  Keith, the 'create an account' link on iOS is in the 'Account' dialog box, under the button "connect". iOS is the only application that has a dialog account, because iOS has a few other configuration options to manage the different store not present scenarios on other platforms.   My USB devices are not recognized, the only ones to be recognized are my mouse and keyboard. Each device is powered (motherboard works fine), but Windows 7 isn't their read (although sometimes I'll get a code 43). I have the latest chipset.

  I tried right click and uninstall each device and rebooted the computer. Nothing has fixed this.

  My external hard drive, ipod and other devices that involve the transfer of data seem to ONLY get power and nothing else.

  It is not material because all my devices work on my laptop. Also my motherboard works fine (it's the 2nd RMA) and it has been tested at the factory to make sure of him.

  e. restart the computer. After the computer starts, Windows will automatically check for changes on the hardware and reinstall all USB controllers that you uninstalled.

  I would also ask you to contact the manufacturer of the computer to help.

  ICloud unfortunately not work the way you think.  It's not a traditional based cloud backup platform, and what you are thinking and should consider if you are looking to free up space on your devices, are a third-party application like Dropbox, Flickr or Google Photos.

  I did a few tests more and found that you were right. Those aren't of card readers, USB keys. I have created a new opening of session and that they weren't there until I used one of the front USB ports, then all 4 appeared. Weird, but then I was never connected to my PC card readers. [Used to use the punch key machine to create games of cards, but that's another story.]

  The items you listed are real items used by your operating system, although they can be stopped if you want without making any real damage. This will largely depend on if you want to use all functions in which they are involved.

  For example, TCtrllOhook.exe and TPSMain.exe are associated with the Toshiba power management utility.

  Ltmoh.exe and AGRSMMSG.exe are you installed the modem.

  Apoint.exe is associated with you pointing device (Touchpad or other).

  TFncKY.exe is related to the function of function keys of Toshiba.

  Of course, if you do not use your internal modem then the modem associated elements can be stopped without any bad Effect, even Toshiba function keys.

  G ' Day, I have a ProBook s 4740 and after taking the laptop to the site, when I'm home and plugged things back, by pressing the power button would see it for a few seconds and then od light out. The LED above the power would have flashes once and then turns off. Needless to say, it would not start up.

  After a lot of frustration, I found that by unplugging all (wired Ethernet and USB devices) and by pressing the power button it would start up and even when starting I could plug the devices and everything is OK.

  I had to return to the site today and when I came back again, it wouldn't power up until I unplugged the USB devices. USB devices are external hard drives only, all running through a powered USB hub.

  This configuration has worked without any problems for wells in the year I've had the ProBook.

  This could be the cause?

  After downloading the BIOS update, I decided to wait until I had a break in things until I applied it. Then around one hour before, I saw the red exclamation mark on the HP Support Assistant in the taskbar. Open it, there was an update of the available BIOS, so I decided to let him do.   I hate doing these updates that work at the machine code level where if things go wrong, they can go horribly wrong.

  This has never happened before, and, no, I have not recently downloaded new applications, programs, updates or had a system crash. It was, as usual, a few things. Where it says "to find a driver for this device, click Update driver" which is non-interactive. I can see it, but you can't click on it. That's happened? What should I do?

  PCI stands for Peripheral Component Interconnect. It's an industry standard bus to connect devices to a computer.

  A serial port is a serial communication physical through transfers of information inside or outside a bit at a time. The term "serial port" usually identifies hardware more or less conforms to the RS-232 standard, designed to interface with a modem or a similar communication device. The serial port used to be widely used to connect to a variety of devices external and is essentially a two-way communication port. There are still devices using a serial port connection. These are often marked as RS232 and would include devices such as TELEVISION receiver cable boxes.

  The PCI of Simple Communications controller is a generic label given by Windows for PCI cards installed in a PC when the drivers for the device are not installed.

  You probably received this error because you have not installed the driver for your PCI device.

  If your computer came with a motherboard driver disc, put the CD in and install the chipset drivers from Device Manager browse the CD. This would update the drivers for those devices.

  Steps to follow:

  a. right click on the entry in the Device Manager and select Properties.

  b. in the driver tab updated some drivers.

  c. Select Browse my computer for driver software.

  d. click on browse and look for DVD player option.

  e. follow the instructions on the screen and restart the computer after installing the drivers.

  If you don't have the motherboard drivers CD then please download and install the chipset drivres for the manufacturer's website.

  I followed this post to another thread and it works:

  I chose to upgrade my Sony Viao VPCJ12LPOE (desktop all-in-one computer) from Windows 7 to Windows 8.  The compatibility of Windows 8 Checker advised that I should I uninstall the drviers of Bluetooth of Broadcom (Widcomm) Windows 7 because they are incompatible.

  After the upgrade to Windows 8, while the rest worked fine but I was left without means to connect Bluetooth devices to my PC. (a problem reported elsewhere in these forums.

  I applied the following fix today and everything now works fine.

  Bluetooth is an on-board unit that need compatible drivers Windows 8.

  To repeat: I've updated two days ago and suffered the loss of my Bluetooth after having been advised to uninstall the driver Broadcom (Widdcomm) before the upgrade.

  Today I installed Windows 8 compatible Broadcom Bluetooth driver from Lenovo web page (see link below) and since, I've added the following blue tooth devices successfully to my PC which is now running Windows 8 (all now the connection): my IPhone 4s, my IPad 3, my Panasonic music with IPod/IPhone docking station Center and my Lumia 800 Windows Phone works.

  Copy and paste this link into your browser and download and install the Bluetooth Driver for Broadcom (R) s1blt3us17.exe listed.

  You will then see the icon Bluetooth appears in your task bar in the lower right of the desktop you after a reboot.  Right click and select "add a Bluetooth device".  This will take you to the page of 'Device' in Windows 8.  Turn the unit that you wish to be added in the coupling mode and click on the + button of the unit.

  Once added, stay patient and not go clicking around until windows has installed device drivers (progress bar blue small will appear under the name of the device).

  Once completed, you find a new TILE will add on Windows 8 "splash screen" for each unit added.  Click on the tile for the device and the "set Bluetooth will start and appear on your screen.  From there, you will see the device you just added, and you can click on 'connect' (to link) and "disconnect" (to disconnect once connected).
