  It depends on who built your touchpad.  Each company has different settings and put them in different places. You can check this common location, but it is not a guarantee.

• Simple mouse click randomly acts as a double click

  For some time now, on my system, whenever I click (left or right) with my mouse, it works as I double-clicked. It is a random behavior and is not always the case.

  Sometimes I can go a few minutes without getting that kind of behavior, but it seems that the more I use my mouse (click wise County), gets this more aggressive behavior. It generates a lot of click mouse (and high-low) messages from windows with a single click.

  I managed to work on a fix for this.

  Problem = double tap to get a click event for the button to work on the Apple iPad or iPhone.

  I have iTunes 12.3.3.17 on an iMac running 10.10.5 Yosemite.  I have a strange problem where in iTunes, I double-click on a particular song, but the next time song.  The next song played depends on whether or not I shuffle defined or not.  If shuffle is set, the next song is random.  If shuffle is not defined, then this is the next song in the album.  I can double click on any other song in any list, and it will play.  It's the only song that I found that will not play.  Still, it climbs to the next song.  I can be in a playlist.  I can be in 'my music '.  When I double-click on this song, always plays the next song.

  The audio file may be damaged. Since you downloaded from the iTunes store, you should be able to remove it and then re - download the purchase without problem.

  I just bought a 7 run 8.1 flow win specifically for Ham Radio software that decodes the digital signals of my radio. The program that I am running is WSJT ver 1.5.

  The question I have is that double tap/double click in this software seems to be disabled. I tried to change the compatibility of the program to Win XP, Win 7, etc, but it makes no difference. I've updated the drivers, once again no difference.

  The software works fine on Win 8 and 10 to win on two laptops that I have access to

  Touch screen double click the work fine in Windows?  I have 10 Windows installed on my Stream 7, if I click once on the Recycle Bin on my desktop it highlights it.  If I double-click on it, it opens. There is the double click speed setting in the mouse settings also where you can test.  If it works with Windows, but not this software, you can check with the Publisher of the software?

  Without adequate testing, it is almost impossible to know whether or not the issue is related to hardware or software. There is a very simple test to say: reinstall the operating system. If you reinstall Windows and the remains of the question, the hardware is defective. If reinstalling Windows solves the problem, it was a software conflict.
