  • the computer clock does not refresh automatically

    My computer clock remains at 11/12/2002, no matter how many times I change time clock, when I go on the internet I can not go on hotmail or other websites, for security reasons.

    Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me with this!

    Hello

    1 did you change your computer, after which the issue started?
    2. what browser do you use to access the Web site?

    Check your time 'BIOS' by going to the configuration to start the computer.  Make sure that the time is also on you want to be.

    Warning of the BIOS:
    BIOS change / semiconductor (CMOS) to complementary metal oxide settings can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the configuration of the BIOS/CMOS settings can be solved. Changes to settings are at your own risk.

    You probably have a failed in your motherboard CMOS battery. It's a battery power supply NET, size piece that keeps your system settings when your computer is off.

  • Computer clock keeps time

    Why my computer clock will not keep the right time?, I have continually put wright through "change date and time" in the control panel.  I have Vista Home Premium

    http://www.howtogeek.com/HOWTO/Windows-Vista/dealing-with-Windows-Vista-time-sync-problems/

    If you have problems with your time while the computer is running normally, read the info on the link above on how synchronize your time for a time, to maintain the correct time server.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    On the other hand, if you set your time properly, turn off your computer, turn it on and the weather has changed to a previous Date/hour/year, there is somethimg else.
    There is a battery of size piece, trickle-feed in your motherboard, which manages the time and settings while your computer is turned off.
    It may run out.
    If that's the problem, it costs about $5 to replace.
  • Cannot join Homegroup because the computer clock does not match normal time
    I have both windows 7 Home premium, a HP and a Compaq laptops. I can create a homegroup on either, but when opening homegroup on the other page he says that no residential groups exist on the network. The two laptops see each other in exploring it. During troubleshooting, the only error is "synchronize the clock of your computer with your local time. Option is provided to apply the hotfix. When you click to apply the hotfix, it fails with the message "the system time differs from your local time. Times are visibly identical. The time on the router is also exactly two laptops. What standard time windows compares to and how do I make them match?
    I suspect that the most likely cause would be the two laptops are on different time zones.  Check the time zone in a right click on the clock in the taskbar and selecting "change date and time.  In this dialog box will have an option to set the time zone.
  • Is there anyway for too the computer clock to download the best way is not to spoil your pc overheating?
    Dear Microsoft Community: beds of computer cannot download right, any other way? Fear my PC gets hot like it was car closing with abnormally slow graphics since I was on it too much clock. I tried my best to turn off the computer in any other way, only the computer screen.
    Thanks to all the ideas!
    Hello
    ·         What is the brand and model of the computer/motherboard?
    ·         Have what measures you tried to overclock the computer?
    ·         What is the brand and model of graphics card?
    Overclocking has negative effects such as the heat while introducing wait states that actually causes the computer to run more slowly.
    Check with the manufacturer of the computer Support as well as the motherboard supports Forums. You will need to contact the manufacturer of your computer for more details on this. They may be able to help the better.
    Overclocking risks:
    Overclocking comes with plenty of risks, such as overheating, so you should become familiar with all the pros and cons before trying it. In addition, overclocking is not supported by the manufacturers of major chips which means overclocking your processor will void your warranty. Overclocking can also decrease the life of the CPU, causing the failure of critical components and can even result in a corruption of the data. You may also notice an increase in unexplained accidents and freezes.
    Hope this information is useful. Please let us know if you need further assistance.
    If he loses time between when you turn off and on again, it's a sign that maybe it's that the CMOS battery has failed.
    Battery size piece, trickle of power is to keep system settings when the computer is turned off.
    They cost about $5 to buy.
    my hotmail for sent emails page does not show the exact time of the date of mailing.  can it be fixed or is it still important?  However, the computer shows the date and time of the day on the date icon and time (Control Panel) and on the bottom toolbar.
    The time indicated on the Hotmail messages depends on the time or areas in your account data. Head to your nickname in Hotmail and select account. In the page Overview of the account , click change next to country/region. Change the time zones for the good.
    Hotmail has its own support at the Windows Live Solution Centerforums. Please address any other question you may have on one of the forums on the right side of this page.
  • Skype clock problems
    Hi all. I use the latest version of Skype and is now, for some reason, running three hours behind my computer clock. [Ex; my computer say 11:00 and Skype will say that the message is sent at 08:00.]
    I get messages the same way. My friend will answer to something I said, and it will appear under mine, but also say that he has been sent three hours before. Essentially, Skype works fine it's just wildly incorrect time display. I followed a suggestion here and checked that Skype has been set on time - my computer is it. So I'm not entirely sure what's going on.
    Does anyone have a solution?
    This means that the time on your computer is set to a wrong time zone.
