  Looks like that it is an unknown issue to the guys at Dell. And what's worse, there is no explicit statement of Dell so 7840 supports exFAT or does not work.

  In anyway, if someone else in need. The problem could be solved to some extent by using StickyMount app, but it requires root and fuse-exfat.

  Virtualinfra is right that you must use a different subnet for NFS traffic. You masked the IP range, so I don't see what you use, but make sure that the vmkernel and storage using a single subnet, not the management subnet. If you get an error, your use of a subnet that goes out the default gateway of the management port, or that you are using the same subnet.

  Also, make sure that the vmnic can route traffic on that subnet, as in the case of the use of VLANs.

  The thing about Javascript of concurrency is that there is none. JavaScript has only one thread running code, so its impossible for two things happen at the same time. How you have coded your db transaction there will ALWAYS dbready before execution of your selection.

  SQL database functions are functions all asynchronous, so the methods will return immediately and call your reminders when they can then (ie they have a result set for you). So the only way to really know if it successful is not for function executeSql to finish, but when the successCallback is invoked.

  The next logical step is the reinstallation of XP.  Ridiculous.

  It turns out it was a rootkit that had messed up my MBR.  GMER found and taken care of him.
