computer laptop DV9500 fan makes loud noise...

Hi all

Recently, I have problem with my computer 17 "hp laptop. There is a grinding noise coming from a place where the fan is fitted. The noise starts after a few minutes, I start the laptop. I couldn't understand what kind of fan is the cause of problem. Some people said it could be cpu fan or normal or it could be a power supply fan. Recently I installed the software of Notbook hardware control (NHC) and suddenly I'm me extermely low contrast on the screen and the noise stopped. It's never happened before. When the fan starts to make noise I have stop working. After installing this software, I have almost solved the problem, but still it will start intermittently. Could someone tell me what could be the problem?

The heatsink in the many books of HP is of inferior quality.  We know that this is not the cause of hard disk, you do not hear the noise as soon as you turn on the PC.  It is not the optical drive, because you do not run the DVD ROM.  The only other element is the radiator fan.  You must open Notepad and check for the appropriate placement of the radiator.  The fan must turn freely.  Repair or replace as needed.  Remove dusty rabbits that have accumulated over the years.

  • HP Pavilion dv6t-7000 CTO: fan making loud noise, need of replacement but can't find it

So my laptop fan started to make really loud this rattle sound. Makes me very self-consciousness of me when I'm in public, so I just Don ' t bother bringing them along. But I really need my laptop with me. The noise usually comes out randomly.

I tried the HP part Store selector and in the fan section it lists just the fan button, which is not what I need. I think I need to completely replace the fan at this point (I tried to fix the problem of cleaning the fan out of the dust to check it for possible damage, but can not find what is the problem).

If anyone knows where I can find a spare for my laptop fan and I have to buy with all heat sink heat and thermal paste? I'm pretty experience in the repair of the computer so I have confidence that I can do, more my warranty expired in 2014, so I don't be invalidated anyway.

If it helps any, the product is of # A3E83AV.

The noise is usually caused by a defect in the fan motor bearing.

You were on behalf of the incorrect item.

What you need is the discreet thermal module, which contains the fan a heat for the CPU and video sink.

The part number for the product number of your laptop is 682061-001. It's on the document next to the web HP PartSurfer.

  • Smart printing does not print all the image highlighted using IE 9 on my computer laptop dv9500

Recently, I load IE 9 on my laptop dv9500. Operating system is Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit, I found that I could not now use the smart printing software that came with my printer HP Deskjet F4210 software and that I needed to upgrade. I did the upgrade, but now I find that often the application of smart printing print only that 1/2 the area highlighted horizontally on the screen.

I played around with the zoom on the page and suddenly he started to behave normally.

  • My Mac was purchased in November 2014. The fan makes a noise Purring but stops when I lift it and hold it vertically. I just got this back from repair to the workshop of John Lewis as he made a further strong noise.

My Macbook (one and a half year). The fan has become noisy and I just got in return for repair from John Lewis. The problem is that I think that it is still too noisy. He runs not fast, but it is noisier than it was when we bought it first.  The fan noise also stops when I take the Mac on the end. Is this normal?  Thank you.

There is no such thing as a MacBook 1 year and a half with a fan.

    The 12 '' MacBook isn't a fan.

The last MacBook with a fan was the 2010 model.

Perhaps you have a MacBook Air or a MacBook Pro, if so you should post your question to one of these areas of the forum.

  • Portable fan making loud noise? / What should I do?

    Hai,

should I get my laptop cleaned of laptop repair center or can I do it myself... I am a newbie

    Hello

First of all, I would like to get yourself some canned air and try to blow the fan through the vents at the bottom and side.  If after that you still have a problem, and your laptop is under warranty, take in a HP Service Center and ask them to clean it up.  If it is not under warranty you cang and patterns looking towards the top of your machine and then find the service manual.  Then you can get out the screwdriver and get to work cleaning this fan.

The fan draws in air from the bottom and it blows on the side, the problem is that it will also suck in hair, dust bunnies and other debris which is then trapped between the fan and the heat sink.  Over time, it can layer up and choke the airflow to the processor, causing the fan to work more hard and strong.

  • My Satellite C855 makes a noise very loud

    Hello

Today I was playing my games, as usual until my laptop from the sounds of buzzing very, very strong. Instantly, I turned off the laptop. Would be a bit and turned back to the left. Once again, very loud noises. I'm afraid to turn it back on now. IM thinking because it is the fan that is where comes the noise, but I can't be sure.

Any advice on what to do? Someone else had this problem?

    Thank you
    Frozensin

On this virtual path we cannot say with certainty what the problem is, but I can imagine that the cooling fan is responsible for this.
From the first moment you turn on your computer laptop cooling fan is active, so I would like to know if you can hear the noise from the first second after the start.

Is there another type of vibration?

Of course, it is also interesting to know whether or not your laptop is guaranteed to be valid. If so, I recommend that you contact the nearest Toshiba service provider, explain the situation and ask for help.
They can order and exchange cool air.

  • Satellite C670-11 q clicking loud noise the HARD drive

    Hello!

I helped my neighbor to find a new laptop and the entire installation and start-up.

We ordered a C670-11 q and it works very well, theres just a nuisance.
The drive made strong rattling noises, not as a dying or working drive. It's the same sound when you turn a disc, just a lot stronger. I guess that's the "arm of disc" that goes into its safe position.

I don't know if this laptop has a shock sensor to do this? The laptop was flat on the table, and there where NO vibrations while she does. There are no clicks under load, but they occur randomly when walking to the idle or surf/write normal.

I checked also save energy options and disabled to turn the disk, without help.
Also, this seemed odd, because the clicks occur often several times in a row. But there is no doubt it more when running on the battery.

I am running the BIOS and latest drivers in the area of support (as of yesterday).
The disk is configured in performance mode, I'm testing battery economy - should I?

And no, the drive took a beating. I was the first person to turn it on.

The drive is Hitachi, I don't run their analysis - no error.

Any help is greatly appreciated: o)

One of my computer portable HARD drive makes such noise too.

I m not exactly why, but I also think that it is at the head of discs moving record position.

However, I think that this is not really a malfunction since the laptop works pretty well and I didn't notice any problems with the HARD drive or files but I have created a backup of my files, just to be sure that you know
I think you should save the date just to be sure

  • OfficeJet 6500 has more all - all-in-one makes weird noises like strings for guitar was extirpated

Operating system is Windows 7.  Bought 2 years ago.  Worked fine until about 2 months ago, when he started to make loud noises.  Will print still, she began to stop in the middle of print intermittently job.  DIY online resources say that it needs to be cleaned.  I hesitate to try to do this without instructions or other suggestions from HP or a member of the community who has solved this same problem.  Cannot find any printer repair shop that will serve an inkjet.   Any ideas?

    Hello my shadow,

Welcome to the HP Forums! I understand your Officejet 6500 a fact of loud noises. Please follow these steps to try to solve your problem:

Now, determine the noise is coming from can be difficult, and it could also be a number of reasons why.

Make sure that the printer is connected to a live wall, not a surge protector. This step is required because it will check if you have the same problem.

Sometimes paper stuck in the printer can make these noises or to transport back and forth.

This document here, HP is the right section to double check there is no paper in the printer.

Try to clean the rollers of paper of this HP document on The Noise is produced when you print.

  • HP 1000 Notebook PC: Cleaning computer laptop loud fan.

Is it fair to clean my laptop fan with the shoe brush with plastic filaments? I have problem of my laptop computer fan nose after that my repairman he cleaned with a spray WT-40. It's making a lot of noise and causing the battery to disappear quickly, I am managing by plugging the AC adapter for the moment. I'm sure this isn't the best thing to do. Can lubricate the coils / set inside the fan reduce that noise? If so, please suggest some lubricants that are suitable.

Please suggest me a solution if it does not work.

    Thank you.

WT-40 that burned more or less fan adding oil in fans asking for trouble. And now, your technician is responsible for setting their mess, they created. You never add oil in the fan - where did learn to do repairs. You replace the fan with a new fan. You can't fan hurt to become the new worst oil spray, you risk the oil to burn and cause a fire in your laptop.

  • Satellite Pro P100-465: fans make noise

    Hello

I have a P100-465 running XP Pro top. I've had the laptop about 6 months now and the only thing I noticed about this laptop is that it's SO noisy. When you use the laptop, the fans come on and goes off constantly... even if I'm not hungry for resources. is this normal? I understand that the machine is powerful, but I can't believe that this is normal.

I use to have a P25-S670 and fans use to come every now and then to keep the freshness of the machine, but this new laptop is INCREDIBLY annoying. As I type this the fans turn on and off every few seconds. Looks like fans RPM increases significantly, but only for a second or two, then it goes down. In the BIOS, I even put the option for silent mode instead of the performance mode, but this made no difference. I'm running the latest drivers and firmware.

Can someone help please it makes me NUTS! ;-) Is there a way to control the fan speed and noise Windows? I remember my P25 I could change the power in silent mode options and it made quite a big difference.

    Hi mate,

already cleaned your cooling system? Maybe this could be the point because these small ventilation systems are likely to be clobbed by the dust after a while of running.
One idea would be to give your machine a technician and ask him to clean your machine and put a new grease cooling on the CPU.

That should help prevent your machine from overheating or excess of fan noise.

    See you soon

  • make the noise of the fan

my Mac Mini fan makes noise loud rattaling.

    What model Mini?

She has been taken out before?

    What kind of noise?

Is it just run very fast? Or it sounds like something is broken?

I would install a fan speed and application as the fan control Mac free of temperature monitoring or paid iStat.

To monitor the time and the speed of the fan.

  • Qosmio G20: Fan makes an awkward noise when he turns around

    Hey everybody,
Another problem, but not Vista! Although it is always a problem!

My exhaust fan makes a clunky noise when it runs. I hear it's going along and round like a noise of rachetty and then at other times its fine.

Someone at - he had this?
Should I open and give it a clean?

    Hello

It's not easy to tell if the fan is malfunctioning or not.
Qosmio G20 is a laptop very powerful and cooling modules are larger and stronger as modules on any of cooling for powerful laptop.
If you use the solid performance applications such as games or videos of the cooling modules will work with maximum performance and are stronger.

But of course; the cooling module could malfunction. In this case, it must be replaced.

  • Computer laptop closed? Fan overheating?

    Hi all.

I have read many topics on this forum about on any laptop fan not working not, laptop computer overheating or the laptop apparently randomly stopping.

I had this problem for about three months. I tried supporting the laptop so the fan (stupidly positioned in the middle of the base of the laptop!) could get air. He was not arrested, but it was ridiculous to have to raise my laptop everywhere wherever I was going, and fan was also ridiculously strong.

I took my laptop to a doctor and it turns out that there was a fault with the chip on the motherboard that controls the fan. It caused the fan not work properly, causing overheating and computer laptop closed.

I set myself and my laptop is now nice and quiet and I don't have to support it and it is not closed.

Sorry if this is bad news! Hope you can get your laptop fixed!
