Access to storage E6900

I can read, but does not change the content on my storage.

I want full access.  The drive was pre loaded when directly connected to my machine and then added to the router as external storage.  None of the files were protected and I had full access on my windows system, but can't find a way to give me full access now its connected to the router as external storage.

Appreciate any input.

On your computer can copy all the files you want write access to the file created through the router. Also long as file permissions are inherited that should solve the problem.

  • Lolipop 8 7840 place access to storage with exFAT file system

I plugged an external drive with USB OTG cable, the Tablet detects it but says it is empty or use the unknown file system.

Is it possible to access the data on the formatted exFAT storage?

Looks like that it is an unknown issue to the guys at Dell. And what's worse, there is no explicit statement of Dell so 7840 supports exFAT or does not work.

In anyway, if someone else in need. The problem could be solved to some extent by using StickyMount app, but it requires root and fuse-exfat.

  • Permission to access local storage problem

Hi guys recently I'm developing an application with the purpose of storing images downloaded from the internet to local storage.
So I did some tests on a 8310. On this particular model he kept asking permission whenever he wanted access to local storage or network. It was slightly boring during normal operation but is impossible to use demand because he asked me for what seemed like every download of the image. On all my tests to date (especially on the 8800 and Perl series) I am able to respond at a time and give permanent security permissions requests access to the network, GPS and local storage.
Is there a way to get the application to make a time permissions configuration?

Application for authorization, the code is

    ApplicationPermissions permRequest = new ApplicationPermissions();
    permRequest.addPermission (ApplicationPermissions. PERMISSION_FILE_API);
    ApplicationPermissionsManager.getInstance () .invokePermissionsRequest (permRequest);

  • Competitive access to storage

    Hello

I have 2 guests (PowerEdge R710) running Oracle Enterprise Linux 5.7, access to a directly connected (PowerVault MD3200i) storage (no switch between the two). I also installed and configured the multipath.

Everything seems to work fine, until I noticed that when I make a change to the host-1 storage (for example: create a file) this change cannot be seen by host-2 all accessing the same storage (same directory)! In fact, the only way host-2 could see the change was after a reboot...

Can someone give me an indication of what I could do wrong?  :)
    Thanks in advance.

Unless you use a global or cluster, the file system which is the expected behavior.   Each node is believes that she has this drive exclusively.  It does not periodically coordinate or review the content of the disc.  It's what we call a 'Double Mount".  It causes corruption in the long term, 100% certainty.  As a node selects a block to write, and the other node might use that one even.  Or if you restart a node will be served the State of the drive as he knows.

It must be addressed IMMEDIATELY.   On the 'inactive' node remove the power cord, do NOT stop the node.  Otherwise, cache will be served.  (or pull the cable network then stop)

On the active node, remove the partitions and run fsck on them.

  • Access NAS storage of ESXi Server using VMKernel Port?

    Hello

I would like to know the best procedure to connect to the NAS storage of ESXi host 5. I am able to connect to the NAS storage according to the screenshots listed in the link below.

    http://www.tintri.com/blog/2011/11/connecting-vSphere-to-NFS-the-easy-way/

But, I saw different configurations in the past where port dedicated VMkernel is assigned to NAS and all storage goes into network 10 G. I try to do the same and created a VMkernel for NAS port. But I don't think that traffic is going over there as it is not used at all.

I gave the IP address of the ESXi server on the NAS box to get access. I couldn't give address IP VMkernel sideways NAS. How can I make use of this IP VMKernel dedicated NFS storage?

I want to implement the best way to pass NAS 10 G network traffic. In addition, How can I test if storage traffic crosses VMkernel port?

    Suggestions needed.

Virtualinfra is right that you must use a different subnet for NFS traffic. You masked the IP range, so I don't see what you use, but make sure that the vmkernel and storage using a single subnet, not the management subnet. If you get an error, your use of a subnet that goes out the default gateway of the management port, or that you are using the same subnet.

I wrote a few articles on the use of NFS with vSphere: http://wahlnetwork.com/2012/04/19/nfs-on-vsphere-a-few-misconceptions/

Also, make sure that the vmnic can route traffic on that subnet, as in the case of the use of VLANs.

  • I can't access my storage iCloud, he said I had nothing when I got 5 GB, but I brought a few more hoping that would work, but it always says that I have no storage when I should

I have an iPhone 5s and have recently run out of storage, that's why I created my iCloud where he said I 5.0 GB free storage, however when I came to try to take a picture, he said I had run out of storage. Then I thought that I had to buy some more, after that I had brought a little I tried to take pictures and he said: I have no storage. I don't know how to get my work in storage.

The message probably refers to the storage on your phone, not necessarily to iCloud.

Settings > general > storage on your phone. Only Belvedere storage iCloud, look at the numbers of superior storage.

  • Access to 'Storage used' field via PowerCLI

Can I use PowerCLI total field 'storage provioned' for all the vmdk on a virtual machine, then the field "Storage used" visible in total client vsphere, know the total amount of space is provisioned vs. how much is used for one machine virtual?

You can store the virtual machine in a variable and then perform your calculations directly on the properties

    $vm = Get-VM -Name MyVM$vm.ProvisionedSpaceGB - $vm.UsedSpaceGB

  • Windows cannot access USB storage disks.

Last Tuesday, all my USB devices worked well.  Now, when I attach a flash drive, windows detects the drive, load the driver, it assigns a drive letter, BUT the drive appears as not formatted with no data.
By clicking on the player will display the message "the disc in the drive that e is not formatted.  Do you want to format it now?'.»
All disks are formatted.  All readers operate in other machines.
All readers will work also in this machine (Dell laptop) IF the laptop is started using a Win7 recovery CD.
    USB mouse works
    Œuvres for USB keyboard
It's not a hardware problem or a problem of hard drive type.
I have tried the following with no changes:
-Restore to a date before last Tuesday when readers were working.
-Tried to change the drive letter - readers receive a letter and letters of mutation did nothing.
-Check the Device Manager for errors - none is present.
-Uninstalled all attached and only USB devices.
-Uninstalled all USB devices, hubs, etc and restarted - rebuild the USB stack.
-Using the registry manually deleted the USB devices.  HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Enum\USB\ and HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Enum\USBSTOR
    -Manually deleted C:\Windows\inf\INFCACHE.1
-Copied a usbstor.sys from another machine
    -Cleaning of registry with ccleaner
-Check the IRQ issues - none apparent.  No 'conflict' have been found.
-Turned off the laptop and pulled the battery.  The Board is reset.
-Windows Update - all to this day.
-A little advice was to roll back SP3 but this laptop does not have a single SP3 spunist.exe.  I could not cancel it.
    Does anyone have advice?
The next logical step is the reinstallation of XP.  Ridiculous.

    Problem solved!

It turns out it was a rootkit that had messed up my MBR.  GMER found and taken care of him.
Thanks for all your help guys!
  • BlackBerry Smartphones how Access Storage Device

Hi guys, I can't find how to access my bb 9900's "BOLD" of storage internal, if I'm not mistaken, he has a memory of 8 GB internal, is - this exact?

    Hey Nail22,

Welcome to the community of BlackBerry Support Forums.

    Thanks for the question.

You use a PC or a Mac to access the storage internal?  Also for applications, it is limited to 2 GB, which also includes operating system.

Also turn on mass storage mode access to the internal memory, follow the steps described in this article: www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB13564

Let me know if you have any other questions.

    See you soon.

  • VSAN guests can access the FC SAN storage at the same time?

Soon we will invest in new ESXi hosts and we want to design them for the ability to VSAN. But since VSAN is a fairly new technology, we also want the same hosts to act as our old guests and have warehouses of data in our SAN (FC SAN attached storage) environment.

Host VSANS have access to VSAN and FC SAN storage at the same time?

What advantages and disadvantages do you see with this design?

Yes, there is nothing to stop an ESXi participating both host a cluster VSAN, and also had access other storage taken in charge of protocols such as NFS, FC, FCoE or iSCSI.

However, you will not be able to use the LUNS or Volumes presented on NFS, FC, FCoE or iSCSI for storage VSAN.

VSAN requires local disks to build the VSAN data store.

I guess the only concern would be the additional management that comes with having many types of different storage, but this is true even if VSAN wasn't in the picture.

    My question (s):

    (1) I have a valid subscription of cloud.  I need to know how to access cloud storage.

    (2) can I create a storage folder on the cloud to Adobe that will allow my team members test web pages and animations created on the edge?

You can use the synchronization of files and collaboration to share your work edge animate.

If you just want to share a view only one reading of a file use the feature link to send instead of work.

  • Connection of external USB storage

I connected an external hard drive (WD "My Passport", 300 GB) USB to my router (Cisco EA6500). The drive has been formatted to NTFS. My services 3 computers router.

I looked at the Linksys WiFi Smart 'External storage' tools and see the FTP server is 'On', DLNA is 'On' and ensure access to records is 'On '. Access to the files tab all my computers have the permission to write & Edit and Delete actions.

The external drive appears in the LinkSys WiFi Smart as a 'Network Device' online program.

But it does not appear in Windows Explorer (or file such that named in 10 Windows Explorer).

I'm unable to access this storage to record data, how do I do so?

Hi, rszanti. Were you able to map a network drive on your computer? Network drive mapping is necessary so that you can access a device USB storage or storage network (SIN) attached to your router.
