• Problems with the pages of models CS3

  My site is www.cft-aft.org and I have problems with a page or two that were created from a master template that the images are not loading or projection. An example can be found at http://http :// www.cft-aft.org/Get%20Involved.html. I don't know what the problem is or how to diagnose.  All pages of this website have been created from the master template. I had some file management problems in the past, and I think I have corrected most of them (with the exception of the change of name without spaces). I understand that this could be a problem and if it is my problem with this specific page, I understand.

  I have attached a few screenshots of the presentation of dreamweaver and a screenshot of my side of local and remote sites.

  The main problem with the page get involved is not editable images do not exist. Everything lies in the local root folder of the site/htdocs, on both sides. I noticed that when I do to the top of the page get involved in DW is at the top right of the screen, he reads a long path (shown as an example on the screenshot) and on other pages which load correctly, the path is not the same thing, but they reside in the same folder. I suspect that this is probably my problem, but I'm confused, how it got like that and worse still, how fix without having to completely rebuild the page.  I am a total novice and teach me how to do this using the DWCS3 Missing Manual book, but I can't find a solution in there, so please help if anyone can, with step by step instructions.

  If anyone has any idea how it happened, I'd appreciate comments so I do this again.

  What keeps you from renaming files with Word spaces? It is a good idea. On ALL of your files. Rename them to the INSIDE of the files Panel.

  You work in a defined site? Yes, you are.

  The page you we directed (with an address disheveled, but easy to fix on the track), shows a large number of links to files on your computer, do not using links to other files in your root directory.

  You must open your template and reapply links to all images. Save the model. Once you have re-applied the links in your template Master.dwt, change > models > update of the Pages... while your model is open (especially if DW does not ask if you want to update the files). Record everything (better yet, don't have other pages opens when you update the pages...).

  Depending on how you created your page "Se Involved.html", it would be preferable for you to set up a new page of the child of your template and copy the changing content of the old page. Name the new page (without spaces in the file name... lol...) and save it. You won't be totally rebuild the page, because a lot of it will flow in your model.

  Commenting on your illustration to pdf, you want the indicator model-based Yellow Page in the upper right of your page based on a model of read model: Master. Pages containing the path to the top there are incorrect. I don't know how this happens, but it could be a problem with moving the files outside the DW (bad idea)... always use the files Panel to move files. You have full access to your computer in this window.

  Or they will mess up the page because they aren't HTML5? I need to find something for someone who just needs to update a table on a Web page every day. Is there a way they can do this without Dreamweaver when the page has been designed in Dreamweaver? -They cannot afford the subscriptions of Adobe. Anyone has any ideas on this? Thank you.

  Or, if your client is HTML savvy, they could download media (it's free) and use it as their editor.

  Media - a code editor open modern source, which includes the design of web sites.

  I put the table in an include file server to isolate it from the rest of the Web page/site.

  There is less potential damage in this way.

  I'm checking the links in Dreamweaver CM³. Are the steps that I'm supposed to use file > check page > links. But the review page option is not available. How can I do this is that the button is not there? Thank you!

  It sounds as if you follow the obsolete. I do not remember there ever be an option in the file menu to check the links on a page. To check the links, you must go to the Site > Check links to the site level.

• IE shows the code for dreamweaver CS3 after downloading

  Need help.

  I coded a site in Dreamweaver CS3 and after that I downloaded via automatic download, everything goes perfectly well until I discovered the site online through Internet Explorer. Thanks to all other browsers, the website is fine ie, Firefox, iron for PC and Mac etc.. It's just the PC Internet Explorer that displays the actual code.

• Add a comment or a note to the page in Dreamweaver (reminder Note)

  Is there a way to Dreamweaver 8 to add a note or comment to a page? I don't comment in the code of the site, but a pop-up note or something, so that when you open the page for editing, it alerts / notifies you?

  Reason for this is there is a site that I'm working on, and when I edit the page, I need to remember to also change a form. I always forget to do it, and a note or something that showed when I just edit the page would be great.

  If this option is not there, it would be great to add in a future version.

  Go into your dreamweaver for the place (x) required site manager and select - Design Notes.

  Then right-click on the file and select design notes from the menu.

  I read the book of David Powers "The Essential Guide to Dreamweaver CS3 Ajax and PHP" and I'm having a lot of problems with Chapter 14. The simplest State is that in chapter 14 of the book it says to select the option 'connQuery' when a recordset is created, but the only options are databases that I have. It's very frustrating. I hope that David could read this post, but if anyone knows why this option isn't there in Dreamweaver when you create a Recordset object in CS3.

• Probelems with the properties of the page in Dreamweaver cs4

  I have a problem with dreamweaver cs4. My dreamweaver is installed on windows 7. I have not had this problem before in windows xp.

  It is on the propperties most low screen (page) (dreamweaver is in classic mode)
  When ik point to HTML, so I see all of the elements. It is also the same for CSS.

  -HTML - FORMAT - CLASS by the title, I see only 3mm. The rest is not displayed.

  On the next line by CSS - ID - LINK, it's the same thing. I see only 3 mm of the target.

  The strange thing is that when I click my mouse to an image of the page propperties appear good. Then, there is nothing wrong with it. I can see everything. I hope someone can help me. I posted a picture of the problem, so you see inmeadiatly what I mean.

• Cannot display the rest of the document in Dreamweaver CS3

  I'm a long-time GoLive user who has converted a number of Dreamweaver sites in recent months. Yesterday, I started to convert a web site of 1100 PHP pages, which represents my most complex customer site. What I noticed immediately, is that 90% of the pages show only the menu bar in the area of "design mode" and no registration below that. The code all displays correctly in the display area of code. I am really intrigued by this behavior.
  
  The < / head > tag shows in yellow in Design view. As a result, I see the menu bar that is actually made an include file. Below, each page is empty, except for the model pages PHP which are HTML pages and use the slightly different code.
  
  In the tests to try to identify the problem, I found that the page showed only when I deleted the line that calls to the top of the bar with a main menu include file:

  What is curious is that this includes the command is not new. Includes date from the middle of the 1990s. There are other include files in the HTML and display them correctly. I have checked and checked the formatting to include it, and it's OK. It is displayed correctly in all browsers and is very well read in GoLive. Dreamweaver only chokes on this particular item included. So I looked through the file include itself to see what I could find.
  
  It contains a few Javascript specific to GoLive function called in the head section, and the body tag has an onLoad call to the GoLive generated script file. However, when I removed those and tried again, Dreamweaver still refuses to show to the rest of the page unless I have to remove the menu include code.
  
  Any ideas how I can get past this annoying problem? I went back to GoLive, hoping CS4 can solve it, but this seems to be a really weird and I wish I had a solution in place soon. Thanks for any help you can offer.

  You have raised a very good point. None of the pages have redundant tags, but after reading your post, I realized that Dreamweaver is not filtering of the head and body tags in the included file, as well as GoLive and as do browsers.

  These tags are needed in the include file if you want to see how it will look, but DW can't deal with it. To confirm this, I checked the code view and I saw that the closing body and html tags are also yellow, a sign that DW reads those file include as belonging to the entire document.

  I think it is quite ridiculous that the current version of DW cannot deal with something that browsers properly handled in 1996, and that all versions of GoLive was handled properly. If someone reading that it's using the beta version of DW CS4, I would like to know if it solved this problem short-sighted.

  I have a report of responses which displays the 'top 20' and has only 2 narrow columns (name and total). In the dashboard, it looks like a vertical strip:

  It would look much more pleasant if it was a "newspaper" style, where you have more than one column of the whole page:

  Is this possible to be done using OBI EE? I looked for a checkbox style "journal" in the properties of the report (hoping it would be that simple) but no luck... I couldn't find all the messages in this forum either, maybe I'm using the wrong terminology.

  Yes, it is possible using a PivotTable. Assuming you want 10 records by column, you must do the following:

  (1) adds a column to your report with this formula:
  RCOUNT (Column) - 10 * FLOOR ((RCOUNT (Column) - 1) / 10)

  (2) add another column to your report with this formula:
  Floor ((RCOUNT (Column)-1) / 10)

  (3) go to the PivotTable

  (4) add column 1) lines section

  ((5) add column 2) section columns

  (6) add the other columns in the action box

  (7) add the aggregation rule to "FIRST" for all columns in the action box

  (label measure area to 8) in the section lines under column 2 area)

  I have problems with my php include command.

  I aheader that must be on all pages, but when I include it in a page, it will stop to view the original content of the page.

  To be able to edit pages (not the header include file), I have to comment or remove the php include so that the original content is displayed and can be edited.

  Hello, sorry to ask this, but I can't find a similar problem on the community forum:

  I tried to change the look of my Thunderbird and switched in Vertical mode, now all the options in the view > page layout are empty, no way to change it back...

  Second question: while I was managing the columns in layout with the cursor, the one on the left with all accounts, now gone, there seems to be no way to recover it. It appears when I run Thunderbird for a fraction of a second, then nothing.

  I even removed Thunderbird and installed it again, but it opens with the same layout.

  Is there anyway that I can change to the default layout?

  Are you using a Add ons? If so restart with Add ons disabled in order to see if it works better. Helps in the menu.

  I have a link in a page that links in a pdf file / or the someone site. Is it possible to have a box pop up asking to return the our original site? Please see my example at http://www.quickflash.com/boilersgas.html. If you click on one of the photos, it will take you to another site. I want to make it easy for them to return to our original site instead of hit the arrow to the left.
