  I'm having a problem with my card mother dx58so and sound.  The speaker beside clock icon has a red X.  He says that there is no audio output device installed. When I go into Device Manager it isis is not even an option to extend a audio, video and game controllers. It is completely absent.  I've updated to a vista 64 SP2.  I also tried to install the drivers from microsoft, intel realtek and realtek themselves.  I called intel and had them go through everything with me also including enable/disable in the bios, updaste chipset, bios, drivers.  They also had me uninstall the driver that is at this time the audio, video and game controllers disappeared.  Any help would be great, otherwise I'll probabley try to reformatt HDD and reinstall windows.

  Hi all

  As the title suggests when I click on "for Audio/video on the Internet" nothing happens.  It seems that the icon has also changed.  I tried to look around this problem without success.  I would appreciate any assistance.

  Plaase excuse my ignorance, but it is "for Audio/video on the Internet", a program or command in a browser (maybe an add-on)?  What is doing?  Have you checked that the http://www.microsoft.com/windows/compatibility/windows-vista/Default.aspx Vista Compatibility Center to ensure that the program / module is compatible with Vista and/or Internet Explorer? If so, please provide the web site of the program (link) so we can search more far - I couldn't find using Bing (which is unusual).  The fact that it has an icon indicates it is a program.

  What was the program installed and when its last function properly (and have the correct icon)?  Do you know when this problem started?  Try a system restore to a point in time BEFORE the problem started.  Here is the procedure: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/using-windows-vista-system-restore/.  Don't forget to check the box to show more than 5 days of restore points.  If the first attempt fails, then try an earlier point or two.  NOTE: You will need to re - install any software and updates that you have installed between now and the restore point, but you can use Windows Update for updates.

  Right-click on the icon and click Properties.  On the general tab, it's a file with a path - what is this parth?  Go to this path in Windows Explorer and check to see if it exists and if it contains all of the files/programs. If it is there, so we know at least that the program is on the system even if the icon does not work.  Go to the executable main real within the program and create a new shortcut icon and move whenever the icon currently exists and see if this new icon works and it solved the problem.  If this is not the case, try to do a right-click on the icon and click on run as administrator to see if you have a better chance.

  How to insert pictures...

  For the timeline, drag a second copy of the video to Audio / Music
  follow and drag it left or right to align on the Audio track.

  Then right-click / mute the Audio track.

  Now, you can split the video anywhere you want... CTRL + L... and delete
  a section... then insert a Photo and give it the same length as the
  segment you removed.

  Here's another method:

  Split your video clip on each side of the area where will be the stills.

I record meetings for my work and I have copies on my computer via CDBurner program. I tried to use the Roxio program that came with the new computer, but it won't work, he continues to show the "Failure" and then the drive is bad and I can't reuse it... so now I have a trash can full of blank DVD + R Verbatim discs, bad. It's the only brand I use. I tried to copy the file to the good drive directly to the computer, but it comes out as an ISO file and I have nothing that will burn this type of file. Was told to check to see if your settings are RAID or something else... then it change IDE... several other unnecessary responses simply refer to the third burners... which none have worked. (IMGBUrn, CDBurner and another) the problem seems to me that this is a Windows 7, a setting on my computer or something. I JUST want to be able to get a DVD I recorded it (it is not copyright protected), stick it in my computer and copy. Nothing illegal or difficult.

  Adding additional video clips in the middle of the project works very well with the alt key as the video 1 and audio 1 move together.

  Unfortunately, you have to decide whether you want the new clip to insert. You can set the ripple to insert on a timeline and not other chronologies of ripple.

  If you don't hold down the CTRL key, the clip will insert you place - but it will break your piece of music.
