  Now that I have data factory reset my phone, I checked on the Application Manager. This time in the list, it's purely programs and applications that I downloaded and installed on my phone. There are NO names to strings or whatever it is starting with "com" at all! No 'com.motoblur.' apps, nothing. Each application is a full name and has an icon for him.

  This error appeared out of no - where, and we have been unable to connect to the phone network since. The phone is also overheat insofar as we could hardly touch the screen once the phone was in a pocket.

  If the phone works very well in mode without failure, then probably some 3rd party app is the problem. The challenge is to find what app or apps is the problem.

  Mode sometimes course does not help, and a reset is the next step only. Other times in safe mode simply confirms that the phone is physically ok, but there is not point to the actual problem.

  Safe mode is designed to allow the phone to start without any 3rd party of loading applications (not always, but that's the idea) but some configuration parameters can still load, it is not infallible. But it is sometimes useful exclude a hardware problem on the phone.

  It is a problem with the installer of Google that I was not able to find a complete solution to.

  You can try to make a copy of the folder 'tools', designating something as "toolsCopy" and run "android.bat" from this directory via command line.

  Other than that, you might find some success audit StackOverflow.

  Okay, a week in my new Z30 and should always be able to download apps.  All I really want to start with is the Starbucks app.  The problem appears in the App under Apps Manager install.  The two options "Allow Apps from other Sources to be Installed" and "Inspect applications before installing" are both disabled.  Each appears the message "Install applications from other sources is disabled by your administrator."   The problem is, there is no administrator for this camera because our society is no longer running a BES.  I'm just hanging through a microsoft exchange server.  Check with our IT people, they have no right to my Z30 admin and have no trouble runnning and download applications on any other Android device on our system.  So, how to act as an administrator, this parameter can be changed.

  OK, then we come back at the beginning. You said your business "is no longer running a BES", implying that this device was once associated with a BES environment, which would have placed a policy on the device, and that the policy could well be what is currently blocking this function. To remove the policy, you must perform a WIPE of security on the device and/or lead a focused on the LINK 'reset factory' (note carefully to please that aren't the same thing, they are separate functions, and you may need to do BOTH).

  Make sure you that know about your credentials before BBID you launch this... If you do not, you could make your device unusable even for yourself with the compulsory anti-theft feature. Also, I recommend to backup/restore in connection with this... it's possible that such would simply restore the it policy back to the equipment and you'll be right back where you started.

  Great idea on the button on the headset. The only other way that I can think of is to change the settings on the phone and activate the device end the call when it is placed in the case.
