Hi Pierre,.
UnableToAcquireLockException indicates that the write operation was not able to acquire a write lock. Once an entry is made in a transaction, the entrance is write-locked until the transaction is complete. If you have multiple threads, update the entries of same, you can modify your code to handle the exception and retry the operation.
Thank you
Tom

Hello
I'm using 3.4.2 coherence and consistency for .NET. I managed to get my .NET client, speaking to the cluster of coherence. However, now I want to get a java client to do the same thing. (I want to connect to an extension node)

Define the new service of tangosol-coherence - override.xml
Hi all
I am new to consistency. Have a problem to define the new service.
I am trying to create a new service replied to a few caches and intend to run this service only on some nodes in the cluster.
So I created the new definition of service in tangosol-coherence - override.xml by copying the definition for ReplicatedCache (id = "1"). I changed the ID number to + 101 + and changed the service type for "newReplicatedCache."
Then in my cache - config.Xml. I put the tag < service name > "myService" to "newReplicatedCache".
It starts and runs ok, and Jconsole MBean I see there is a "newReplicatedCache" with "myService" running, which is great.
Now, the problem comes, tangosol-coherence - override.xml, <>lease-granularity for "ReplicatedCache" is set to Member.
And I need put < lease-granularity > to 'newReplicatedCache' to wire.
I did and seems consistency is without taking account of this parameter and always using members to 'newReplicatedCache '.
Then I removed the definition for 'newReplicatedCache' in tangosol-coherence - override.xml, and consistency is always be able to run, and there always create a new service "newReplicatedCache". I guess this is just to get the name of cache-config. XML and then use "ReplicatedCache" default service definition in column a new service.
So my question is how to define new services?
I checked the documentation for the serial number, it does not explain how to create a new service. I understand that this is a very simple matter of installation, will be more than happy to read the documentation if you can direct me to that useful :)Hello
To achieve what you want, delete
... your file tangosol-coherence - override.xml and change your schema definition reproduced in you cache configuration to:myNewCache-scheme myNewReplicatedCache thread Andy

Hello
have you applied last patch of the FDMEE-SAP adapter?
It will create the additional flexfields in ODI for you. Otherwise, you will need to create them by running sql insert statements.
You will see them in the guide of BristleCone V4.0.

If you do this in a procedure, use the following syntax:

and set the relevant logical schema in the options on the target tab of the procedure. Also, make sure you only select the correct technology type in the options on the target tab.

What is com.tangosol.util.Dequeue?
Can I use a com.tangosol.util.Dequeue to allow a producer put objects into a consistency supported dequeue while other consumers are atomically made him?
Thank you

AndrewHi André,.
This class is not a queue, supported by coherent caches. It is simply a double ended queue similar to java.util.Dequeue introduced in Java 6.

EIS,
Lately, I noticed that there are a few errors in the newspapers about the JTA stuff. I'm not sure what caused these problems, but now they're here :-)

It seems that the problem of database. I found similar in 'Doc ID 1638989.1'.
In your journal, I see that it comes in the catalogue (to the oracle.iam.catalog.repository.DBRepository.updateCatalogItems(DBRepository.java:4053)).
The solution was the following: "apply the patch database #17501296 to the 11.2.0.4 database version.

com.tangosol.util.ServiceListener does not
Guys,
I am trying to understand the functioning of the CacheService.addServiceListener (ServiceListener listener), but can not get enough of this work. Any ideas/help is appreciated.
Here's the code to my node of storage permits:
{code}
public class CoherenceServer {}
Public Shared Sub main (String [] args) throws InterruptedException {}
DefaultCacheServer.start ();
Thread.Sleep (60000);
NamedCache cache = CacheFactory.getCache ("TEST");
CacheService cacheService = cache.getCacheService ();
cacheService.shutdown ();
While (true);
}{code}
Here's the code to my disabled storage node:
{code}
public class CoherenceStorageDisabled {}
Public Shared Sub main (String [] args) throws InterruptedException {}
DefaultCacheServer.start ();
NamedCache cache = CacheFactory.getCache ("TEST");
CacheService cacheService = cache.getCacheService ();
cacheService.addServiceListener (new ServiceListener() {}
@Override
{} public void serviceStopping (ServiceEvent arg0)
System.out.println ("out");
}
@Override
{} public void serviceStopped (ServiceEvent arg0)
System.out.println ("out");
}
@Override
{} public void service (ServiceEvent arg0)
System.out.println ("starting");
}
@Override
{} public void serviceStarted (ServiceEvent arg0)
System.out.println ("started");
}
}); While (true);
}
}{code}
Output in CoherenceStorageDisabled

But the serviceStopped() or serviceStopping event is never raised. Wonder why?
Thank you
D
Service listener cache if for the service running on the same node you added the service auditor.
In the node of your storage disabled, the cache service always works, even after stopping the service, the storage node on. It's just there no available storage. From point of view of the disabled storage node, the cache service still works.

Why transactional cache deserializes the PortableObjects in a call to put ()?
I use a single transactional cache and I put PortableObjects in it. The cache contains an index to a string. the Pof object has 3 fields - long, String and byte [].
I had a breakpoint in my PortableObject constructor in debugging my code and realized that consistency TransactionalCacheWorker wire deserializes the PortableObjects as soon as it receives the order to the customer.
It is worth noting that my tests are on a single JAVA virtual machine - putter and cache are in the same JVM.
I have 1 index on the second string field. However, I noticed in the stacktrace (debugging my code) this consistency was another clue indexed on ValuesKeyExtractor... and I suspect that this index is originally my PortableObject be deserialized on the side of the cache. Ideally my index that uses a PofExtractor should not have required a deserialize. Fix?
In addition, none of the cache.entrySet (filter) operations managed because of this error below. Relevant code snippets and screenshots below:

Hello
Even with POF objects an index can give great performance to your queries gains. Without indexes, each query has swept all of the cache and check the fields used by the filters of the POF value for each entry to see if it matches - a bit like an on a full table scan database. Yes, POF can be more effective than deserialization, but get much better performance, lower you the garbage and the lowest CPU utilization using indices.
None of this responsive Ashwin original question.
You have configured your cache to use a serializer POF?

With the help of my classes with OptimisticNamedCache
Hello
I learn to use the framework of the Transaction, and I'm stuck on a problem. When I add entries consisting of Java to a NamedOptimisticCache types everything works as expected. If I try to use my own classes as the keys and the values for the entries, it seems that each of my key points to a value zero.
I wrote a simple program with two classes of support and a stripped down in the cache configuration file to illustrate the problem. Their text appears under my signature.
Here is the result of an execution. Note the line that reads: MyKey@fa39d7=null

Your key should implement equals() and hashCode(). Something like...
public int hashCode() { return id; } public boolean equals(Object o) { if (o instanceof MyKey) { MyKey that = (MyKey) o; return id.equals(that.id); } return false; }
Thank you

I use a single node of consistency on Solaris 10, 64-bit 1.7 JVM. It works very well. However, the problems start when I'm trying to start a 2nd node of Eclipse running on the JVM 64-bit Windows that is configured exactly the same as on Solaris. Observing these two newspapers JVMs, I can see that each node detects the other, however, the node that was started the 2nd always gets the exception below and ends. It doesn't matter on what OS I starts it's always the 2nd JVM that gets this error.
What can be wrong? What is my config? If it wasn't, why the first node set up and working properly?
Here's the exception:
