Code 43 Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems
In fact, my PC does not recognize my GoGear Opus MP3 player (or an iPod nano). However, I use a keyboard and a USB mouse for now without a problem. I had this same problem on this PC when I got Vista. I upgraded to 7 hoping that this problem would be solved, but it's still there.
On this issue, people seem to have two separate problems.

I have a computer with dual nvidia geforce 8800 gt graphics card graphics cards, but I recently started getting the following in my device manager error message: "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43) »
I started getting this message out of the blue after moving from my computer to another room. I knowingly did not change anything on my PC and have been released for about 2.5 years with no real problems to speak of her. I tried to uninstall and reinstall the latest driver from nvidia and had no luck. I don't have access to the nvidia due to the device being disabled control panel. Also I tried to restore my PC to a previous save point with no luck as well. A short reading on nvidia forums led me to try a registry scan and repair, but alas it was without result.
Any advice on what could be the cause of the problem and the best solution would be greatly appreciated.
Hi rd,.
You could try to remove one of the cards, then update the driver.
They should use the same driver and may be coflicting at startup.
You should also check the power supply if it is a few years old.
Also make sure it is off enough electricity for the installation of the split card.

Hello
Welcome to the Microsoft community.
I can understand that the windows computer is unable to recognize the iPhone 5 and when you try to check in the Device Manager it prompt the error "unknown device" with error code 43.
This must be due to the problem with hardware drivers or a device in the system.
The code 43 error means that Device Manager will stop a hardware device, because the material reported to Windows that is having some sort of problem not specified.
I need some clarification from your end to refine the question.
1. what security software is installed?

2. click on the hardware tab.
3. click the Device Manager button.

5 right-click every device under the Bus USB controllers node and then click on uninstall to remove them one at a time.

In my device manager, in graphics cards, for my AMD Radeon 7500,7600 M graphics card in the series, the properties display the following error message:
"Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43) »I uninstalled the drivers and reinstalled them - it's the 12.104.0.0 version, which I have confirmed is the last. I have the Catalyst Control Center installed as well.
Can someone help me understand this error? Why would he stop? What would be my next steps to try to solve it?
See you soon,.

Hi thanks for trying, but the Dell drivers are those which deal with the problem of restart.
I find the most recent driver Intel HD 4000 (Win64_15313_intel) and installed version, then I installed the latest drivers AMD (13-4_mobility_win7_win8_64_dd_ccc_whql_AMD) on the site of AMD. This solved my problems and my graphics card works fine now.
So yes, just repeat those it tells me to install when I get my serial number and OS (Windows 7) were:
Intel: 5423_Video_Driver_T6XGJ_WN_8.15.10.2669_A02
AMD: 5423_Video_Driver_VGR24_WN_8.951.9.0_A02
And these caused problems without end - the graphics card would not work, and then when I installed drivers from AMD, Dell, it would cause my system to reboot every 2 or 3 minutes. It looked like some kind of incompatibility between the two graphics cards and the drivers provided.
The other representative of Dell told me the same thing that you - so I wanted to post my solution in case anyone else has this problem.

My 4 GB USB shows this error "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43) ». How do slove this problem pls tell me
Try the USB device on another computer. If you get the same error in another computer, then the unit has probably missed and the files that it contains are lost.

I have Windows 7 Ultimate. Recently an unknown device keeps popping up in the device manager every time that I start to win. It is reported the location is in the front USB hub, but I haven't changed it anything lately. The device status says "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems (Code 43)". I can uninstall or disable it but it will get picked up again the next time that I reboot. All other usb devices (mouse, keyboard, webcam, UPS APC, external hard drive, printer) work very well. How can I get rid of this nuisance so that it is not reappear?
If the problem coincided with connecting the inverter APC that may indicate the problem is with the inverter.
Somewhat similar situation discussed in the following link:
http://www.velocityreviews.com/forums/t527369-APC-ups-USB-as-unknown-device.html
Your situation sounds similar as "Information system" leading the 'problem of the device' has an error Code "this device is working properly" but still "unknown device".
I would say to detach from the APC UPS of the computer and uninstall any software related.
Restart the computer and see if the "Unknown device" problem resolves.

I need help to be able to reuse the disk. The drive is not displayed when inserted or displayed in Device Manager. Problem started when it was deleted without being stopped properly first. Arrive in a Vista machine. Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43). I download programs to repair files and other things with Microsoft Partners do not anything to solve this problem. Any help will be appreciated. I've caused the problem, but is the difficulty of it.
Try to put the device in another computer. If you get the same message, then it looks like you have destroyed it by unplugging it wrong. It doesn't happen often, but you would not be the first person that I heard what is happening to.

Original title: Code 43 problem
iPod is no longer detected when plugged to the USB port. Instead, I get the following error message: "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43) »
Crisis averted! On another head shot... I thought that maybe the problem could be in the sync cable since the Apple store employee had no problem with the iPod. I bought a new cable and the computer immediately recognized my iPod. The old cable is now in the trash.
Thank you for your help.

Original title: Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43) ».
Hi, I have a storage device 'Transcend', but when I connect it it gives me "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43) »
. in the last ididnt have had problems with this unit. what I can do.
Shirly
Hello
1. What is the brand and model of the device of Transcend storage?
2. other USB devices work on your computer?
Error code 43 indicates that one of the motors controlling the unit notified the operating system that the device failed in some way.
Method 1:
Step 1:
I suggest you try plug the storage device Transcend to another computer and check if it works.
Step 2:
Also, try to connect the Transcend storage device on another USB port and check if it's work (which you know are working perfectly).
Method 2:
You can run the diagnostic Fixit tool. Check out the following link.
Hardware devices do not work or are not detected in Windows http://support.Microsoft.com/mats/hardware_device_problems/
Method 3:
You can check after uninstalling and reinstalling the USB controller. Follow the steps.
(a) click Start and then click Control Panel.
(b) click System and Maintenance, click System, and then click Device Manager.
Note: If Control Panel is in Classic view, double-click System and then click on Device Manager.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click on allow.
(c) in Device Manager, double-click to expand the "USB Bus controllers", right click on the controller host, click "Uninstall" and click "OK".
Check that if at all, there is an exclamation point on the pilot, it suggests problems with the installed driver.
(d) repeat step 2 to uninstall all items under 'USB Bus controllers'.
Then, restart your computer and Windows 7 will automatically reinstall all USB controllers.

(running windows 7 x 64 and not changed all my pc hardware so everything on the Web page is true)in any case, when I try to plug my mouse optical usb in the port of e/s (usb port) on the front panel (which supports usb 2.0) a notification pops up saying
"one of the usb devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned and windows does not recognize it. Help to solve this problem, click this message. "
so I click it and and called up pop-up windows
"the usb device not recognize."
display 1 unknown device. Link to the image: http://img38.imageshack.us/img38/3579/usbdevicenotrecognizewi.jpg
Then I double click on it, next pop up another window called "unknown device properties" and under "device status", he said:
"Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43) »
Link to the image: http://img204.imageshack.us/img204/8597/unknowndeviceproperties.jpgAlso the same things happen when I plug in usb, keyboard , but not when I plug a flashdrive usb 2.0 without notification or anything pop up.
Here's what I'm trying to fix it but ended up with saying it was installing the device, installation failed and getting the error failed and unrecognized again...
- Plug my optical mouse on my other ports and it works perfectly fine (to see if its working)
- Plug the mouse (in the wrong port), went to Device Manager and uninstall the unknown device, reboot with usb plug in and have the connection to the internet (not decided)
- Uninstall all devices under USB bus controllers in the Manager device and rebooted with mouse in internet connection (not decided)
- Went to device manager expanded bus controllers USB right-click on power management all the device label "usb root hub" click and uncheck the box "allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" and reboot (do not set)
- Open the normal startup in msconfig (system configuration) selected and restarted (did not set)
- Shut down the computer, disconnect the plug, unplug all the devices connected to all IO ports (usb port specifically) and my desktop pc has left alone for an hour and a half and start it to the top after with everything back plug (mouse in the wrong port) (has not set)
Note: when the mouse is connected to the usb port it is light on substance, but its does not (not flashing do not and when you move, mouse is frozen on the monitor)
