Computer HP laptop doesn't recognize not hard

Hello

I have a HP 620 (Pentium D 2, 3 GHz, 1 GB Ram) and it does not recognize the hard drive. The battery does not seem too much work.

If I try to install Windows, it is said that it found no hard drives. The test of diagnosis in the BIOS says the same thing.

The DVD player is as ugly as * beep *.

Do you guys some tips about the cause of this problem.

System information screenshot below

You have entered the UEFI PC Diagnostics to see if components tests show the hard drive?

Considered remove the original hard disk, and then reinstall it and try again see if it is recognized like beong installed?

You can also put another hard drive to his place to see if it is recognized.

    Had a project done using first items 11 (the file exported and posted on youtube).  All the media files and PRE files associated with this project were located in the same folder on an external hard drive.  Got a new computer, responsible for first 11 elements (which of course doesn't recognize not all previous projects because it is a new installation) and now cannot open the original project to make some adjustments (connected to the external hard drive of course)...  Even tried to open the last saved auto program as well, no luck.  Just get a shell of the original project, but no real media file is passed in. Did you use the recovery process HP plant or install using a different operating system disk? If the latter, you need to install the drivers for all your hardware, including drivers for wireless network cards. You will get only the pilot specific support for your laptop model HP Web site tech.

    If by "wireless card" you mean that you have a 3G USB modem through your cell phone provider, contact the cell phone provider for help with that. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

    I have model X60s: 17044JU

    Hello

    We read the questions and try to give solutions to the best of our ability, depending on the quality of the information you provide on the problem.

    We do not work for Microsoft.

    We are mainly volunteers here, just like you, computer users who give free advice from other users in our own spare time.

    @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

    Unless you have the SP1 and SP2 installed, there is no support for Vista; Microsoft support ended.

    You say that you do not have SP1 installed, then of course we give you instructions on how to install it.

    And when you post here complain about anything doesn't work for you, publish a list of the things you have already tried.

    It is not installed if it does not appear under properties

    Click Start > right click on computer > left click on properties > see if you have Vista 32 bit or Vista 64-bit installed.

    It will also tell you which SP you have installed (apparently without SP).

    Then, choose the download of 'bit' OK to use to install Service Packs, installation of SP1 first if it is not already installed.

  • Computer Dell laptop doesn't detect the TV via HDMI connection.

    I have a Dell Inspiron N5110 with Windows 7 and a Samsung TV. Whenever I plug my HDMI cable, the only thing I see on my TV screen is No Signal. It is on the correct entry, but my computer still does not recognize the second monitor.
    I have connected my laptop to a front projector, and it worked fine.

    I had problems connecting my laptop before and then finished by needing a new hard drive... So I now have a new hard drive (cool!) but I can not determine what the problem... In devices, Graphics Manager, it says Intel(r) HD Graphics Family and Standard VGA Graphics Adapter. The other has a small yellow triangle with an exclamation point, but when I ask Windows to see if it's updated, it says that Windows has determined that it is up-to-date.

    Help, please!

    I had the same problem as you. Initially, I went to dell drivers

I had to also download the same file, the nVIDIA GeForce GT 525 M Graphics Driver (it was my graphics card, if you have the ATI card you download driver ATI). When I installed the last, I was ready to go... Download and install these two drivers and you will solve this problem!

  • Computer HP laptop window vista does not load please help

    someone asked this question and I have the same problem!

    I have a laptop HP who have dirtied pre-installed Vista and for some reason after installing automatically 3 updates the other day, he is not now charge up. The laptop is plugged in so it can configure 3 updates without failure (due to something like battery dying).

    When the laptop turns on, it gives me two options:
    • Start the reboot system (recommended)
    • Start Windows normally
    If I click on 'Launch Startup Repair', he comes back to do the same screen with them two options and when I click on "Start Windows normally", the laptop everything restarts and then return to this screen.
    Thus, F8-ing it does not help either - it gives me options like computer repair, Mode safe mode, last known good, etc... but none of these helped either.
    I looked around online for a solution, but most say on the use of the Vista installation CD, but the operating system is installed on a partition on the laptop (also there are files on what I would come down)... However I do not know if I can get it to boot on the installation partition either
    I tried F8, F11, F12 and nothing works

    If the system or Mode restore safe work not and you do not have a Microsoft Vista DVD, make a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:

    Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.

    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

    When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

    http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial148.html

    Link above shows what the process looks like and a manual, it load the repair options.

    NeoSmart containing the content of the Windows Vista DVD 'Recovery Centre', as we refer to him. It cannot be used to install or reinstall Windows Vista, and is just a Windows PE interface to recovering your PC. Technically, we could re-create this installation with downloadable media media freely from Microsoft (namely the Microsoft WAIK, several gigabyte download); but it is pretty darn decent of Microsoft to present Windows users who might not be able to create such a thing on their own.

    Read all the info on the website on how to create and use:

    ISO Burner:http://www.snapfiles.com/get/active-isoburner.html

    It's a very good Vista startup repair disk.

    You can do a system restart tool, system, etc it restore.

    It is NOT a disc of resettlement.

    And the 32-bit is what normally comes on a computer, unless 64-bit.

    Data recovery:

    1. slave of your hard drive in another computer and read/save your data out there.

    2. put your Hard drive in a USB hard drive case, plug it into another computer and read/save from there.

    3 Alternatively, use Knoppix Live CD to recover data:

    http://www.Knopper.NET/Knoppix/index-en.html

    Download/save the file Knoppix Live CD ISO above.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    http://isorecorder.alexfeinman.com/isorecorder.htm
    Download the Vista software from the link above.
    After installing above ISO burning software, right click on the Knoppix ISO file > copy the Image to a CD.
    Knoppix is not installed on your PC; use only the resources of your PC, RAM, graphics etc.
    Change the boot order in YOUR computer/laptop to the CD/DVD Drive 1st in the boot order.
    Plug a Flash Drive/Memory Stick, BOOT with the Live CD, and you should be able to read the hard drive.
    When the desktop loads, you will see at least two drive hard icons on the desktop (one for your hard drive) and one for the USB key.
    Click on the icons of hard drive to open and to understand which drive is which.
    Click the icon for the USB drive and click on "Actions > Change the read/write mode" so you can write to disk (it is read-only by default for security reasons).
    Now to find the files you want to back up, just drag and drop them on the USB. When you're done, shut down the system and remove the USB key.
    Vista recovery media obtain and/or use the Partition Recovery Vista on your computer to the factory settings .
    There is no Vista free download legal available.
    Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.
    Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    In addition, ask them if you have a recovery Partition on your computer/laptop to restore it to factory settings.

    See if a manual provided with the computer or go to the manufacturer's website, email or you can call for information on how to make a recovery.

    Normally, you have to press F10 or F11 at startup to start the recovery process...

    Another way I've seen on some models is press F8 and go to a list of startup options, and launch a recovery of standards of plant with it, by selecting the repair option.
