Colors as a very different result of preview

I just installed the latest Photoshop CC. whenever I'm in Image → adjustments → whatever it is, the result turns out to be completely different from what I see in the preview. For example, when I use Hue to colorize a photo:

photoshophue.jpg

If I do the same using the appropriate adjustments layer, I get the same result as in the Preview on the screen, but as soon as I save the image in a non - psd format, colors are gone.

It is impossible to work like this. You have an idea why this happens? I should note that I work in the standard RGB mode and "proof colors" option is disabled (but if I let it, the results are the same).

I just realized what the problem was. The photos, I'm working on right now are huge woodcuts, which is what looks like a gradient of color is actually more or less dense lines in only a few shades of gray. The preview is calculated depending on the photo, we see on the screen (that is, with all the shades of gray that do not exist when we zoom). Obviously, applying the curves or color change in the image resized with new shades of gray is not the same but to apply the same adjustment to the original high-resolution photo and scaling it down.

Funny problem, indeed. This is the first time I'm editing woodcuts; It took me a few hours to realize what could be the problem.

  • Downloads are very different looking for previews

    The last 2 pictures I downloaded was very different from the samples.  They are both from the same collection / photographer and they are in black and white images.  I'm on a Mac OS X El Capitan.  Thanks in advance for any advice.

    Have you licensed it and downloaded the version high resolution? Without a doubt, it's 300 DPI and 3840 x 5760 in size.

  • Flattening, save money, levels: a very different output than what I see on the screen

    Photoshop wizards! I'm stumped on this problem and it's driving me bananas! It's a simple photoshop file, thus creating a background star field using noise and great basic tools. However, when I try somehow to save or flatten the image, the results look different way from what I see on the screen! This problem just started today and I don't know why, and nothing I've tried has fixed it. I am literally unable to create anything because whenever I try to save, I get a very different picture.

    photoshop.jpg
    In this screenshot, I use the save for web window to show what is happening, but it's the same, if I Flatten all layers, merged copy or try to save it as that - of course the results are not what my original document shows. It's like levels and layers are completely ignored. The same thing also happens when I try to apply levels to any similar image, it seems to go in the preview, and then totally different after the application.

    There is no transparency, layer styles or something tricky going. The document has the color management and RGB 8-bit/channel, test colors is disabled. I restarted my computer restarted the document from scratch twice, reset my preferences, off hardware acceleration, updated for the last CC 2015.5 and have been Googling for the last hour... no luck.

    I forget something really stupid, or I don't know what. I remember running on this problem before with my old laptop, but I do not remember what was the solution if I ever found a. If anyone wants to check out the document, it will be temporarily here:

    Appreciate any help!

    Glimpses of adjustment are calculated on the basis of the ratio of the screen zoom. This is done for performance reasons.

    In other words: If you view at 50%, the preview adjustment is calculated from this version sous-échantillonnées. Now look at this reduction of scale means causing the pixel details - it becomes blurry and fuzzy. So now you get a series of intermediate values that do not exist in the original, and you see adjusted values that do not exist. I can give you a false idea. But when you post adjustment (Flattening), the complete original data are used.

    Always keep in mind that the beach tonal adjustments have no effect on each of the pixels that are pure black or pure white. They only work on the medium gray.

    This consideration applies to all images with high acutance (sharp pixel-level transitions). It is not normally a problem for a normal picture with smooth transitions.

  • Why Express PSD gives a different result of amplitude as FFT PSD?

    Hello

    When I use the express VI of spectral measures to trace the power spectral density, I get a different result than when using the FFT PSD VI. The data are the same but the amplitudes are different in the PSD plot. Everyone comes through this?

    Thank you

    Donners,

    The PSD2 and graphic PSD2 are different because you are breastfeeding two extra points in the tables (t0, df). When graphic entry of data in the tables, they interpret not automatically information of t0 and df.  Actually they do not yet receive this information.  You must program the scales with nodes of property.  If you simply draw the order of magnitude, the spectra are very similar.

    ^ ^ ^ This confuses only the chart!

    The spectral forms differ slightly as the power spectrum of FFT and PSD.vi uses a default Hanning window.

  • When I concatenate the hexadecimal values of 2 different ways a get different results

    When I concatenate 2 strings in "hexadecimal view" the result is what I want.  When concatenate [a decimal number converted into a hexagon] with [a string in "Display Hex"] the results is very different.  Attached shows the code 2 cases.  In my code, why different 'LDD_Command 2' of 'LDD_Command '?  Thank you.

    The digital conversion to the hex string it gives normal representation (indicator LDD_input) chain. You display in the string with the representation of the hexagon (second part of the command LDD 2), they are not equal.

    If I understood you, you need display data (0CCD is hex for 3277 = u16(1/20*65535). If you need to have data with the representation of string - data should not change, expected just the way which display you them. This is done with the type cast.

  • Display different results with if statements

    Hello

    I'm doing a very simple logic but can't figure out how to do visually in LabView. Please take a look in the file. As you can see on the right, I have a group of 9 possibilities, each of them being true I want the COMPOUND NUMBER indicator to show a different result. I tried to use the structure of the case, but I could not the icon of the indicator in other sous-schemas. I also thought about putting the results in a table and choose the element whereby the possibilities.

    But I'm sure there is an easier way. Help, please.

    Thank you

    LD

    You put the indicator of terminal outside the structure of the case.  Then each case son its respective result in the tunnel leading out of the structure of the case to the indicator.

    (Alternative, but not recommended, use a local variable of the indicator in all other cases, if you use the terminal in one of the cases.)

  • Different results of exactly the same query

    Hello

    I wrote a function to calculate the days between 2 dates. If I am running in SQL Developer or directly on the oracle server, I get the results I expected. However, if I run on a client by using ODBC, or PHP connection via the OCI8 extension, I get an incorrect result.

    The function takes 2 parameters: 1st and 2nd date and should output the number of non-working days (weekends and holidays) between 2 dates. The coding is not very pretty, but it does not work very well as I said since the client SQL Developer.

    Here is the code:
    create or replace
    FUNCTION NON_WORKDAYS(fromdate IN DATE, todate IN DATE)
    --Function to calculate non working days between 2 given dates (Weekends & Bank Holidays)
    --Update: Added in a calendar for bank holidays. Bank holidays are listed to the end of 2013

    RETURN NUMBER IS
    BANK_HOLS NUMBER;
        ret NUMBER;
    BEGIN
        SELECT count(mydate) INTO ret FROM
     (SELECT     TO_DATE (fromdate, 'dd-mon-yyyy hh24:mi:ss') + LEVEL - 1 mydate
                    FROM DUAL
               CONNECT BY LEVEL < =
                                TO_DATE (todate, 'dd-mon-yyyy hh24:mi:ss')
                              - TO_DATE (fromdate, 'dd-mon-yyyy hh24:mi:ss')
                              + 1)
         WHERE TO_CHAR (mydate, 'DY') IN ('SAT', 'SUN');

         select count(mydate) into BANK_HOLS from (
         SELECT     TO_DATE (fromdate, 'dd-mon-yyyy hh24:mi:ss') + LEVEL - 1 mydate
                    FROM DUAL
               CONNECT BY LEVEL < =
                                TO_DATE (todate, 'dd-mon-yyyy hh24:mi:ss')
                              - TO_DATE (fromdate, 'dd-mon-yyyy hh24:mi:ss')
                              + 1
         )
         WHERE TO_CHAR (mydate, 'DD-MM-YYYY') IN
         ('03-01-2011',
         '22-04-2011',
         '25-04-2011',
         '29-04-2011',
         '02-05-2011',
         '30-05-2011',
         '29-08-2011',
         '26-12-2011',
         '27-12-2011',
         '02-01-2012',
         '06-04-2012',
         '09-04-2012',
         '07-05-2012',
         '04-06-2012',
         '05-06-2012',
         '12-07-2012',
         '27-08-2012',
         '25-12-2012',
         '26-12-2012',
         '01-01-2013',
         '29-03-2013',
         '01-04-2013',
         '06-05-2013',
         '27-05-2013',
         '12-07-2013',
         '26-08-2013',
         '25-12-2013',
         '26-12-2013'
         );
         ret:= ret + BANK_HOLS;

        RETURN ret;
    end;
    The problem is only with certain dates. For example, if I use the date '17-SEP-2012' for the two input parameters, I'm waiting for a result draw. In the SQL Developer client, I get the expected result. However, using ODBC or PHP OCI8 (which I believe is using a direct connection to TNS in the DB), the result returned is '1', which is incorrect ("17-SEP-2012" has been a MONDAY ""). If I use the current date (20-SEP-2012), I get the expected (zero) result in both the SQL Developer client and ODBC/PHP client.

    I also tried to use variants of SYSDATE in place and place the date string, to see if I get different results (i.e. today is 20-SEP-2012, so I used SYSDATE-3 to 17-SEP-2012).

    To be clear, I call the function in a select statement: select (sysdate-3, sysdate-3) non_workdays of the double; or select non_workdays (TO_DATE('17-SEP-2012'), TO_DATE('17-SEP-2012')) of double;

    I have spent hours and hours of troubleshooting this, and it makes me crazy!

    I also checked the view V$ SQLAREA the Oracle DB to see what is actually passed to the ODBC client database engine. I was expecting the statement became corrupted somehow, that's why I get strange results, but this was not the case. The statement in the column SQL_FULLTEXT of V$ SQLAREA, showed exactly the statement I performed on the ODBC Client. I tried with the oracle instantclient and full client (10g).

    Can someone help save my sanity please? I am eternally grateful!

    Sorry for the massive post!

    Your code is a mess. You convert DATE to DATE, e.g. TO_DATE (fromdate, 'dd-mon-yyyy hh24:mi:ss'). TO_DATE function first parameter is a string, while fromdate is the date. That's why Oracle implicitly converts fromdate to the string of default date format that is client dependent and therefore can produce different results on different customers boxes. In addition, your code is dependent on NLS. If the customer has other date language settings, for example German, Sun and SAT are false. And there is no need to separately calculate the weekends and holidays:

    create or replace
      FUNCTION NON_WORKDAYS(fromdate IN DATE, todate IN DATE)
      --Function to calculate non working days between 2 given dates (Weekends & Bank Holidays)
      --Update: Added in a calendar for bank holidays. Bank holidays are listed to the end of 2013
        RETURN NUMBER
        IS
            BANK_HOLS NUMBER;
            ret NUMBER;
        BEGIN
            SELECT  count(mydate)
              INTO  ret
              FROM  (
                     SELECT  trunc(fromdate) + LEVEL - 1 mydate
                       FROM  DUAL
                       CONNECT BY LEVEL < = trunc(todate) - trunc(fromdate) + 1
                    )
              WHERE TO_CHAR(mydate,'DY','NLS_DATE_LANGUAGE = ENGLISH') IN ('SAT','SUN')
                 OR mydate IN (

  • Smart collection returns different results to the library filter?

    This is such a stupid thing, and I barely noticed. I have smart collections simply gather all the images with a particular star of note, very very simple! I have a 1 star, a Star 2 and one for the 3 stars and more. So far so good, use these for centuries-, but I noticed that if I go to Catalog/All photos and place a filter of the same library (this is the filter at the top of the library grid view) I get different results. Actually if I place a filter attribute that says '= 2 stars' images only I can watch the tape that works at the bottom of the screen (sorry I have no idea what it's called) and he said that "all photos / 1056 1647 photos» If I can clear this filter and scroll down to my smart collection that applies the filter even to the entire catalog (and I triple checked this, no difference at all, I don't have lower or higher than the here is the self same "=" only!) and it says "1066"! Thus, the smart collection search 10 images more than other, identical filters working on the entire catalog - I am confused? Anyone had this problem, I missed something? If it wasn't for the number of images concerned I'd them and try to find the additional files by hand!

    Popular indices, and LR3 passing on Mac.

    Tim.

    You can check if the images are stacked differently (and thus not counted) in both points of view.

    Try the following:

    However, if the column in the WHERE clause predicate specifies a non-space column in the table for geometry1 with an associated index, make sure that this index is not used by specifying the NO_INDEX indicator for this index. For example, if there was an index named COLA_NAME_IDX set to the NAME column, you must specify the flags in the previous example as follows:

    SELECT / * NO_INDEX (c cola_name_idx), INDEX (c cola_spatial_idx) * / +.
    c.mkt_id, c.name... OF cola_markets c,...;

  • using the same search terms on ebay, getting different results on firefox exploer

    using the same words to search on ebay for internet explorer, I get results more when I use ebay on FireFox > is cutting some of the results when using Firefox

    It is always possible that eBay is to differentiate between browsers and gives different results, based on previous visits.

  • bookmarks.HTML makes very differently in FireFox 4

    For years, I have been using and loving Firefox (including 4.0).

    For years, I have also exported my bookmarks on Firefox and use the file bookmarks.html as my home page.

    Now, Firefox 4 restores the file bookmarks.html very differently from previous versions of Firefox and other browsers also differently (for example, IE).

    The indentations disappeared when viewing bookmarks.html in Firefox 4. Unfortunately, it is not really easy to show you this within this forum text box, but I'll try.

    Firefox 4 shows something like this:

    Bookmarks menu

    General interest

    Markham Weather Forecast - Environment Canada
    The Weather Network - Markham
    The Weather Channel - Markham
    AccuWeather.com - Canadian Forecast Center

    ... etc.

    Firefox 3.6, IE and other browsers show something like this (note the indentations that greatly improve readability):

    Bookmarks menu

         General Interest

               Markham Weather Forecast - Environment Canada
               The Weather Network - Markham
               The Weather Channel - Markham
               AccuWeather.com - Canadian Forecast Center

               ... etc

    Is this a bug in Firefox 4? I would really like to see bookmarks.html rendered with the indentations.

    Am I missing something?
    Thank you.

  • Satellite U400 - 12 p - very slow result in 3Dmark 2005

    Hello
    I just bought U400 - 12 p with Vista installed, and I have a few questions about this:

    I had installed half-life 2 Episode 1, 2, Prince of Persia 2008, but nothing worked properly. I read it is system requerements: everything seems to be good!
    Same 3Dmark 2005 show very poor results! What can be? Maybe I should update my BIOS, or activate certain functions, or is it because of Vista? I don't think that Intel GMA is so bad!

    Help me, please!

    Hello!

    What do you mean exactly when you say that nothing is working properly?

    If you want to play games, you must use the latest graphic driver. You can download the Toshiba site:
    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com-online decision-making supported Downloads & => Download drivers

    In addition, you should check if you have the most recent BIOS. You can also download it from the Web site.

    In games, you should not choose the graphics settings higher. Choose the Middle, and then the game runs faster.

    Good bye

  • Satellite L670-1LM - Touchpad behaves in a very different way

    Heey people!

    It's maybe a stupid question, but I don't know the answer, so I'm asking anyway.

    I recently bought a new Sattelite L670-1LM and everything works fine. Only the touchpad behaves in a very different way compared to what I'm used to.

    The two buttons, left and right, the same behavior. If I click on a random place on the screen, a quick menu appears, as if I clicked the right button of the mouse. When I noticed it, I first thought that the two buttons have been "buttons on the right."

    Then I noticed that when I actually click something, it opens as if I hit the left button of the mouse! So I seem to be able to do something with the two buttons because they have properties of both left and right mouse buttons!

    When I plug in an external mouse, quick menu opens when I click on the right button and I can open applications with the left button as I'm used to...

    Is this the usual way of a touchpad on a Toshiba laptop works or there at - it something wrong? To me, it seems as if it may be a hardware error, because it seems quite unlikely that messes things anerror, but still he messes up in a way that you can still do everything you could do with 2 different buttons. However, I have never seen this before, so I really wanted to ask the question.

    Also, anyone know how I can change this setting to a mouse "classic"? I can't fix by using the menu on the properties of the touchpad.

    Thanks in advance! Maybe it's a really stupid question, but I'm not an expert in this area.

    Thank you!
    Bottom

    OK... so now, I noticed that if I change the settings, something changes.

    If I put two buttons as buttons on the left, the two work as buttons on the left,
    If I put two buttons as buttons on the right, both work as buttons on the right, until here nothing unusual.

    However, if I put a button as the button on the right and the other as a button on the left, they both work as these buttons 'combination' I explained in my previous post... Any of them, I put as a button on the right, they always do the same thing.

  • Different results from the the DLL source code

    Hi all

    I'm new to this forum and also to labview so understandable...

    Then, I got a source project with many under vi of that graphic plots of excel files. I also got the exe after generation.

    The problem is, if I try to compile this project again, the exe gives me different results than what I already have. They should be the same, because I does no update in the source code.

    Can someone explain this behavior? I don't know anything about how it has been made because the guy who create this left the office... I need to make a few updates, but first of all, I have to build corectly.

    Thank you

    Have you compared the date of the exe file with the date of the source code? Are you absolutely sure that no changes have been made to the source code after the build? The construction specifications are part of the project. Unless you changed something there, builds should be the same.

    You have the source code control? Issues like this should not be a if you make and use wisely.
