Computer freezes and my event log is suggesting a WMI error

I checked the forums of these resources and tried a few things, but I can't get my laptop to stop freezing on me. My event log indicates a WMI error.  And try a restore of the system in safe mode uses an error code of «the instruction at 0x76042f91 referenced memory at 0x75d90640.» The memory could not be written. ", as well as a suggestion to run chkdsk, which does not work and I am logged into my account."  Seems that none of my apps don't introduce, even let the program inactive windows five minutes freezes me on the pc.  Sorta stuck.  Usually I take my Windows cd and rub the pc and start over this.  But the pc didn't come with a license diskette.  So, what should I do?

I did as you said. It has been effective. But only to play the first video clip on youtube. With the next video, the error appeared again. I looked at the programs and saw the customer to be automatically updated to 11.3 flash...
After that I tried to read a music video by realplajer and who has a problem too. by seeking out them in true originator, I founded there a conflict with the 1.3 flash payer... and disabling the Web download & recording of Realplayer was the solution finally.
After that my PC works fine.

  • Computer freezes and makes strange noises during playback of videos

    Hello

As of late my computer was irritating me.

When I go to play videos, or sometimes when I listen to music, the computer screen everything will freeze and (sometimes) it sounds like something of a transformer movie.

The first freeze upwards, it usually comes out of it on his own. But a freeze on second or third place, I have to force the computer to shut down.

I noticed it only freezes up when I play games on my computer. Games on the internet [like on Facebook] can make freeze however.

Usually he never appears with an error, so I can't provide any help out there. When this all started upwards, it was a pop up on the display driver to have to restart itself (or something of the sort). But I saw only once and have not yet see it again.

It's my laptop Asus U50F-RBBAG05 who works in Windows 7. All of my software like Java and others are updated, to my knowledge.

It is, possible solutions? Or explanations? Or my computer went "off the deep end" and I might have to consider getting a new? :(

[Not quite sure that this issue falls under the topic sorry in advance.]

    Hello

    1. did you of recent changes to the computer?

    2. you're talking about music or videos online or you're talking about for videos and music stored on the hard drive?

Step 1: first of all I suggest you to update the video card and display drivers for manufacturing sites.

Activate the clean boot, refer to step 1 in the link below:
How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7

If everything works well after a clean boot, you can deduce that some third-party services are at the origin of the problem.
Continue with the remaining steps to pin-point on the third party service.
Note: after find you the program that is causing the problem, you will have to perhaps to update or install a newer version of the program, if you rarely use that you should consider uninstalling the software
ATTENTION:-do not forget to put the computer to a normal startup followed step 7 in the link.

  • Computer freezes (and screen changes colors) when playing games with Windows 7

I upgraded from Windows Vista to Windows 7 view a month ago and since then I had problems. I'm going to play a game like Left 4 Dead 2, World of Warcraft, counter-strike: Source, etc and I suddenly freezes. My screen freezes and the colors a bit (some of the colors will turn red and some of the colors will turn to a brighter color, etc.). The sound will also freeze and repeat a few milliseconds what it was. My computer is plugged into a power bar and is kept nice and cold, with a fan who helps him at all times and my window still open - there is some dust out there but I don't think she'd cela.

This happens maybe once or twice every two days, and it has never happened when I'm not in a game. It is not a memory problem, I'm only using about 2 GB, 3 GB when it arrives. I always end up having to press the power button on my computer to restart it.

    Help, please.

    Tyvak,
The first suggestion that Aziz has is not the map upgrade but for the driver update.  After the upgrade to Windows 7, you must update all the drivers for your hardware (graphics, sound, NETWORK, card etc...).  The best way to do it is to go on the hardware manufacturer's website and get the latest drivers.  If you have a name brand PC (Dell, HP, etc.) then they usually all drivers for the hardware, but some (usually the drivers graphics) is perhaps not the most recent.  First, make sure that your drivers are up to date and then test the games. • Computer freezing and startup repair does not solve the problem.

fix my computer when windows start dump then launch startup, but does not solve the problem. Can you help me solve the problem

    Hi Wwiese,

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

I understand from the description of the problem, the computer freezes in the commissioning on the Windows 7 computer.

I would appreciate if you can help me with the following information.

1 were there any hardware or software changes made on the computer before this problem?

    2. are you able to boot into office?

    3. you receive an error message/code?

I suggest you try these methods and check if it helps.

    Method 1

Disconnect all external devices (printers, scanner, USB (universal serial bus) drives, etc...) Except the keyboard and mouse and then start.

If this solves the problem, then add back devices at a time until you discover the piece of hardware causing the issue. Then download drivers software updated for this particular device.

    Method 2

Try to start in last good known Configuration and see if you can start very well.

Using the last good known Configuration

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/is-is/Windows7/using-last-known-good-configuration

    Method 3

Start the computer in safe mode and check if the problem persists, if the question does not persist then perform the clean boot and check if the problem resolves.

    Step 1

Safe mode starts Windows with a limited set of files and drivers. Startup programs do not work in safe mode, and only the basic drivers needed to start Windows are installed. Please click the below mentioned link.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/start-your-computer-in-safe-mode

    Step 2

Put the computer in a clean boot state to see if there is a software conflict as the clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

Note: After completing the steps in the clean boot troubleshooting, follow step 3 from the link to start the computer to a Normal startupmode.

    Method 4

If the problem persists, I suggest you perform a startup repair and check if it makes a difference.

  • Computer, freeze, and Microsoft Security Essentials scan stop on this file each time: c:\Program HP Imaging\bin\hpqthb08.exe

My computer, one almost four years, Dell Inspiron 1454 with Windows XP Pro, continues to freeze when left to sit for a few minutes. Also, I discovered that when I run the Microsoft Security Essentials quick or full scan analyzing stops on the file HP Digital Imaging mentioned above several times.  I was wondering if this means something on the reason why the computer freezes up. Also, Windows Live Mail continually lets me know that it is "not responding." Yet once, I guess it's because of the freezing problem not Windows Live Mail is the cause. I do not know.  I made some different system using different dates restorations and who has not solved anything so far. I use the computer during a run without problem, but if I have a cup of coffee, for example, I have to restart when I return. Sometimes, the slider moves, sometimes not, but no matter the computer is unresponsive after that I took a break or just out of the blue when I try to open an e-mail or another task. I guess it's time for a Mac, but I thought I'd see if anyone has some ideas on how to solve this problem. Thank you!

    Hello, Olivia,.

This problem is probably due to an outdated HP Digital Imaging monitor. Even if you decided to switch to a Mac, the question may still popup because you have installed hpqthb08.exe.

Fortunately, there is an update that you can apply.

    SP26427. EXE

Or you can simply disable HP Digital Imaging Monitor.
