  I'm going to install Acrobat Pro XI of the disk for the first time.  The research I've done, I think I will ask you to choose a standard, full or custom installation.  I'm kinda a rookie to Acrobat and am not sure the best route to go.  Without knowing what everything is included on the disk for a complete installation, or what might be included in a default installation, it is difficult to know which one to choose.  I guess that go with Custom would let me choose components to install, but, once again, not knowing what are my options who made a choice hard!  Hard drive space is not a problem, so I'm tempted to go with a full installation.  That said, if a full install will load 16G (constituting this number!) language packs I never use, I can give up this option!  I also read that updates cause Acrobat to grow, once again file size, update a bunch of stuff that I never use seems as imprudent.  Advice or advice on the different installation options would be much appreciated.

  Hi David,

  Setup, like many, provides the user with the possibility to choose some optional features. The 'Standard' version is just the Basic program and features more would ask. Complete will install all components optional and will custom allow you to select additional features beyond the bare.

  Some of the options for Acrobat include language modules and fonts Asian PDF Maker for various programs such as MS Office and AutoCAD.

  When you install Acrobat you will get 3 options Standard, Complete installation & custom. Choose custom and move forward. It will give you an option to change the installation location.

  Found Acrobat reader used cleaner DC and 11 versions, have reinstalled successfully the v11. I'm good for now.

  I can't get Acrobat Standard XI to install completely.  I tried many things, without success.  It will run up to a point but then hit a wall.  I have version 8 and others still on the computer; I tried to uninstall completely, but could not do that either.

  And I get this message: error 1714.  Cannot remove the old version of WAA Acrobat XI STandard.  Contact your technical support group.

  Installation interrupted.  Your system has not changed.  To complete installation at another time, please run the installation again.

  If they do not appear in the Add/Remove list (looks like XP), then 8 AA or AA 7 are active in the registry (that vacuuming is trying to do). You can also give CCleaner a race to clean the registry for flying over the things that are most active. However, given that the system apparently does them not like being programs, that you should be able to simply delete the two folders. I suggest that you back up files to a backup disk before deletion just for safety, but it really shouldn't be a problem. If you uninstall Reader 11, you might have to do a repair to AA XI. I let the other two only (Flash and Viewer).

  I just bought qosmio g30-137 of the Germany. My laptop had a German version of windows and I installed winXP PRO Greek edition. I have a problem with the graphics card driver. I downloaded from the TOSHIBA site. While I do Setup search the driver files that does not exist and I can't complete installation. I would like to know if anyone knows where I can find a driver to complete the procedure or if anyone knows what the problem is and how I resolve?
  Also starting from TOSHIBA site some installation instructions that explain how to do the installation with the appropriate sequence. Also, I would like to know where I can find the chipset driver?

  Why you suggest that the graphics driver has a malfunction?

  I guess you can not complete the original installation of the Win operating system due to the RAID driver and graphics driver. This unit has been delivered with RAID function and you need to install the RAID driver at the beginning of the installation of the OS.

  In addition there is also an instruction and installation utility chipset on the Toshiba driver page.

  I get a "Error 1628: failed to complete Installation" when installing under Windows 7.
  I open the DVD and right click on Setup.exe to run as administrator.

  I found some info on the internet to try to go in administrative tools - local security policy - Software Restriction policies - updated in application and verification of all users except thing administrators, but nothing helped.

  I remember when installing on a previous Vista machine, I had the same problem, but I don't remember what I did, but there is obviously some kind of security problem.

  I have install from (only) on the machine and there of course administrator rights. The account has no password. I tried to create an other administrator account that I gave a password and tried to install it from her, but that didn't help either.

  I also tried the following, after a suggestion from Activision:

  1 create a folder "test" on your desktop.
  2. go to the "My Computer" screen
  3. right click on the DVD drive located in the game disc, and select "explore".
  4. copy all the files and folders that you see here and paste in your 'test' folder on your desktop.

  The copy process must begin now. If the game has copied correctly for you, then try to install the game from the "setup.exe" file in your copied folder.

  This did not help either.
