloud desktop application does not work.

    The creative cloud desktop application installation has been completed successfully.  but seems that it does not meet the transformation of history display if I choose 'Home'   The status icon will remain in continuity.  And no content does not appear on it.

  • Missing Creative Cloud Desktop applications tab

    Hello and thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

    I am under creative cloud on Mac OS 10.9.5. A few days ago, I've updated many of the applications through the Cloud Desktop creative application in the menu bar. The updated applications and they all seem to work fine, but now the tab Apps is missing altogether in the CC, desktop window and it is not even in the CC Office preferences. (See screenshots). Also, when I click on the button 'Install Adobe Apps' in the CC Office window, nothing happens.

    I uninstalled--> download--> Office CC re-installed several times, as well as to try some of the other troubleshooting suggestions I found here on the Adobe website, such as:

    • restart the computer
    • CC Desktop logging and then insert it again
    • deleting the file opm.db
    • delete the CoreSync folder
    • remove the plugin AdobeAAMDetect

    Nothing seems to fix. As I said, the applications all seem to work fine, but I would like to know that CC Desktop works as expected and keep me updated. Any other suggestions?

    Download of Lightroom 6 was exactly what I was when I realized that my apps tab is missing.  I'm on a PC, but this screenshot is a look at what I had to modify.  If you can't find this file on your Mac to change if all goes well it will solve your problem.

  • Problem with Creative Cloud Desktop app for Windows 8.1 update

    Hi, I have updated my desktop and laptop to Windows 8.1 over the last day and have noticed a problem with the Cloud Desktop creative application.

    Some menu items when I right click on either the CC system tray icon, or click the menu settings in the interface of the application itself does not show.  I've included a screenshot of the problem.

    I tried to uninstall and reinstall the desktop application, but it did not work.  Any ideas?

  • desktop application installs but does not open

    The cloud desktop application installs but appears in my

    Applications folder only as an alias that does nothing.

    I uninstalled and reinstalled the application.

    I have no problem with Photoshop.

    This problem can be easily fixed, it's just a typical user account permissions problem, when you are logged in as Root user, you will be having all permissions to almost all files and folders, but normal user account has all the permissions to most of the associated system files folders n, its default setting. Is that the reason for which the user account option Root is provided to turn on and off according to the user requirement.  Even on Windows sound, its built-in Administrator call hidden.

    Sometimes, even if the disc is to have all permissions, there will be an error, in this case, you can also try to fix permissions of drive running Applications > utilities > disk utility.

    First check the permissions of the drive and then click on repair disk permissions.

    But as I mentioned earlier, if possible check with Apple support once.

    I had a few struggles since this morning...

    Building 30 GB Photoshop file for a large project and could not open the file or any other PSB I built in the course of 5 weeks - went into the rabbit hole problems...

    now, I'm here...

    Impossible to install same adobe Creative Cloud Desktop App to start from scratch. The Setup program closes without so much as an error message. The screenshot is just before the time that the installation of adobe disappears. Very annoying. Someone knows something about this problem?

    I can give more context for how I got here and all the problems, I fell along the path/steps that my work to correct if nobody's got an immediate response.

    I need to get this project finished tomorrow .

    Is there any Offline Installer standalone Creative Cloud desktop or can be only of Media Encoder? My Media Encoder does not work and the time trying to install online it fails every time. Are there patches?
