Do you mean when you restart, Windows explore opens in the windows\system32 folder?

Microsoft knows why and tell you here:

http://support.Microsoft.com/?kbid=170086

Here's what Microsoft does not tell you in this article (a way to back up your registry):

Before making changes to the registry, back up your registry with this free and easy to use tool popular:

They can be uninstalled later if you wish.

Don't forget to reboot your system and test, the back of the report please your results.

  • I have windows 7 64 bit operating system says my computer starts windows system 32

I have a gateway laptop with windows 7 Home premium. Clealy system I.D. indicates 64-Bit os.  Windows has been shut down and restart without being invited.  I wanted to see the info to start.  This computer starts up and all the info in the trunk are saying Windows 32-bit system? What happened here?  According to me, that's why Windows keeps stopping.  How can I fix this? At all times, may not install certain security updates as well.

How can I suddenly have a 64-bit os which is starting to 32-bit.  It started in early April.

Where do you see this saying 32-bit?

If you open your Start menu, click computer and select Properties, the system properties box that opens will tell you the correct number of bits of your operating system.

Please note that it is possible (and very common) to have a 64-bit processor in your computer, but a 32-bit operating system.  In fact, it is the most popular configuration of Windows 7.

    Hello

I recently received a refurbished nine old Dell Core 2 Duo with Windoze 7 on it and it was working fine. I love!

However, I received a notification from Microsoft that I could pass on Windoze 7 to 10, so I signed up for it.

I've also recently updated my laptop Gateway of Windoze 8.1 to 10 Windoze. I've also updated my Windoze 8.1 Tablet 7 "to 10 Windoze.

I also use a Dell with Windoze 7 at work. I really like Windoze 7 better than Windoze 10. Its ease of use, I think that is better in 7 to 10.

A few days ago I was told on my refurbished Dell that Windoze 10 was ready to install the disk. Then I started the installation process. At some point in the installation process, he asked if I was sure that I wanted to install the new OS. At this time, I got cold feet and decided to not do it now, because I really liked how the computer worked for me and the speed was great, and I decided that I wanted to wait until I became more familiar with 10 on my other devices. I chose not to complete the installation.

A few days passed, and when I sat in front of the computer, there was a notice that I had Windoze updates installed for my computer and needed to restart. I chose to not not re-boot and let it install new updates.

A few hours later then that I was ripping a CD, the computer suddenly closes on its own, and the message came not to shut down my computer while updates have been made, so I don't have and he finished what he was doing and restarted my computer.

"When it started to reboot, a message on the screen that says," initialization of Intel (R) Boot Agent GE V1.2.50 PXE 2.1 Build 086 (WfM 2.0) and he hooked up with a blinking cursor. "

I did all sorts of diagnostics on the computer. I tried to use a Registry Mechanic for Windoze 7 Repair Boot and nothing works!

I still get the same message everytime I restart the computer, then Windoze NEVER load.

I wonder if there is no way I can take this form of initialization of the JIU for the operating system to start.

    Any suggestions will be appreciated.

    Thank you

  • How can I stop Windows XP open My Documents on startuo?

    Hello

I just reinstalled Windows XP Pro and after installation of SP2 evert time I start Windows automatically open My Documents.

    How can I stop this?

    Thank you.

You have a false entry in one of your startup locations.

First, click Start > all programs > startup and see if there is an entry that would open up My Documents.

If you can't find the entry in the startup folder, download and run Autoruns.  Let it complete the scan (shown bottom left), then click the 'connection '.  Look at the entries and the beginning my Documents should be obvious.  Remove the line or uncheck the box at the beginning of the line (if you think you might ever want to reactivate this entry).

    Here's what I did...

    -Turn on the computer.

-After the Dell logo, when the screen goes black, Power OFF.

-Then, turn again and press F2 to enter the BIOS.

-When you are in the Bios, go to the menu 'BOOT.

-Then go to "STARTUP OPTION add" and press "Enter."

-In the new window that opens, go to 'The BOOT OPTION NAME' and type ' CD/DVD/CD-RW Drive' without the quotes.

-Tab down to "YES" and press Enter

-Now, you should see ' CD/DVD/CD-RW Drive' in the list under "ORDER of PRECEDENCE to BOOT and BOOT UEFI.

-Press the button "+" to move ' CD/DVD/CD-RW Drive' to the top of the boot list.

-Press F10 to save changes and exit.

  • Can not register opimize: when I start computer, a window opens opimize the registry failed

When I start computer a window opens opimize the registry failed

    Hi Harry,.

Looks like you have some program registry installed and programmed to run at startup, which does not work.  I suggest we identify and remove the boot and then remove it totally from the system (uninstall).  Registry modification programs are generally risky, rarely do much good, can cause great harm and are not really necessary as Windows does a good job of managing the registry on its own.

Try a boot minimum http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135.  If the problem goes away then it's just a matter of tracking down the culprit at the origin of the problem.   Follow the procedures described in the article.  Once found, remove, delete, disable or uninstall.  Once don't forget to reset your operating system to normal status, as described in the procedures. If the problem occurs in clean mode then just restore the system to normal and reboot - this solution will not work.

Start in safe mode with network and see if the problem is here.  A result allows us to narrow down the search for the cause.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

I tried to install a 30 GB drive to Fireball over using a disk enclosure external hard Octigen SATA-USB 2.0 on an Acer Aspire T671 under Vista Premium computer. If you are not able to format the drive, there may be a hardware problem.

  • PHANTON Drive; When I try to open the my computer Explorer window is white and I get a message that I need to format the drive F.

    Hello

I have a laptop running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.  The HARD drive is configured to have a small partition for reserved system, Partition C for the system and the Partiton E for my files.  D drive is the DVD ROM Drive.

Very occasionally when I try to open the my computer Explorer window is white and I get a message that I need to format the drive F.  I did not have a permanent Drive F and when this happened had no other connected devices.

Drive F is often used, as are other drive letters, by various devices from time to time, such as external hard drives, Flash, my TomTom SatNav players, camera, readers of cards etc.

Can someone explain why this happens and if I can do something to stop what is happening in the future?
