  Hey everybody. Long time no see. Congratulations to Peter to get even more Bravo forum. At my current rate of the forum visit this will mainly be a fan site.

  Anywho. I recently put in CS6 on all the machines here at work (printer, 11 macs) and have heard a bit of mumbles and growls on the new system of color of stains. This can be an easy fix.

  CS5 on my Pantone Solid Coated colors have a completely different CMYK and LAB breakdown of what declares CS6. Not only the colours degrade different and have different LAB values, but they are really different. This wigs my dirty critters outside as well as designers. They don't like their Reflex Blue violet to research. We have all our devices output defined in Reflex Blue nails, for example, regardless of them being large format flatbed, inkjet printing, digital offset press press.

  I migrated my Pantone Solid Coated of CS5 and have all the color settings the same in terms of color management and still get the differences in distribution. This creates a problem for me with devices that do not have an awfully big spot library and require CMYK breakdowns they enjoy (if naturally do well with CMYK or make tricks like Fiery CMYK conversions CMYK to make the output devices play nice). Even the Blues of Pantone reflex + do not match between CS5 and CS6.

  It's just really confusing to me. We have several suppliers of ink and they do not use the Pantone system + for their inks. I don't know even what ink suppliers have embraced. We work with suppliers of ink from #2 and #10 in terms of market domination, so it is not a question that we just work with suppliers of ink of brand X.

  I have coated CMYK more series and wish to use it in InDesign CS5. I do not see their color chart section > color Mode. It is coated in process, but the colors are not the same and are incomplete. I also installed myPantone 1.5.

  I have T420s Lenovo ThinkPad Mini Dock Plus Series 3 with USB 3.0 plugged 90W. The problem, I USB 3.0 port on the dock (blue) work in USB 2.0. The port of the laptop works very well.   USB 3.0 port on the dock is not supported on the T420s, it is supported only on T430s and later versions.

  I have 3 laptops W520 and 3 Thinkpad Mini Dock Plus Series 3 docks. The audio 1/8 "output audio and MIC ports are not detected by Windows.   Hi, some of the new pantone more colors are not available in my library of books of color Illustrator. So, for example I am trying to select a new pantone color: 2368 C and it does not appear in the library as a sample. Anyone know how to upgrade if I can see all the new colors? It makes me crazy - plfacilitate help!

  You can get the Pantone Color Manager, which is free when you use the serial number in your address printed samples (on the second or third page) and then select the library you need.

  Or you can download the free 30 day trial of Pantone Color Manager and add the libraries from here.

  Here is where to put them:

  C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator 2015\Presets\en_US\Swatches CC.

  Probably you are not using global color or spot color swatch.

• Photosmart HP B210a more: HP Photosmart Plus B210 missing Scan software

  Hi all

  OK, Ive problems (two hacks, printer malfunctions, 1 disk repair, etc. over the past months) my Mac for the last two days, I restored Mac OSX 10.10.4 successfully and everything is well save for my printer as indicated above. I didn't know the usefulness was eliminated when I upgraded to Yosemite and it was hogging my CPU with a processing loop that was killing my Mac (I call her Alice!...)). So, I did get them all today my research on what went wrong with these processes which lead me to upgrade drivers Max OSX Yosemite and tried troubleshooting through:

  (a) installation of printers, their uninstall through the system preferences/printers and Scanners to verify that the drivers are there, I installed via the using field list driver HP Photosmart Plus B210, who can confirm print successfully without any trail of CPU (I uninstalled the HP before this point utility).

  (b) tried to get into the system preferences/printers and Scanners / where I chose "Scan" in the window of the printer and it says "SCAN SOFTWARE does IS NOT INSTALLED" (see attached printer screen)

  

  (c) I installed the driver in the development of window for HP Photosmart Plus b210 series that SHOULD allow the printer and scanner to work from my window System Preferences/printers and Scanners, I've lived more troubleshooting try to import a scan of the system of preferences/Applications/Image Capture and preview also. The two scan attempts to import sent the same message, lack of scan software when I tried via the printers & Scanner on System Preferences window.

  So frustrasting as she is, I set up a test on the printer to use the port MMC to scan an image of the window of the printer to the MMC card, that I inserted in the printer and it worked to prove that the software of the printer works on scan, but not directly with my Mac. Printing software is confirmed later, brings back me to my Mac and his missing scan software.

  This seems to be missing and appropriate drivers that should make the impression (works fine, no trail of CPU as before) as well as scanning (missing software problem). Does anyone know how I can fix this and if I need to download software drivers or anything please provide your console if necessary with links to what I need...

  Try to update the software by following these steps:

  Click on the Apple icon, then select about this Mac.
  Click software update, and then click the Store from the top of the indicated window menu and click on reload the Page.

  Be sure to install any update HP or Apple, then check for the difference.

  If it persists, try manually install the package below. Tjen try to scan the image:

  I'm building a document in Illustrator CS6 using CMYK color. I need to add, and in some cases, substitute and identify the correct most closely matched PMS Pantone spot colors but don't see even the PMS library represented in Illustrator. Can anyone help me find Pantone swatches, or is it an add-on for the program Illustrator?

• The missing in Illustrator CS5 live paint bucket tool

  The Live Paint Bucket tool does not appear in the Toolbox of Illustrator CS5. I looked at other threads which suggest to delete the file "Adobe Illustrator CS5 préférences". I did and it has no effect. There is no empty space in the palette where the button should be, she is just completely missing, as it was never installed (either its hidden somewhere I'm fairly new to Illustrator). However, I can create a "live paint group' using 'paint-make objects-live' in the drop-down menu in the menu at the top of the screen. However, I have trouble finding how to do this on every computer in the office.   According to the data sheet for the Laserjet 4700n printer range, this printer has only these methods of connectivity. Unfortunately, wireless printing is not mentioned.
