  a test, I'm trying to create a cluster of 2 vm that runs

  ENT Ent/W2k8 SQL

  on ESX 4 build 208167.

  the shared disks are hard files stored on local VMFS on ESX host voluome.

  I followed the procedure of "cluster in a box":

  1 created a new virtual machine, as if it were a stand-alone server.

  2 - Adding a drive on the 1:0 SCSI bus (original disk was on 0:0).

  VMDK daughter is 'vmfs/volumes/.../ClusterNode1/ClusterNode1_1.vmdk '.

  3. it automatically added a second SCSI controller on the virtual machine

  4 - Set the virtual shared SCSI bus

  5 created a second vm, even as the first

  6 - adding a drive on the bus 1:0.

  same VMDK file is identical to step 2, "vmfs/volumes/.../ClusterNode1/ClusterNode1_1.vmdk".

  7 - Place the new virtual controller so

  8 - I began the first Vm and... Crash with the following message:

  VMware ESX Server cannot open the virtual drive, ' / vmfs/volumes/.../ClusterNode1/ClusterNode1_1.vmdk ' for clustering. Verify that the virtual disk was created using the "thick".

  Cannot open disk ' / vmfs/volumes/.../...vmdk' or one of the snapshot disks it depends on.

  Reason: thin/TBZ disks cannot be opened in multiwriter mode...

  Try a new installation of the Flash plug-in as follows.

  First, download the Flash uninstall utility on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

  Flash Player Uninstaller.

  Once the download is complete, close all the browser windows, open your downloads folder and run the program uninstaller.  Once done, restart the laptop.

  Then (unless you already have it), download and install Firefox , then using Firefox, download and install the latest version of Adobe Flash. Note: You can deselect the option to include McAfee Security Scan Plus before downloading.

  Close all browser windows before you run the installer of Flash.

  Start Firefox and see if the videos etc. play Ok in this browser - if they do, close Firefox, open Internet Explorer and click on the same link Adobe Flash above to get a command prompt to install the Flash component.  Once completed, restart Internet Explorer.

  Yes, you have Lightroom through the creative cloud. However, in the forums, each community specializes in each separate application that you have. There is a forum for the creative cloud, another for the Lightroom application, app, and yet another for Photoshop.

  Forum Adobe Creative Cloud, you could post a question of not being able to download another app through it, or maybe that you are having problems signing in. In the Photoshop Lightroom forum, you were wondering questions not being able to import photos into the app or another Lightroom.   I already used to have an old Intel Core2 chip system.

  I improved it so that my video editing life would be faster.  I have a new motherboard with a new intel I7-4770 3.5 GHz chip. same memory (16 GB-1600), card graphics, hard drive, DVD player, etc...

  On the system Core2, video projects that I've worked on everything worked well. I mainly use a Sony Z5 to film making. M2T files.

  On my old system, first running it CC to ALL WORK - no problem, but on the new construction, it blocks every time THAT I try to return with "error compiling Movie - unknown error.

  After FOUR hours on the phone with your tech in India media, they came up with a workaround. I insist - it's a workaround, not a solution.

  They concluded that if I changed the order to be "Customized" and then selected "Microsoft AVI" (any Codec, any) as the only preview instead of "I-Frame MPEG" File Format so Yes - it makes.

  The tech told me that it was because "M2T" files were fussy and had to be treated in this way.

  FAKE!

  If this * needed * to be the case, then why it worked already on my old system without any problems?

  Also, if I take a project that hangs on my Office PC and copy on my laptop, turn off first on my desk and turn on my laptop and run in there... IT MAKES FINE, using the single 'I - Frame MPEG' setting.

  Also, I shot some videos with a Nikon D5100, who produced full HD. MOV clips, * AND THE SAME PROBLEM STILL OCCURS * when rendering on my desktop PC and does that when I change the preview File Format to be ' Microsoft AVI - so it is not related to the. M2T video file type.

  So I can make things, but ultimately it's an and not a solution, as when I finished with a project and want to check out I do then in export and choosing "Match sequence settings", with Microsoft AVI is selected, he wants so of course export it to an AVI file, which I'm not - I want to 25mbps MPEG which is the original format/quality he has been shot to export it.  When I try and do it with "I-Frame only MPEG", selected as the type of sequence - you guessed, Media Encoder crashes

  So.  Why i-Frame only MPEG works on a single machine (my laptop), but on my main machine (office) that I want to use, it does not work? This piece of software/codec/file I am missing?

  -J' have all Windows/Admin permissions. It's not a permissions issue

  Please do not suggest one of these options.  None of them work.  I need someone who understands your software and know that i-Frame only MPEG is to be able to tell me why it does not work on my system.  I'm now past the stage of anger (because I've lost several days worth of worktime - and so money) and be upset (because it's massively frustrating when something that worked before now is not) and now I'm just to the point to be confused than anyone he can seem to tell me what is happening here and how to solve.

  So it seems that have been resolved.  (I had already tried disabling, reactivation and had not worked).

  The useful tech I spoke in India over a week he thought there could be something to an incorrect driver for my audio (a new motherboard with audio integrated).  However, the site of the manufacturer (ASUS) motherboard, insisted the audio driver / correct later, I had and I had already done that.

  However, I discovered that when I ran a "tell me if my drivers are all up to date on my system!" program (to see if I was missing something else), he insisted that I was not running the latest audio driver.  Intruiging!  So I went directly to the website Realek: (who do the audio chip)and dug around there, and I found a driver much more up-to-date that installed fine.

  As well! "scan driver" program was also kind enough to point out that I had not installed the Service Pack 1 for Windows 7.  He couldn't be... could that be?

  So I downloaded and installed the SP1, then restarted.  Charge of a project, and... wow! Finally. All of this is made without crashing.

  So make your choice - or the latest audio driver, or SP1 for Windows 7 or a combination of both - does the job.

  SP1 really updated the system codecs MPEG to make it work? It would be nice to know for sure if that's what it was it fixed.   And what this mysterious "i-Frame" codec overview is that I had never heard of the head of all these hassles.   And I'm always irritated that no one (INCLUDING myself!) does not check SP1 earler...  Duh.

  However.  I was able to perform a job today...

• Problem VMDK file large cluster in a box

  So I've been running a flavor of vmware server 2.x since its release with little or no problems. Not that it matters but my host server is a Dell Poweredge 1900 with 32 GB of RAM, running windows server 2003 x 64.  I have also 2 Windows VM that I run as a cluster in a box, and they worked very well in this way for more than 3-4 years at the time of vmware 1.x. Both virtual machines have been set up exactly as such:

  SCSI 0:0 16GB & lt; - c drive

  1:0 500 MB & lt; - quorum SCSI cluster

  SCSI 1:1 12GB & lt; - the app cluster disk

  1:2 950 GB SCSI & lt; - storage of cluster disk

  SCSI 1:3) 12 GB & lt;-the sql cluster disk

  1:4 250 GB & lt; - disk SCSI storage of additional cluster

  What I did recently to set up a new file 2 TB since vmware server 2.x vmdk will now allow you to make files vmdk bigger than the old limit of 950 GB. This new 2 TB file was supposed to replace my 2 readers of old SCSI 1:2 and 1:4 SCSI cluster storage. After making the swap and copy all data to a vmdk file again, I noticed a problem at any moment I'm going to and move the resource cluster VMDK new 2 TB to the other server. Basically the two servers stop responding and it seems that vmware server choke on the 2 TB for some reason vmdk file any. Here's what I see in my logs any time that this happens.

  I'm not at all surprised that you get this problems.

  You use monolithicSparse vmdk type!

  For cluster in a box, I highly recommend flat VMDK.

  I don't think that 'hack' will help you here, or at least with CS5.5. I believe that only nVidia video cards will enable MEPS (Mercury playback engine) with hardware acceleration for this version.

  With the latest version of CC (7.0.1), Adobe supports quite a few for OpenGL ATI cards, so try this version could be a possibility.

  You will need to have a sim card in the phone to activate when first implemented, after that you can remove the sim card and use it with wifi only.

  I assume you mean the file icons in Windows Explorer (my computer). The curved arrow indicates that the listed item is actually just a shortcut to a file or a program. The exclamation point and the green check mark will have something to do with the backup or archiving and depend on the settings you have made in Windows or backup software that you have installed.

  I can connect to my network, but with access "local only".  Internet became more intermittent (not sure if that is related or if I guess it) and did not work in several weeks.  Desktop computer is plugged into the router, but have the same problem when it is plugged into the DSL modem.  Other computers on the same router (wireless or other) work very well.  Recently, I removed Mcaffee and installed MS security essentials.  I uninstalled mcaffee of programs and settings then used the mcaffee removal tool to lighten the rest.  I uninstalled and reinstalled MS security essentials.  I thought it might be a firewall issue, but I get error 0x6D9 when I try to start it.  I tried all the steps in the following post, nothing helps.  Any other suggestions?

  You can follow the steps below and check if that helps you solve the problem.

  Method 1

  Try to power cycle the router and the computer and check if it helps.

  On the PC:

  1. Save your work and restart the machine.

  On the router or modem (if wireless printing):

  1. Unplug the router and the modem.
  2. Wait 30 seconds.
  3. Plug in the modem and wait for it to come to the ready state.
  4. Plug in the router.

  After you put cycle check the connection between the router and the computer.

  Method 2
