Codecs required Indeo - IV50

Intel Indeo codecs required for notice with the IV50 codec.  Please recommend sources of work.  I tried two:

IV5setup.exe - does not install codecs work
codinstl.exe - seems to be sleeping for an hour before installing

These codecs should be integrated not?  Yes, my Windows 7 is completely up-to-date.

Thank you
David

How can I get Nitro PC installed properly, so it does not say that he may not support a file or the required codec, which it does in Windows Media Player, everything seems to go through there and Nitro prevents me from opening photos or electronic-mail/transfer their. Also, what are the appropriate programs to run files in the documents library and photos. recently, I lost all my documents, the files are there but now empty. It happened a little while before had spoken, by buying the GoFlex Seagate plug of iYogi I was stupid enough to buy their storys. Now that I told them that I used to pay $ 400 to renew my contract, which has more than a year and a half left in this regard that they were still treat me worse than ever. I even bought a program that is supposed to protect your bank account, but only have a debit card which they protect not only credit cards, it was not even mentioned in the contract or the sales pitch. The Seagate GoFlex is sitting here unplugged after that they could not challenge or whatever it is to recover after at least 4 attempts. Brief this cowboy got scalped, but if I can get the Nitro to block all my stuff I would be off to a good start to correct things. Also, I had a printer that was supposed to be a fax with all sorts of other gadgets they had me plug with a wire and wireless and never had to use the fax once and continue receiving invalid messages when I try to put in place something like snapfish, which seems to be an automatic link to my set of requirements. I'm lost.

  • Codec required - DNxHD 145 MXF 1920 x 1080

I'm starting to provide images for a broadcaster, who gave me a laptop to produce clips (using catalyst prepare). After using the first Pro (CS6) for a number of years and also need to work on the clips I produce another reason (sports highlights), I really don't want to have to use 2 machines and 2 packets of different softwares - especially when all I need for catalyst is a rather simple copy / paste into Prem Pro.

The problem is the broadcaster that he need the codec of DNxHD 145 MXF 1920 x 1080 - 50i

It's not (that I can see) a Premier Pro standard codec. A few similar, but they do not provide the quality required for broadcasting (and their FTP servers check the correct codecs used, otherwise, they reject the upload).

Doing some research, I can this Download of Codecs Avid 2.3.7 page which I thought would be the answer. Download the software (and run it of course!) and should the DNxHD 145 to appear, but he has not (looking in the MXF OP1a format). Read that I may need to disable the Premier Pro, so actually it and re-recorded, but no luck.

Any suggestions? It could save me hours a week, which would be very much appreciated

OK - found the DNxHD under Quicktime format and had a response of the diffuser.

Quote "you must use the DNX120 option. The guy who designed the catalyst used only American options for labeling of codec. When dealing with materials 50i catalyst actually creates a DNX120 file. There are only 8-bit options for 120 and it's very good that you are shooting only 8 bit video. Do not forget that we need a MXF not a MOV. »

  • Missing Codec required or not file type supported

    First Elements 7.

I try to import a simple sound effect of a *.au file.

Before any not the file, saying: "this file type is not supported, or the required codec is not installed. (see attached screenshot).

What can I do about it?

Remember this audio editor, Audacity, I linked in another thread? It will open. To THE files and then allow you to save (convert) to WAV.

While the PrE can treat a lot of different file formats (and of the CODEC), it can not handle all. Even with the video. I highly recommend that you enter a workflow, where any audio, which is not PCM/WAV, convert to PCM/WAV before importing the file. It's the same thing with video - convert into something that meadow can work easily with.

This method solves a lot of problems and will generally decrease overhead that the program needs to work.

    Hello Christina,

Believe it or not.  Windows Movie Maker does not support the format .mpeg video.  You will need to do a web search for a converter that converts the .mpeg to a different file type.  IE .wmv .avi etc.

I would recommend going to www.download.com and typing free mpeg converter in the search list.  It is a good secure site.

The .cda file format is not supported by windows media player. You may need to make use of a third party application for converting .cda to a format supported by the Director file.

.. which program is the best to use to get the codec...

Codec is the abbreviation of compression and decompression of that particular video file.

I recommend one of the K-Lite codec packages available here to download and install. The regular package should be enough, but you can opt for the full package. An alternative that I also found useful is the package of codec on the Shark009.net site.

Once you have downloaded the package on your computer, you can right-click on the installation. EXE and run as administrator to avoid any problems with the installation.
