  It is possible that this could be a hardware problem, try the following.

  In the Menu start, open the all programs, open accessories, right-click on command prompt and select "run as Administrator".  In at the prompt, type the following command and press ENTER.

  sfc/scannow                (Note that there is a space between sfc and /)

  Let the entire process, then the output type and press ENTER.

  Go to Device Manager and uninstall the keyboard like you did before.

  Then shut down the computer, disconnect the power adapter and remove the battery.  Press and hold the Power button for 30 seconds.  Reinsert the battery and plug in the AC adapter.

  Robinet tap away at the key esc that you start the computer to launch the Start Menu, and then select f10 to open the bios menu.  Press f5 to load the default values (sometimes it's f9, but the menu below indicates the correct key), use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press ENTER.  Press f10 to save the setting and still use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press on enter.

  The c700 series uses SATA hard drives and Windows XP will not see a SATA hard drive without help. You have to load the driver for a SATA hard drive with the installation disk XP in "slipstreaming" of the pilot in the disc or using a usb floppy drive. Windows Vista and 7 and 8 will work fine with SATA drives out of the box. Post back for more information or see here:

  Yours is one of the models of "moderate." Simply follow the instructions on the link, or by post if you need help. You can also go into the BIOS and disable native SATA so that the system detects the disc as an ordinary IDE drive.   I just bought a 2nd hand HP Compaq nc6400 laptop (XP Professional) and it did not come with Recovery CD, so I wanted to know if there is a way for me to create these.

  I want to create a CD of recovery like that normally, you get when you buy a compluter again, can I use to reinstall the operating system (win XP Prof) in the case of a major on my laptop problem/mistake, which is to put the cd in the restart of the computer laptop and follow the instructions on the screen to restore the computer to its factory settings.

  I searched the HP support site and found a lot of info, but I'm confused way forward.

  I have a desktop computer Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit with an ASUS M4A87TD EVO motherboard. Recently, I have a problem with my Wired Saitek Eclipse PZ30AU keyboard: when I type, the typical button does not appear on the screen. In other words, the keys are unresponsive. The keyboard is turned on, if the office is enabled/disabled. Even if, at the time, while he was working, the light is always disabled whenever the office is off. After that I downloaded all three files, I installed the chipset driver and USB driver in uncompressing them, by clicking on each file, by clicking on Setup. For some reason, the BIO 2001 pilot had only a ROM file, so I just deleted total. After installing and restarting the computer, the keyboard does not.

  I want to emphasize that, before even manually, download the drivers, I tried using WIndows Update to install all important and recommended updates. After the computer restarts, the guarded keyboard lights flashing on and outside.
  So, I ask two things:
  1.) how does my original keyboard does not work on my desktop, but works on my laptop? And my keyboard works for both laptop and desktop?
  2.) can I keep I have installed the drivers or uninstall them?

• How can I get my scanner HP scanjet 4670 for work with W7?

  Sorry, I should have stated that my OS is Win 7 Pro 64-bit.  I have a C4100 and a scanner HP C4400 HP doesn't seem to have any drivers that would work on 64-bit.   I decided to install the virtual XP on my Dell XPS700 with Win7 Pro 64 bit OS.  That worked really well as I can boot normally and then go start the virtual XP and I managed to download the latest version of the software and drivers for XP in this virtual drive.   This allows me to do what I want with a scanner and I use the HP software to control everything.  I'm tired of a program called VueScan that I bought as he said he would work but discovered it was worthless.  So I ended up going the virtual XP mode as a way to continue to communicate with my two scanners.  Works very well.

  I will go back and check the HP website and maybe they decided to update their drivers (but I doubt of this kind).  Found the same problem with my card its Creative X - fi.  There is absolutely no driver for Win7 Pro 64-bit.   They have recently released some drivers supporting same Win 8 64 bit, but they don't work well.  Ended up getting a new card SBx creative and it works beautifully.  Businesses do not seem to care about existing systems more! :-(
