  This is what they had me do:

  (1) download the latest version of the software of HP websitefor the 8600 more (did not use the drive)

  (2) downloaded the last HPPrintDrive on the Apple site: HPPrinterDriver2.16.1

  (3) changed my IP address

  (4) install the software on the HP site

  (5) installed the HPPrintDriver from the Apple Web site

  (6) activated Scan of the computer of the HP utility window

  Now scanner my printer work!

• iTunes quits unexpectedly

  For some reason my iTunes crashes and will "Close unexpectedly." I did a clean install of OS X El Capitan and all programs, but I still have questions. I left the My Time Machine backup iTunes folder and all the files are there and functional, but always after about 30 minutes of use - sometimes longer - iTunes will quit unexpectedly. I tried disk utility to see if something was wrong, and he doesn't find anything to fix.

  Im not quite sure what to say, but you might want to try to update iTunes to the app store, or just your overall computer if it is available. Sorry if this does not work, I've never seen this problem.

  Make a backup, preferably 2 backups on 2 separate drives.

  Quit the application.

  In Finder and hold the option/alt key while clicking on the menu item Go. Select the library. Then go to Preferences/com.apple.dock.extra.plist. Move the .plist on your desktop.

  Restart your computer, open the application and test. If it works fine, delete the plist for the office.

  If the application is the same, return the .plist where you got it, crushing the latest.

  If you want to make your library user visible permanently, run the command in Applications/Utilities/Terminal Server below.

• Illustrator + inDesign quit unexpectedly / crashing

  I'm working on a Mac OS X Version 10.5.8 with a 2.4 GHz processor Intel Core 2 Duo and 2 GB memory.

  I tried to export a document from inDesign with 50 or so different fonts (simple police Tester, but with many fonts sheet) to PDF but the application quit unexpectedly. I am still able to open documents in inDesign, but not export it in PDF format (I tried to export a document with a single word in helvetica, but it did not work, page will export as a jpg). I am now also impossible to open illustrator - it closes unexpectedly before opening a document. I have tried to install the new updates from adobe, reinstall illustrator and inDesign, installation of a FontAgentPro4 and in reviewing my fonts, restart the computer several times, etc.

  I suspect there is a problem with one of the fonts I downloaded (I downloaded these from dafont and installed with FontBook) and although I've trashed many fonts, don't want to lose all the (certainly not the basic fonts that come with programs).

  Can someone help me with how else to solve this problem? I am in desperate need of these programs and have already lost all day trying to solve this problem.

  It looks like a police problem. If you have looked for corrupt fonts with FAP and not found, the problem could well be a poorly made policy, and these gifts is a good bet.

  The fast way to find a bad police to remove half (I delete all the free and let those who came with your programs), reboot and test. If things work theres a bad font in the group that you deleted, if it isn't or bad police is still in the group that remains is is not a police problem.

  If things work, back half the fonts you removed and test again. If they have not, take half of what you left the first time, but make sure that you don't remove not essential system fonts. Adding / removing half of a group at a time after each test, you should be able to find a single in less than 10 steps font, even if you have thousands.
