CME 9.1, 7945 &; Firmware 9.3(1SR1)
Guys,
CME 9.1 comes with a firmware 9.2 (1).
7945 come out of the box with the 9.3 firmware 1.
CME 9.1 does not list 9.3 1 as firmware supported
When you plug a 7945 into a system of CME with firmware 9.2 9.1 (1), the phone says "redevelopment" and then fails, returns to 9.3 1 firmware and am working on it. Whenever he goes to zero, he tries to upgrade and fails. The error message is 'load rejected HC' a. This seems to say the firmware is not compatible with this material... somebody else had a similar problem.
https://supportforums.Cisco.com/thread/2228487?TSTART=0
If the plant reset you the phone, it will not work, it just resets itself constantly, trying to pass to 9.2 (1), but fails, it never gets past the upgrade screen, so you cannot view log.
The only solution I found for phones in this State is 9.3 1 firmware on the flash of the CME and say phones to use that they seem to work fine, however it is not listed as supported for CMF 9.1, 9.2 (1) is the highest:
http://www.Cisco.com/en/us/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucme/requirements/guide/cme91spc.html
If anyone has had this problem or knows what to do?
I am unable to get my phones 7945 9.2 (1) for the moment. My options seem to be to either just leave phones that they are, they fail to upgrade every time you start and run 9.3 1 firmware, not actually say CME to use 9.3 1 and work in an unsupported configuration.
Any ideas? Thank you!
Hi Carl,
9.3 firmware 1 would be "fully" supported on CME 9.1. Support
firmware that you see in the matrix of the GCE, this is what was available and thoughtful
stable in time CME 9.1 is out and is not updated in the new firmware
Releases of down pipe
When in doubt, I would open a TAC case to confirm the independence of
the relationship between ECM and taken firmware versions supported.
Here's this note asking the questions you see;
Material updates
Material updates improve the compatibility of the internal components.
The following table lists the versions of updated material requiring this version.
Phone |
Hardware version |
---|---|
Cisco Unified IP Phone 7942G |
15.0 and higher |
Cisco Unified IP Phone 7962G |
15.0 and higher |
Cisco Unified IP Phone 7945G |
13.0 and higher |
Cisco Unified IP Phone 7965G |
13.0 and higher |
Cisco Unified IP Phone 7975G |
12.0 and higher |
Manufactured with these versions of hardware phones must run SR1 Firmware version 9.3 (1) or later. The firmware of the phone does not allow the phone to be downgraded for versions prior to version 9.3 (1) SR1.
See you soon!

Incorrect time shown on 7975 v8.4.1 + CME 7.1
Hello
I'm setting up some new phones 7975G with firmware 8.4 (1) (SCCP75.8 - 4-1) and I noticed that the clock in the upper left corner is disabled by + 6 hours. I have other phones (7960's) which displays the correct time. Does anyone know of a fix for this?
Thanks in advance,
Brandon
Hi Brandon,.
The 7975 works differently from the 7960's :)
Troubleshooting Incorrect time stamp on Cisco Unified CME IP phones
http://www.Cisco.com/en/us/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucme/troubleshooting/guide/ts_time.html#wp1053981
After you change the time zone setting, you can do the following.
Operating instructions
This command works with the section vendorConfig of the Sep*.conf.xml configuration file, which is read by the firmware of the phone when the Cisco IP Phone is started. Some phones, like the Cisco Unified IP Phone 7906, 7911, 7931, 7941, 7942, 7945, 7961, 7962, 7965, 7970, 7971 and 7975, get the time coordinated universal (UTC) of the clock of the Cisco router. To display the correct local time, the time on the phones display must be compensated by using this command.
This command is not required for Cisco Unified IP Phone 7902 G, 7905 G, 7912 G, 7920, 7921, 7935, 7936, 7940, 7960 or 7985 G.
For the changes made to the time zone in effect settings, the Sep*.conf.xml file must be updated using the command of cnf-files create and Cisco IP phones have restarted using the reset command.
http://www.Cisco.com/en/us/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucme/command/reference/cme_t1ht.html#wp1023398
According to the telephony service.
No create cnf-files
create a cnf files
Restart individual phones :)
This is really covered nicely by Paul in this thread :)

We have done all the basic configurations, we can call each other extensions and we can call lines
and also we can receive incoming calls directly to the operator on extension of 400.
now, we want to add presence Auto, can someone help us?
Thank you
Hello.
As an auto attendant, you can use basic automatic call Distribution which consists on a script tcl that runs on your voice gateway.
You must download a package from Download Center of Cisco that contains the mentioned script and audio files needed to make it work.
This is a doc explaining how it works and how to implement it
http://www.Cisco.com/c/en/us/TD/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucme/BACD/configurat...
Hope this Helps

Conference CME v9 SLBA Adhoc (more than 3 games) for SIP phones 99xx
HI, does anyone know if MultiPary Adhoc Conference for more than 3 parties for SIP phones (like 9951) is supported in CME v9?
I have a GUY working with CSPC and SIP phones. Conference to several ad-hoc (with more than 3 parties) works perfectly when it is generated from phone SCCP. But when he tries to do so with a SIP phone (9951) it can only do the 3 participants.
I suspect it is not supported, no one knows for sure?
I have enabled hardware Conference. Just in case, here is the config:

Call Manager Express ATA187 Firmware update
Hello
I recorded with Call Manager Express 9.0 to ATA187 but I have a problem for outgoing calls using DTMF, I tried to put dtmf-relay into the pool of register of voice but without success, so I decided to update the firmware.
the problem when you go to download page you will find a .zip to the file not as before managing the .zup file and the upgrade of the firmware for the express appeal not found in any document because there is no way to upgrade through phones analgo
No idea how upgade using any way?
Hi mrmhar1408,
You must upgrade the ATA 187 for the latest firmware SIP (9.2.3) using this load file, ATA187.9 - 2-3 - 1.loads. It is in the zip file available on the download section of cisco.com to the ATA-187, the name of the zip file is cmterm - ata187.9 - 2-3 - 1.zip.
The process of upgrading of the ATA and SIP phones 187 s in SIP via CME are listed here. The process is essentially the same for phones and ATAs.
Note that you must also have the load the copied file first in memory flash TFTP server, that would be your router CME flash.
HTH.
Kind regards
Stefano.

Fake H710p PERC? -Firmware upgrade error
Hallo,
I recently bought a DELL PERC's H710p to the address but I can't update the firmware or install the driver. I always get an error like:
"No controllers present or detected."First I thought that this is because the PERC H710p is not supported on a DELL R710 server. But after some research, I found something weird.
The reason why the update of the firmware fails is simply the fact, that the "SUBDEV = 1f38" required when updating cannot be fond. My 'H710p' has a different SUBDEV. His SUBDEV is 1f77. So my question is, I bought some controller "false"?
If this is not a 'fake' controller, what should I do to update my H710p and how to install the drivers?
Thank you

CLSput the FW = 21.0.2 - 0002
Set ROM = H710PAWS.rom
SUBDEV = 1f77 set

Where can I find Firmware Restoration CD 1.3 to download?
I need to reflash an old Mac Mini. Through documentation of the Web site located at Firmware Restoration CD 1.4, it said I needed to download the Firmware Restoration CD 1.3, which does not exist. Anyone know where I can find it?
Firmware Restoration CD 1.4 - Apple Support is the first thing that appears on a Google search.

Firmware update failed, TC is now unavailable and no led light
Found my TC this morning flashing yellow, found a FW update was available, clicked on update, downloaded FW but then he could not update and now TC is unavailable, I tried to reboot, but still no TC, before LED is off even on/after power on.
How to treat?
How to treat?
Time Capsule 802.11n (4th Gen)
The symptoms are typical of a Gen 4 TC... so thanks for putting this info in your profile.
The new firmware is not the problem... However, the drop of water that makes the vase overflow. Your TC underwent a total failure due to bad soldering... the attempt of the update was this slight element of stress which caused the catastrophic failure.
If you are a handyman, there is a fix... It of free... and set up to present enough to say that I am fairly confident with your symptoms, it will fix it.

I will get my first pair of hearing aids,2 961 LiNX RIE, 20 Sept. Pending this installation, I did my homework, including by participating in these forums of Apple on this topic. Firmware seems to be a recurring topic here I'm worried.
It seems that there is always a period to shake, with a lot of messages on the Bluetooth connectivity issues with updates of firmware sometimes correcting a problem. While only cautiously optimistic, I want to be proactive in avoiding problems for my first experience of hearing aid in getting firmware updates as quickly as possible. Who needs to address my concern that, with regularly updated iOS updated to Apple (the last being downloaded 9.3.5 recently), connectivity can glitch again until an updated required corresponding firmware applies to my hearing aid (or vice versa).
I don't expect my audiologist to warn me when a new firmware is available. I also searched sounding site and do not see the links to all the pages that show the current version of the firmware, or all the instructions telling me how to check if my hearing aids have this latest version of the firmware. (Yes, I will ask my audiologist which version I get in the original timeline.)
I look forward to the improvements to the web site and possible Smart app where it just would not confirm if my hearing aids are up to date, but it is also possible to download and apply updates firmware for hearing aids via the Bluetooth connection, rather than an appointment to audiologist. In the meantime, I'm looking for a way to get automatically notified (perhaps a list of electronic distribution to consumers and professionals) when firmware updates are ready to apply, with confirmation what version of iOS is required for compatibility with this firmware.
Comments?
This looks like a "problem of sound" - they will be able to tell you how to check the firmware version, how to use their app and if they support the user after the updated and changes or additions to their software.
I suggest you seek their support site, forums, or use their contact information as a last resort. They know more about all the things you want instead of Apple users who help out here.
In regard to updates to iOS, look in "" settings > iTunes and app store ", uncheck"Updates"to stop the automatic updates of operating system." You can do the same for apps if you want to really too much manual control over them. You should read the release notes and comments to work if the updates will change anything that you depend on.
P.S., wait and see if others can help here too

Hello
I recently changed the password for the connection on my main account on my MBPro and added a firmware password, but that doesn't seem to work properly: whenever I reboot Keychain keeps asking me to access the local keychain and all iCloud apps are disabled. I also have problems with pictures. FYI my boot HD is encrypted with FileVault.
I put details on the issues below, as well as what I tried so far (based on the collected suggestions from these forums) as well as some newspapers Console elements that seem strange.
I don't know how to proceed at this point that some options might make things worse if not done does not correctly (or in the right sequence). I'm tempted to disable Firmware password, go back to the old password, or turn off FileVault to see if the problems goes, but I'm afraid it might make things worse (and I would like to have these features runs later). I also have the opportunity to reinstall the OS and return to a previous TimeMachine upward.
I would appreciate anyone's help on this one.
Thank you very much.

Plug
MBPro Core i5 2.7 Ghz 13 "retina
16 GB RAM 256 GB SSD + 2 TB external HD.
Mac OS X 10.11.16 (15-1004)
FileVault is running on the boot disk (SSD).
Firmware password has been set.
I have a Time Machine backup (on a second external hard drive).
I installed a functional copy of Mac OS X on an external hard drive 3.
I do not use iCloud keychain.
I have another admin account that works.
Problems:
(1) Keychain: whenever I start the CommCenter ask the session keyring password (I must then enter the previous admin password).
I wonder then if I want to update the local keyring: to do this I have to enter my new login password in the "current password" and then I type the same new password fields. Once I reboot the problem reappears: exactly the same sequence, as if the information could not stick. Might have something to do with the FileVault and Firmware password.
(2) iCloud: after having rebooted and enter my passwords from keychain as described above, none of the iCloud applications work (email, Messages, Contacts, calendars, reminders, Notes, find my Mac, iCloud drive, etc.).
He tells me tells me he is not able to connect to iCloud and asked me to try to do it in the preferences panel. When I tried to connect there, he couldn't connect to iCloud and told to try again later.
(3) photos: at the launch of Photos he says he cannot open the library system and propose to choose a. When I choose the right pair, it opens fine, but a ton of photos are most referenced correctly. All images come my an external HD (the iPhoto library is also on the same HD), and nothing has changed in the structure of folders.
What I tried (after the Time Machine).
1. I installed Mac OS was last updated.
2 - I activated the guest account and tried to connect: it only works Safari.
3. I logged in using another admin account: no problem with Keychain and all iCloud apps work. Not tried Photo since this account is not a library and is not configured for access to the main account.
4. I tried to boot into safe mode: is not work (might have something to do with the password FileVault and Firmware).
5-return to the main account I ran disk help and fixed permissions: discs seem to be ok.
6. in the key string App I locked and unlocked keychain using the lock in the upper left corner of the application. When asked for my password I just typed my user password. When I rebooted I had the same problems.
7. I've tried updated the password in the keychain app by entering the old password and then my new password for connection in the other two fields (new password and confirm). Still problems with iCloud and after restart I have the same problems of Keychain.
8 - I tried resetting my default keychain: I got an error, because I don't have the permission to do so.
9 - I tried to create a new keychain session and making it the default keychain, but I keep getting the same problems (iCloud does work does not + issues of password even after I reload).
10 - iCloud: I tried to close the session from iCloud, then enter my iCloud ID and password, but it says no more: it cannot connect or that the Mac is already connected to this account. I closed the session again, iCloud used Safari to manage my AppleID (https://appleid.apple.com/), listed devices associated with and my MacBook off the list: I always have the same questions even after reboot. I even tried to delete the iCloud account since the Internet Accounts preferences panel, but it is not listed. I tried to add it, but he said that the Mac is already connected.
11. in Terminal, I glued the special order in some discussions (find ~ $TMPDIR..------(-+ flags sappnd, uappnd, schg, uchg o! - user $UID o! - perm - 600-) 2 > & -| wc-l | pbcopy) and got 21 to 22, and a result the first time earlier.
12 - looking at logs just console after reboot, I see a couple of things that seem odd that appear multiple times with slight variations (I paste only an example):

Keychain Access application for Keychain "login" after changing the password
The problems of Keychain - see post of khati
OS X always ask to use your passwords in keychain
Try to go into System Preferences/iCloud and stop synchronization. Wait a few minutes, then recheck the timing.
Have you tried the signature to iCloud and then reconnect?

An error occurred during the update the firmware.

If this is not the case, already, connect your iMac to AirPort Extreme with an Ethernet cable. On the iMac, make sure that Ethernet is enabled and disabled WiFi (or next to). Then try to use the utility AirPort again try the update of the firmware.

I said that there is an update of the firmware available for my 3 t time capsule. I get the message "an error occurred when downloading". How to find the problem? I have elcapitan 10.11.6 and capsule version 7.7.3
Try temporarily, connect your MacBook Pro to your Time Capsule using an Ethernet connection... If not already, then try downloading the firmware again.

Why my internet connection dies? I use a VPN to my internet at home. I put the DNS numbers supplied by the company VPN in my airPort extreme, which, in turn, provides wireless for home. It worked perfectly until I updated to firmware 7.7.7. Suddenly the green light next to the 'internet' in airport Utility icon went Brown, and it is therefore most all internet. I put numbers in DNS to my ISP, and internet provider is displayed again. All the other numbers in DNS, whether it's Google, OpenDNS or VPN to stop the dead from the internet. Anyone has an idea about this?
Airport base stations, are at best, a VPN-well past that device. It is a server or a VPN client. Upgrade to the latest firmware does not change this fact.
To create a VPN tunnel using the AirPort Express Terminal, your computer must be running a VPN client that connects to a VPN server somewhere on the Internet. What DNS servers you use should make no difference with VPN.
If the ISP-supplied DNS servers do not work, I would say that you contact your ISP to find out why they don't allow you to use them.
What we need to study is more why you lose Internet connectivity when changing the DNS servers of your ISP. Please check with them and to report back, then we can try to help.
