  I have a webcam which I am able to use successfully in labview (i.e.. Get images)

  I looked at the examples of criteria special color and tried to change them, so that I can detect a red spot, which can be seen through the webcam, but were unsuccessful.

  Basically I'm doing color real-time pattern matching

  Can someone point me in the right direction? Or help out me?

  It is an excellent example that installs with the vision development module. This example maybe not EXACTLY what you're after, because it allows you to dynamically set a color model to match. However, you can still save a static "model model" on the disc as well as the use in your code - if it is more relevant to your application. As a bonus in adding, deleting the dynamic learning model would simplify the code a bit.

  When ni.com research or the finder for example LabVIEW, do not forget to specify the COLOR the American way... color.

  Photosmart C7280 on iMac with MAC OS 10.6.7 error message Scanner when using Image Capture, preview, Hp such as HP Photosmart Studio and HP scanning software. The Message says that error Sorry an unknown error has occurred. I hear the scanner warms up when I open the scanner software. When the error message appears, I then force leave her as the Scanner Error message window will not close. My scanner used to work great. I recently reinstalled everything on my iMac. I reinstalled with the latest software on the HP site. The printer and copier are working very well.

  I know that the scanner is working as I just use Webscan with her and the image came, but I have no idea where the picture went my sacnner.  But that is a different problem.

  Can you help, pleeease. I've been fiddling with it all afternoon!

  You already have the printer hp software on your Mac?  If so, you need to uninstall the software by using the "scrubber":

  Go to Applications/Hewlett Packard / click Uninstall HP
  Click on continue
  Highlight your device in the left pane
  Hold down the Ctrl and Opt Cmd and click on uninstall< scrubber="">
  There will be a pop up that asks if you are sure you want to uninstall all hp software. (At this point, if you continue, all HP printers you have installed will need to be reinstalled)
  Click on continue and let it finish

  Restart your Mac

  Now run a software update.

  Finally, download and install the "Full Featured" driver and software from the "Support & drivers" link at the top of this page.

  I have a Photosmart 8750, which works very well with my windows laptop but when you print with IMAC using the latest version of Safari colors are all faded, the greys are orange etc..

  If print text in red, blue, green and yellow, the impression is very good. I cleaned the print heads, removed the printer and reinstalled but still not good.

  Any thoughts?

  No, I did what you suggested, but this has not resolved the problem unfortunately.

  I also have a HP Envy 120th and I can get pictures of very good quality of this print from iPhoto. But with the 8750 I get always the washed colors when you use the HP Photo paper, but oddly enough, the colors are OK when printing on plain paper. Enigma for me - any other thoughts?

• Photosmart d7260 requires cleaning frequent printhead

  I have a photosmart d7260 printer connected to a home network.  My computer is a hp 6730 s running XP service pack 2.  I have print regularly - maybe not everyday but several times a week at least.  A week there's an impossible document print - the printer seems to go through all the motions, but the book came out in white.  No error message.   After trying the task two or three times with the same results, I ran the touch screen of the printer print head cleaning function.  After the first run, the test page showed a few white streaks in the blocks of color, but after the second run everything was fine.  Since then, I have run the print head cleaning function before each print session to obtain good results.  I can print as many pages as I want during a few hours at the computer, but if I leave it for a few hours, I have to run cleaning print head again to get good copies even later the same day.  If I don't, black text can out Brown or some parts of the text or graphics don't print at all.  Needless to say, running clean print head which is often quickly depleting my ink supply.

• Correction of installation Photosmart Wireless with SSID of SigmaplusEOL1 problem

  I have a Photosmart C4780. I have set up for a little wireless printing back and it worked fine. Recently, I had to reset my router for other reasons, which forced me to set up my printer wireless again.  But I can't too. First of all, I used the Setup Assistant that has been installed on the iMac when I previously installed it.  That did not work.  Then, I just uninstalled and tried to reinstall it back. I tried to implement wireless first. When defective, I tried to set up via USB, and then wireless, which still did not work. The problem I meet is during installation in the Setup Wizard, I get 'Select unit.' My printer is connected via USB, and it appears on the list of devices. I click on "Continue" and the following window is an option that says "Set up your device for a wireless network." I check the box and click "continue." The next window is 'Select Network'. And here the problem comes in. A message appears that says "Device not connected", even if it is clearly. I even tried not to connect the printer via USB until it says "Select Device." But I get the same result. Also, when I click 'OK' to the message, window "Select network" not said no "Wi - Fi network discovered."  I can't do anything on this subject. I tried to reset the settings of the printer, and the printer for 15 seconds unpluggin wireless to reset the printer as a whole. Still having the same problem.  Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

  I finally thought to it! (Sorry I'm answering my own posts btw, but I want to put the solution for someone else with the problem of SigmaplusEOL1). If you have the SigmaplusEOL1 as your SSID when you print the "wireless network Test report", you have NO need to come back (I know it's a hassle for people).  To resolve this issue, follow these steps.

  (1) disconnect your printer.

  2) go to your router's IP address (such as 192.168.1.1 or whatever it is for your router).

  (3) replace the SSID of your wireless network with "SigmaplusEOL1".

  (4) for the security option for your wireless network select None (of the sort that a password is not required to access your wireless network).

  (5) Please turn your printer back and reprint "The wireless network Test report". It should say «No problem found...» »

  (6) the report shall also give an IP address of the printer (under Configuration Summary below). Type this address into your browser to go to the printer setup page.

  7) click on the 'Network' tab at the top.

  (8) under the heading "Connections" in the left pane, click "Wireless (802.11).

  9) click on "Start the Assistant" at the bottom right.

  (10) in the wizard, edit (the SSID and encryption wep or wpsk) password that you want your network to be wireless. So probably everything what he started as before you changed the SSID to SigmaplusEOL1

  11) click on 'Finish' at the end. The page will probably try to keep loading but it won't because you have changed the network settings on the printer. Just ignore that

  (12) back to the IP address of your router and change the SSID and the encryption password for everything what you change printer SSID and password.

  (13) reprint of the wireless network Test report. Admittedly, the SSID is the same as your wireless network, and everything is good.

  That's all. You should be good to go now.

  I'm sorry you have a problem with the printing of certain documents.

  It seems that your printer spooler may have a problem.

  Try to stop and restart.

  1. click on Start Menu

  2. type (Services) in the search bar

  3 scroll down to Printer Spooler

  4. stop and restart.

  If the print head can be removed, it is a replaceable part. Look at the print heads where the contacts are found; There should be an end date of guarantee that there are listed. If this date is not passed back into HP Total Care and they can solve the problems it more, as they can help with the purchase of a replacement printhead.   Have you tried to change the color matching options in the advanced print settings? Try this:

  1. open an image in the preview and open the print dialog box

  2. click on "Show details", left down

  3. open the menu drop down and select "color".

  4. click on "ColorSync".

  I would use the preset automatic once you choose ColorSync to see how it works. You are able to set up different predefined settings that you can modify according to your preferences. Let me know if that solves the problem.

• Data are blocked after Auto Color Match

  I used Auto Color Match to match a shot with another degree. He did a good job, but it blows too much. I want to be able to bring back the signal that it is the engine too hot. I added a layer of primary air and tried to bring back the gain, but it decreases the rather restrained signal than to bring back data that is already there.

  Is not correct on how that fix works. If you mash the black or blow the whites on a node, then in a node downstream decide to bring this information, you can do in this node. It is the definition of the work in a 32-bit float color space. The float, referring to the fact that the data values FLOAT and are not cut. If Speedgrade values of clipping during his visit to a layer then it is not a 32-bit float environment. Unfortunately, it's a show-stopper for the work I need to do. Guess I'll stick with determination. I hope for Speedgrade catch up here someday, I'd like to be able to use it in production.

  Hello everyone: I'm unable to get a color to be displayed correctly. I know there have integrated questions about how the color displays in a browser, but wonder is that I can refine it any more that I have for now.

  The issue: artistic creation for a GL page. Page in question contains an illustration, that contains a shade of red. I creates jpegs of text headers in PS and would like the text to appear in (as much as possible) the same red.

  I opened PS, chosen illustration color with the Eyedropper, noted the hexadecimal number and RGB settings.

  Created new PS files for heads of text and used that info to the color of the text in these files. All seems well in PS, color matching seems correct - until I'll save for Web, when the Save for Web window, the color changes considerably from a darker red. JPEG files that results also show good color in GL and where to live.

  The two files (head of illo and the original text) are in RGB mode in PS. Both have built-in profiles for Adobe RGB. PS color settings in Adobe RGB.

  Red illustration appears, in PS, GL and on the web. When I send illo in save for Web, red remains the same and looks very good.

  Text file looks ok PS until I go to save for Web, date at which Red poster as ugly Brown dark.

  Check or uncheck Web colors only in the color selector window makes no difference.

  Again, I understand that the web color is not exact, and there are limits on what can display colors. And it doesn't have to be an exact match; only an approximation. But since red in the illustration shows very well - in PS, GL and the Web - it seems it should be usable and display correctly in the jpegs as well - head but it's not. What Miss me? Is it possible for me to come close to matching the red in the illustration somehow?

  That's your problem.

  Set your workspace sRGB for the new graphics, or convert them to sRGB when registering for the web. The option convert to sRGB can be verified in the backup of the levels of web dialogue, either in the save for web dialog (right) wheel menu, depending on your version of PS.

  It is a question of color management and has to do with how your browser interprets colors. You can enable color management (google it) using Firefox and could find your more predictable results.
