  For some reason when I activate 4 color gradient I don't see expression tab anywhere, or add the button. Is there something that I have to click to activate the visibility? cause I want to give my colors a little effect of agitation and I can not HELLPPP LOL

• You will need to create a 'gradient mask' using a b & w photo in image.

  I have not created a document again and I want a reflection on how to do it: I want to use a black and white image of continuous tone that is somewhat close to what would be a "masking" but with rounded edges - so he properly dismissed on the background image I want to use, do the black part of the image used as mask much of the effect of a gradient mask : the background image shows through everywhere where there is the 'black' and 'tone' of the image. I hope this makes sense.

  My first thought is to create a layer mask and then stick the black and white picture on that, but I don't know if it will work for accepting the "tones" of the image and working properly.

  Anyone had experience with this kind of thing that they could share and what steps should I take to ensure that this effect works?

  Yes, your layer mask will accept 256 shades of gray as a mask.

  Option, click on the mask and paste the image use > adjsutments > reverse.

  Im trying to figure out the right way to add a gradient mask but on an angle on my image.

  I cut out of batman and trying to give a reflection.i have 2 thoughts using gradient mask

  1 is just vertical flipped and I have added a gradientr mask, the 2nd image I reversed the image

  and added a gradient mask, but I also used the skew and deform, but the foot seems a bit odd, because of the tilt

  and distortion.is there a better technical to achieve a better and more realistic reflection?

  I think that the feet could take more editing; counteract the distortion of the torso, head, legs and arms may not be worth the trouble, however.

  I'm a newbe and I have the following in Photoshop problem

  

  I want to fill the white area with the blue to the yellow color gradient. There must be a way that the gradient will form perpenicular the outside inward (not from top to bottom or from left to right) how can I achieve this? Can someone help me on this?

  What happens if there was only "half a gradient" (blue yellow), and that the magnitude of the style is largest, it should work in your case, no?

  Were there an update this weekend which is broken masking?

  I tried gradient mask an object at a time by using a vector mask and a png mask. NONE OF THEM WORK! Last week it woeked - and another here at my work nooene can operate either.

  Gradient masks are just watch by a square. No way to get smooth edges (gradients on a hidden object more).

  Use a gradient to a layer mask requires that the mask and the hidden objects be cached as bitmaps and the mask object layer defined in Actionscript. This is not new.

  Use a gradient to a layer mask without the above will give you a mask with a hard edge to the size of the object that contains the gradient.

  Definition of an object on the stage as a mask will work for any hard sharp vector or bitmap.

  Hi all

  I have little experience in dealing with spot colors.  I'm trying to mix two colors of accompaniment for a print job.  Unfortunately the spot color gradient (left image) do not mix like the gradient color of the process (right image).  On the contrary, they will fade to a lighter color in the Center where they meet.  I'm sure that someone out there can help you because I think that is more of a technical problem that I'm just not familiar with.  Thanks in advance to all comments!

  Hi Hugh...

  The difference between two images, is the color range, mode CMYK is larger than the spot colors, this cause an incompatibility of mixture. If you want a better overview of your spot color on preview test print on the view menu, but don't forget that the reference of the right color is Pantone color card.

  You can use the path search tool to convert forms in one section, then gradient to create the dark lines where are the current limits.

  Or you can use "pen" one of them, to blend the overlap, but you may need to add the pen to a slightly larger copy of the object and your current border point to create a mask in order to keep the edges you want to stay strong and just leave an edge of more than in the other form.

  I can't find an example where I can create a custom class plot. I have to be able to line the plot of color based on the value of Y and make it look like a smooth gradient. Ideally, I would like to change the size of the line as well. This would allow me to "draw" the 3 variables using a 2D graph. I started (VB.Net):

• Why my three way color corrector mask acts as an opacity mask?

  I have corrected the color of the clips, but when I looked at them a few minutes later, the mask is black. As if it was an opacity mask.

  YES I found it! So easy, and I probably should know... If you have several effects on a clip, that "covers" the other. Like videotrack 2 covering track 1 in the timeline panel.

  I work with a project of pixel and I love how this chart looks like. The quality is horrible and I wish I could find the original HD, I'd be more than happy to pay for it. Unfortunately, I can't.

  Also, in my position, it would be more logical to actually learn to do this with Illustrator so that I can make variations for different projects.

  I tried to play with the function 'create photo mosaic' and he me 60% of my goal. I'd create a rectangle with a gradient, then would have raster and create photo mosaic.

  Unfortunately things seem too perfect. Colors are perfectly aligned and nothing doesn't come off or "explodes" the average pole.

  0 choose a cell format. In this example, I used a cell size of 12 pixels. In Photoshop, create a file that is a multiple of this size of cell (e.g. 792 x 192).

  

  1. create a gradient

  

  2. add some noise if you wish, for a color variation

  

  3 filter > Pixelate > mosaic. Use the size of the cell that you chose in step 0. Make a note of the number of cells horizontally and vertically.

  

  4. save the image. In Illustrator, place the image and add it. Select object > create object mosaic. Enter the number of cells horizontal and vertical in step 3.

  

  5 separate the grid of cells. Use the object > path > offset of getting 1 pixel cells (or even if you want). Cut to the Clipboard and delete the rest. Then glue in place.

  

  6 remove cells to taste.

  

  More noise around the steps 2 and 3 would probably have worked.

  I added a layer mask to a film. It shows the portion of the sequence I want to show. My question: is there an easy way to change the black color (the part of the sequence that is 'hidden') to another color (white for example)?   Background color of your comp is probably set to black so black things indicate transparency.  You can change the white in the settings of the computer if you want.  But I would just use the Photoshop-style checkered pattern to indicate transparency.  You see an icon of swith for this toggoe the bottom of the model.
