ColdFusion 9 certified developer study guide

I find a large number of downloads of software (at a cost of course) for the ColdFusion Certification.  Can someone help me with the best route to go for ColdFusion 9 certification preparation and how they have prepared for it.  Advice on the preparation of the trial and the trial itself.  I found a book entitled, "ColdFusion MX 7 Certified Developers Study Guide", but nothing about CF8 and CF9.  Do you think that this book would be beneficial in preparing the CF9 certification?  Any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated.  If anyone out there has received their certification yet and if so how many time you must devote to prepare for the exam. Thank you.

Who is on site. Don't worry with the CF8 guide as there is nothing here that isn't in the CF9 one. Read the sections 'ColdFusion functions' and 'ColdFusion tags', as well as the reference 'Application.cfc '. That should give you a grounded just in the review.

  • Wrong answer in 1Z0-497-review-study guide?

    Good day to everyone!

Recently, I got a bit confused in preparing for the exam 1Z0-497. One of the questions in the official examination (http://www.oracle.com/partners/en/knowledge-zone/database/oracle-database-11g/db12c-exam-study-guide-2202720.pdf section 8) Study Guide is:

You are about to install Oracle Database Enterprise Edition 12 c. Which statement is true?

    A. you must not install the software of Oracle database in an existing home to Oracle from a different version.

    B. a shared data base of container (CDB) may have several pluggable databases (PDB) with different character sets.

    C. oracle recommends that you save the root.sh script after completing the installation.

    D. cloning an Oracle home is useful if you perform several installations of the Oracle database.

    E. you can stop the existing process of the Oracle, including the listener and the database running the Oracle home, before installing the database software.

The answer in the Student Guide is 'B '.

But according to "Oracle® Database Globalization Support Guide 12 c Release 1 (12,1) E41669-05" (tochoose a character set) Chapter 2, "in the database Oracle 12call containers of a shared data base of container (CDB) must have the same database character set and the same national character set." In other words, all the databases-ins (PDB) in a CBD should have the same character as the root container of the BDC. "That certanly means that option"B"is wrong, isn't it?

Therefore, in my opinion, the answer 'A' is correct.

Could someone clarify me this, can be caused that I'm bad and missed something.

    Thank you.

Are you sure that you posted the question correctly?

You are about to install Oracle Database Enterprise Edition 12 c. Which statement is true?

The question should read: which statement is NOT true?

All responses are true, EXCEPT the option b. B is NOT true for the quote or the reason you condition.

Of course the answer E is correct. You can certainly stop all these processes, whenever you want, including PRIOR to installation.

See the installation Guide for database for why options A and C are also correct:

    Cloning an Oracle Home

Cloning of an Oracle home is to create a copy of the Oracle home, and then configure it to a new environment. If you perform several installations of the Oracle database, you can use this method to create each Oracle home, because the copy of the files of an existing installation of the Oracle database takes less time than the creation of a new version of them. This method is also useful if the Oracle home you're cloning had patches applied to him. When you clone the Oracle home, the new Oracle home has updates to fix.

Tasks after installation of Oracle databases

8.3.1 creating a protection of the root.sh Script

Oracle recommends that you save the root.sh after performing an installation script. If you install other products in the same directory, Oracle, Oracle Universal Installer will update the value of the existing root.sh script installation. If you need information in the original root.sh script, then you can recover it from the backup to the top root.sh file.

Option 2: when you first load the page that displays the PDF image in your screenshot, you briefly see a toolbar displayed at the low ERS of the window of the browser (I'm using Chrome). There is an icon back on the toolbar. Click on that and save the file to your hard drive.

  • Fact reading ACE certification study guides help me understand photoshop?

There are many tutorials online teaching people how to do this and that; but for a beginner like me, the biggest problem is, I can follow the recipes, but most of the time, I do not understand the reason behind them. I wonder if these things will become more obvious and intuitive if I first fundamental knowledge tools.

Adobe seems to give certification exams.  I wonder if it would be useful to buy a study guide review and read it through (not necessarily go for the certification).  All the world does?  This guide is the best? Or do these guides are just more advanced revenue without explaining anything either?

I suggest you look at Adobe classroom in a book Photoshop CS5, Adobe Press.

He did a good job to share the 'why', almost as much as the "how". I think that too many books and tutorials skip the why, while focusing on the how. Many of the ACE questions come the examination material of chapter, which takes the form of Q & A.

    Good luck

  • Contradiction in the developer's Guide of what is instance?

    Hello!

Page 16 of developer guide it is said that the structure of the URL is following

    Protocol: [//host] [: port] [INSTANCENAME] /appname/

But earlier on this page, he was told that

The NetConnection class to connect a client to an instance of the application on the server.

    and gave an example

    var nc:NetConnection = new NetConnection();

    NC. Connect ("rtmp://localhost/HelloServer");

When the connect directive contains no instance name.

So, how do they relate? The instance name is just omitted in example feel _definst_?

    Is it possible to write

    NC. Connect ("rtmp://localhost/HelloServer/room1");

    ?

    Thank you.

    Hello

Your understanding is almost correct and there is no contradiction about the instance and the URL in the developer's guide.

As he said, always connect to the network to connect to an instance of an application, this instance can be explicitly mentioned (you want to add room1) or if it is not given, FMS uses a default instance with identity _definst_ for all its purposes. Do not add this _definst_ in your connection URL or elsewhere, but its what the connection is.

If you see the FMS Management console, you can observe clearly which body is to get connections.

Thus, the Protocol: [//host] [: port] [INSTANCENAME] /appname/ is complete with the explicit instance name in the URL.

The NetConnection class connects a client to an instance of the application on the server. : Correct

NC. Connect ("rtmp://localhost/HelloServer"); It connects to _definst_

NC. Connect ("rtmp://localhost/HelloServer/room1"); possible and connected to the instance room1.

It will be useful. Thank you!

  • The COMPUTER Infrastructure of MTA-Study guides

    {Note: this is more precise category, I could use, I hope...} I've met no certification or study related to the category}

    Hi all

I am eligible for the exams, MCSA Windows 8.1 free due to a course, I participated and I'll probably take the consideration of earlier this month, but I noticed that hierarchically for my course I should have taken the COMPUTER Infrastructure of the first MTA certification tests.

    This one:

    https://www.Microsoft.com/learning/en-us/MTA-certification.aspx

I'll be eligible for certification if I take one of these tests here, but they are cheap so why not... in any case, I read online they are extremley simple tests and came across this guide on certiport:

    http://www.Certiport.com/portal/desktopdefault.aspx?page=common/pagelibrary/MTA_study_guides.html

(left side of the links on the FTP in PDF format).

Am I correct and the guides of this certification, and that's all?

I have the training that I had my own company pc repair in the past, and these guides seems to be terribly short...

    In any case,.

    those who should be sufficient?

    Hey Liron,

For inquiries on training and certification, you need to contact Microsoft Center support listed in the article listed here

    https://www.Microsoft.com/learning/en-us/help.aspx

They will be able to guide you to the best.

  • Reports developer reference guide?

    Hello

We have a lot of reports that have been (over the years) migrated from 6 to 11.  Most of the time, we have no problem with them, but from time to time I really regret not having any kind of developers reference guide. For example, the "Oracle9i Forms Developer' 'référence Guide' for forms.

The reason why I'm looking for one, it is that we had a problem with a report, and it is implemented in a Code39 barcode.  The original developer used an ampersand (&) in a block of text to indicate that the Postfix reference should be used, with ' *' is fine for the field delimiter.  I completely missed it and I'd love to see the additional documentation on this feature.  If it's forms, I could look in this reference of old (but still relevant) and understand it.

Was there ever such a guide for reports, and if so, could I get a document of reference so I can dig it up with the support of the Oracle.

    Thank you

    Dave

First thing that appears in Google is the developers of reporting Guide, which can be useful:

    http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/E12839_01/bi.1111/b32122.PDF

There is a whole section of bar codes in this manual.

I don't think that your problem with bar code has nothing to do with the reports, but with how works this barcode fonts. In accordance with the Code39 Manual:

"Don't forget to add an asterisk * character before and after your text. '. "Example * VOTRE_TEXTE."
