After be let down with my freedom to update my OS as a solution to harder viruses on the Internet today, I am skeptical of Microsoft product and I'm starting to browse the other OS on the market that sell me a license to refresh my computer even as many times I have come to fight against the malicious viruses out there. Can someone tell me how to get my XP reactivated before the 30 days is up? I'll even do fresh install more if that's what it takes to get this one last chance to have a successful XP activation.

• MacBook stopping randomly

  I had this problem intermittently for the last month or so. My Macbook Pro (only 2 years) will start at the stop at random times while using.

  What happens is that the screen will become black (but always on) that the computer slowly shuts off everything. It takes about 5-10 seconds to do. This happens while I'm running a number of different programs, so it doesn't seem to be a particular program, causing the closure.

  I've excluded from power supply that the problem occurred when running on the battery, and while it is plugged.

  I looked everywhere on the internet for the same problem, but most of the forums for this issue are several years old and generally not related to my problem. It could be related to the RAM, but I'm not sure.

  If someone could suggest something that I would be very happy because it is a very frustrating problem. I've lost so much work not registered this summer and I can't afford to lose more.

  In your case I would visit the Toshiba driver download site. Download and install each driver and tool that you can find for your laptop model. It's really important. Otherwise, things will not work properly. They do not slow laptop because they are needed.

  You can use the program mentioned by Akuma or install HD Tune. This program can scan the HARD drive for bad sectors and there is also a portable version that you can run from a USB key and don t need an installation:

  I am completely green when comes to classes from LV, but seeks to understand them.

  Is it possible to use the first call? primitive inside a method static shipping VI? It seems to work very well when I have a single instance of my class, but does not work if I create multiple instances (which was my goal in the first place). The first call returns true for the first instance only, all others it returns false, all the time.

  Thanks for the comments of Ben,

  I found the problem after a bit of headache. The VI had to be on the re-entrant (clone).  I only figured this out when the class was behaving really wrong with multiple instances (but no used first call), he was tracked down finally to a feedback within the class node (once again resolved by re-entering and cloned).

  Now, I thought that having the VI as reentrante and clone done somewhat ugly design, so I reworked the class for not using the feedback node and an init method (as you also suggest).

  Now it works! :-)

• HP c4700 printer range

  My printer prints off the internet from my laptop.
