Compact Z3 email inbox - emails read on my computer do not change 'read' on my mobile

Hello

first sorry for my bad English.

Hope you understand.

I have a problem in my Facebook.com/sonymobile email box. When I read a new email on my computer (MacBookPro) my emails always in position "no read" on my laptop, and it's really uncomfortable, because when I read my emails on my mobile they have eliminated the new box of e-mail on my computer.

And every 2 or 3 days I must see compare to send by e-mail to be sure...

How can I do?

Thank you very much

You probably put in place as an IMAP on a device and POP on the other and through your e-mail settings real suppliers, that you will have defined it so that, when viewing IMAP it then sync and give you the question, you

  • Outlook Express: Restore compact trash emails

    Last night, with respect to many previous nights, the message appeared asking me if I want to compact my emails for free space. Normally I just click 'Cancel', but last night I clicked 'OK' just to get rid of the annoying message.  I didn't touch a computer, but went to bed and left to do its thing.  This morning I found that all the emails in my Inbox for the last 12 months had disappeared.  (Emails in subfolders are always here much.)  I went in the trash and found an icon it bearing the mention "Inbox.dbx.bak (1.9 GB)" therefore clicked on it.  I chose the option to restore OK, but now I can't find this file anywhere and emails were not delivered to my Inbox.  I used My Computer/Search function to search for "Inbox", "dbx" & "bak", but all without success.  Can someone tell me where they could be, please, keeping in mind that I am certainly not gifted in computer science.  I am a grandma of golf & I need explanations in easy to understand language.  I had a glance on various blogs & forums, but can't really find anything specific to my situation, and certainly nothing that gives an answer in the language, that I can understand!  I hesitate to restart my computer, just in case this file disappears completely (if it has not already done).

    The fact that you let the Inbox become so big compiled with not compacting lead to this mess.

    Recovery methods:

    If you use XP/SP2 or SP3, and are fully patched, then you should have a backup of your dbx files in the Recycle Bin (or possibly the message store), copied as bak files.

    To restore a folder bak on the message store folder, first find the location of the message store.

    Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store folder will reveal the location of your Outlook Express files. Note the location and navigate on it in Explorer Windows or, copy and paste in start | Run.

    In Windows XP, the .dbx files are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in the Solution Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder options | View.

    Close OE and in Windows Explorer, click on the dbx to the file missing or empty file, then drag it to the desktop. It can be deleted later once you have successfully restored the bak file. Minimize the message store.

    Open OE and, if the folder is missing, create a folder with the * exact * same name as the bak file you want to restore but without the .bak. For example: If the file is Saved.bak, the new folder should be named saved. Open the new folder, and then close OE. If the folder is there, but just empty, continue to the next step.

    First of all, check if there is a bak file already in the message. If there is, and you have removed the dbx file, go ahead and rename it in dbx.

    If it is not already in the message, open the trash and do a right-click on the file bak for the folder in question and click on restore. Open the message store up and replace the .bak by .dbx file extension. Close the message store and open OE. Messages must be in the folder.

    If messages are restored successfully, you can go ahead and delete the old dbx file that you moved to the desktop.

    If you have not then bak copies of your dbx files in the Recycle Bin:

    Disable analysis in your e-mail anti-virus program. It is a redundant layer of protection that devours the CPUs, slows down sending and receiving and causes a multitude of problems such as time-outs, account setting changes and has even been responsible for the loss of messages. How can I disable compacting of emails, I'm some lose every time I compact.

    You can't turn it off, and if you could, you would lose all your messages eventually. You can have a file corruption, and I would advise to create a new identity.

    You may have a damaged identity especially if it's the default main identity. File | Identity | Add the new identity. Create a new one and try it. If all goes well, you can import your messages and address book from the old identity and delete it.

    Note: Do not use the main word in the name of the new identity.

    About file Corruption:
    http://www.Microsoft.com/Windows/IE/community/columns/filecorruption.mspx

    Compacting your folders periodically is a must to keep OE works fine and at some point, you may lose all your saved messages if you do not. When you delete or move messages, the space they used remains until you compact.

    Never touch anything until the compression is finished.* *.

    See:
    www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#2

    With SP2, Automatic compaction in the background has been removed because of problems he has caused. Now, you will get a prompt to compact after 100 closures of OE, you need to do, and do not touch anything until it's finished. If you compact manually, at your convenience, this will also set the counter to zero. See this for more information:
    http://www.insideoe.com/files/maintain.htm#compact

    If you are fully patched, you will now see a copy of your dbx files copied to the Recycle Bin as BAK files. If something goes wrong when compacting, the messages can be easily restored from this backup. A compact manual resets also the counter in the back of the registry to zero now.

    For more information, see the information framed in red here:
    www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#2

    To keep things running smooth and harden faster:

    Do not archive mail in default OE folders. It will eventually become corrupt and you may lose mail. Create your own folders defined by the user for mail storage and move your mail to them. Empty the deleted items folder regularly. Keep user created folders under 300 MB, and also empty as is possible to default folders.

    Whenever I have leave Windows Mail, I get a message to compact my emails. In earlier versions of Windows, there was a tweak to disable this message and leaves email messages not compacted. Is also available in Vista?

    OldZ80

    Vista does NOT compact your e-mail messages. It is purely a misconception and the poor choice of terminology Microsoft.

    WM, each message occupies its own file, so no message compaction is necessary. "Compacting" mentioned in WM's
    inside the message database. Whenever you delete a message, it leaves a gap in the data base (index). Compaction removes the empty spaces, thus speeding up the access of database.

    Windows Mail offers to compact the index file of the emails, remove references to deleted messages and will continue to until you let it.
    The actual messages are stored in separate files. Once you let this, the message will disappear until you close Windows Mail a number oftimes - usually 100 times.

    You should allow Vista to "compacting".
    If you INSIST... and you should not...
    Open Windows Mail > tools > Options > Advanced > maintenance. Compact uncheck > OK

  • Compact finding emails in Windows Mail

    I hope someone can help me.
    I compacted my emails with the feature of compact mail every 100 times to stop the program, but I need to recover some of these emails, which I cannot find.  I thought they would be in the same place as always but simply compact and it wouldn't affect how I found them or where they were stored or how it has been shown or anything else.
    I would be grateful if someone can show me how.  Are they stored somewhere else?  I have to add a folder or file type to the list of what is show?
    Thanks in advance

    Compacting mail does not remove anything.  It simply removes the empty space in files which contain messages so that the files take up less disk space.  No data is deleted.  The individual messages themselves are not affected. Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook]

    Hi all

    I'm developing an application where I still messages e-mail from specific senders to come me. I access these persistent emails in my application and approve or dismiss the action on these mails through my application. In both cases (approve and reject), I send mails where I got that email.

    But I would like to mail in my E-mail Blackberry Inbox as READ when I approve/reject that mail in my application. I managed to find the mail from the Inbox which I approved or rejected my app but when I put this mail as read that mail from the Inbox is not be marked as read...

    File inboxFolder.

    Hi all

    The solution, I worked myself...

    Instead of storing messages in a table and their definition as open, I directly put messages as read as follows...

    Inbox is the Inbox of the store...

    for

    (int i = 0; i)<>

    Date of receipt of string = dateFormat.format (inbox.getMessages ([i]) .getReceivedDate ());

    if (inbox.getMessages () [i] .getFrom () .getAddr () .equals (messageDTO.getFromAddr ()) & receivedDate.equals (messageDTO.getDateTime ())) {

    inbox.getMessages ([i] .setFlag (Message.Flag.)

    OPEN,true);

    Break;

    }

    }

  • How to access my emails from someone elses computer

    How can I access my email from my kids computer when I'm out of State?

    The best way to work with e-mail on someone else's computer is to use the webmail, go to your email provider's website in your browser and look for an option to access the e-mail.

    You can install an e-mail on the laptop client, but what you see depends on what type of connection uses the account. If it's POP, you will see only newly arrived messages, and you need to be wary of leaving the only copy of the messages you read on this computer.

    If she uses the IMAP protocol, you will be able to see almost all of your correspondence saved. You should always think of clear messages from the computer when return you, and probably you also want to remove Thunderbird (and profile) to remove access to your e-mail account when the computer returns to its owner.

    However, Webmail leaves nothing behind the borrowed computer, so is the most intimate method.

    When an email in the spam folder and I click "not spam", where he's going, and how to get it back?

    Hey,.

    I have goggled this problem for you.

    According to AOL:

       "If you see a piece of email that is not spam, click the email, and then click This is Not Spam. The message will be automatically moved to your New or Inbox folder. You should then add that email address to your address book or your Custom Sender List (if you have one set up), so that future emails from this sender will not be sent to your Spam folder."

    Hope this helps you.

  • After saving the emails from windows live mail, why not open them on my computer as the file extension is wlmail.fol?

    After saving the emails from windows live mail, why not open them on my computer as the file extension is wlmail.fol?

    wlmail.fol is a tiny text giving the name of the folder. The exported messages will have filenames like 00D13E83 - 000025DF.eml. If you don't see all of the files like this, your export probably did not work properly.

    For a successful export, follow these directions:

    1. Set Windows Live Mail to work offline before starting.
    2. Create a temporary folder on your desktop * to contain the exported messages.
    3. In the Export Wizard, select the temporary folder, and then select all the folders.* *
    4. When it is complete, check that the number of files in each folder to the temporary folder is one more than the number of messages in the corresponding folder of WLMail.
    5. Copy the temporary file to its final destination.
      If you use a reader not NTFS to do this, you will see a warning that certain file properties will not be copied files. This can be ignored.

    * Windows Live Mail do not work with files that are not on a local drive, as opposed to an external or network drive. This is avoided by using the office as a temporary folder location.
    * If you want to export the files sampled only, select each of them containing messages. Subfolders are not automatically selected by default.
