Concerns about the iPhone models SE and coverage

I picked up a SIM free iPhone SE yesterday but the store left with a nagging feeling that I put in an artificial box regarding coverage. The phone that I purchased seems to use usable only in the USA (with all carriers but Sprint), with little or no coverage abroad, including Europe and the Canada. The alternative model looks like it is a real phone in the world with full coverage in the world, but has no compatibility with Verizon. I am with AT & T currently so each model should work with my current plan. I have the nagging impression that I would be better off with the other model, but can not find answers to some of the most basic questions, such as:

  • My phone model (A1662) actually will not work in Europe or the Canada? If it works, what is the level of quality can I expect?
  • The phone Sprint (A1723) also works well with AT & T as the SIM-free model?

(Especially for the benefit of Apple), I must point out that size, no awards, has been the only consideration in getting an SE. I am not at all interested in a 6s for this reason, but I want to assure you that I have a phone that will meet my needs if I travel.

  • The iPhone model A1662 can work with T-Mobile and Verizon?

I never had an iPhone and am looking to buy the 16 GB iPhone model. Currently my carrier is T-Mobile, but because of problems of coverage in a rural area, I might want to switch to Verizon. I'm in a family plan so have other members to consider.

    (1) the same phone will work with both carriers, if I buy an unlocked model of Apple?

    (2) I will be able to use WiFi calling if I buy the unlocked model of Apple?

    (3) are there other things for me to consider? Of course, I'm a beginner with the iPhone (although use a 3rd gen iPad), so I probably don't need the fancy options for a long time. I could on vacation outside the United States, however, is why call WiFi can be important.

  • Concerns about the workouts with the Apple Watch - request for comments and Suggestions

I'm a professional skill that has recently upgraded from a Polar to the Apple Watch.  I am delighted to stop wearing the chest strap of the Polar, but even though I love my new watch, I wish for some improvements in the future.  Training categories are too vague.  When you set up a 'training' on my Apple Watch, which is the step class, I was ANOTHER selection to OPEN.  Others who do?  What others recommend?  And I'm trying to decide whether to use Active or Total calories during the recording of my activities in my Fitbit dashboard.  One last thing, I find it odd to be worked hard and look down to see my heart rate displayed as 60, when I know that it takes more than 130.  I would like to hear from other fitness in mind of people about my problems.  Thank you.

    Hello

When a workout is started, choose the type of activity that best fits the nature of your exercise activity. For any activity other than the named options, select the other (for example, your step class).

The types of activities in the application of the workout on Apple Watch help the watch to determine what sensors / data sources to use in follow-up and evaluate the results of your activity. For example:

-To run in the open air, the watch can use the heart rate sensor, accelerometer integrated and GPS of the iPhone paired (if it is available during the race).

-For inside running (on a treadmill), the watch will be based on the accelerometer to estimate the distance and pace (as GPS data are not relevant).

-Indoor activities, the watch will be based mainly on the frequency heart readings to estimate of burning calories.

The other category is therefore useful (from point of view of the watch) by advising that certain types of activities are not undertaken.

During the follow-up of one exercise using the others, your watch will estimate active calories based on one that is the higher of:

    -L'equivalent of a brisk walk (calories saved on this basis can vary per person, based on their personal information), or;

-The data recorded by the heart rate sensor.

When you use the other, activity app will also credit the ring of progress of exercise with one minute for every minute of the workout.

If you want Apple to consider adding specific types of additional activities for the purpose of the workout, you can suggest that here:

  • Problem about the iPhone 6 s MORE and Ford SYNC (Ford Ecosport) bluetooth pairing.

    Hello Apple community!

I have an iPhone MORE 6s firmware iOS 9.2.1 running and a Ford Ecosport trend M/T (bought last March 2015).

I always pair my iPhone with audio system in my car (Ford SYNC) every time I jump in my car every day. I drive 4 hours per day and I'm fond of listening to music with my iPhone through the car radio in my car. But while playing music a few days ago my iPhone just disconnected my car bluetooth device. I tried to pair it several times, but it keeps disconnecting. I switched to the USB mode (I always connect my iPhone to my car for the end of charge and also to listen to music when I want to disable my iPhone bluetooth), my iPhone is connected, but all I hear is static, whenever I play music from my iPhone.

I tried to delete my audio system phone master reset Ford SYNC and bluetooth devices list and also reset my iPhone, but it still shows the same results. I would appreciate anyone's response on what I live now.

Thank you so much in advance!

PS: I already upgraded my iPhone iOS firmware to 9.2.1 before that happened.

    Kind regards

    Marc

    Hello, m.asebo.

It seems that you are having problems with your iPhone 6s more lose connection to the audio system of your car there. You did some great troubleshooting so far. Great job. The following Knowledge Base article offers up a few big steps to troubleshoot your iPhone:

Get help to connect a secondary Bluetooth device with your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch

    First try these steps

    1. Make sure that your device iOS and Bluetooth Accessory are close together.
    2. Make sure your Bluetooth accessory is on and fully charged or connected to power. If it uses batteries, test them to see if they need to be replaced.
    3. Restart your Bluetooth accessory.
    4. Make sure you have the latest version of iOS on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch.
    5. On your iOS device, go to settings > Bluetooth and make sure Bluetooth is on. If you cannot turn on Bluetooth or you see a spinning gear, restart your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch.
    6. Pairing the Bluetooth accessory, replace the accessory in detection mode, then pair and connectagain.

If you still cannot match or connect your Bluetooth accessory

Check with the manufacturer of Bluetooth to make sure that your accessory works with your iOS device. Contact the Apple Support if you have any of these problems:

    • You can't turn on Bluetooth or the setting is gray.
    • You cannot connect any Bluetooth accessories with your device.
    • The accessory manufacturer has confirmed that your accessory works properly.

Thank you for reaching out to the communities of Apple Support.

  • General questions about the iphone compatible hearing aids, please?

I am a seller of oil field that moves and I need my first hearing aids.  I have loss of hearing with a classic old guy and it's average but I'm late for h / a. I'm missing an important part of my life and want to hear the birds sing again!  I currently use a 5 s with 9.2 and a bluetooth Plantronics traveler legend.  I have hands free for safe driving and especially for taking notes of value and wear it all day.  I don't listen to music or videos, no vehicle bluetooth and any other iOS device.  The goal is good h/a and the use of good phone.

I am interested in the Halo of Starkey and research scared me a bit of the questions that I barely understand!  Googling found a lot of comments, but they seem to all written by agents of sale or competitors.

Where is the microphone bluetooth on the Halos?

Is the call phone stereo or mono?

The function of the hearing aid remains so that on the phone?

In light of my basic needs, all warnings other than the stupid of these things cost?

I am also considering a 6s, this would be a better phone for the Halo team?

Prone glitch or awkward iphone apps?

I'm bored of conversation in the meeting rooms, restaurants are tough and shows are terrible for the hearing?

Generally you are happy with new h/a and halos in particular.

Everything is provided with a newbie would not recognize that you like?

Let me know if you need more details.

Where is the microphone bluetooth on the Halos?

--> The microphone's upstairs behind the part of the ear. If you use the Halos as your ears "on the phone", you still talk in the phone's microphone.

Is the call phone stereo or mono?

--> Is not true stereo, but you will hear the call through two hearing aids.

The function of the hearing aid remains so that on the phone?

--> You can leave the active hearing aid microphones or cut them. It's your choice.

In light of my basic needs, all warnings other than the stupid of these things cost?

--> Feel free to test-drive a few models, unless the first really works well for you.,.

I am also considering a 6s, this would be a better phone for the Halo team?

-->, I can't comment on that, except to say that my experience with multiple iPhones over the years that I have great confidence that each new model is better than the previous. There are a few bumps on the road, but Apple is good enough, solve them. YMMV

Prone glitch or awkward iphone apps?

    --> Not, in my opinion.

I'm bored of conversation in the meeting rooms, restaurants are tough and shows are terrible for the hearing?

--> Which has not changed for me. It is the nature of sound amplification without being able to directly select that sounds to amplify and to mute.

Generally you are happy with new h/a and halos in particular.

    -->, I am very happy.

Everything is provided with a newbie would not recognize that you like?

--> I like the ability to define a 'from' sensitive geographically, where you can control the volume up down and the bass/treble back. It is a crude tool, but it works.

  • V26, about the differences between Android and iOS

I asked a question yesterday about the Adobe ID number that we use to create multiple Folio and track stats for Android, iPhone & iPad downloads etc.  Now that v26 goes direct, it won't really be a difference between the display of our publication on Android or Apple device. We use about images and texts, really no videos used.

We used to create a good sharp vector folio for ipad, then reuse everything and put it all to "raster" and for Android devices. (we allowed just the device Android to the scale of our content)

    But I'm curious...

Now that v. 26 allows PDF on the Android articles... There is really no need to create another option of folio for us.

    But what about the cost?

If we just download the 1 folio to be viewed on both devices, how understand us what our publication is read on most of the platform?  The service determines DPS what folio will receive a user based on the device ID?

just curious to see how this is handled.

    Thank you.

Analytics is presented separately for each device. If you use SiteCatalyst, you can do various reports based on the type of device.

  • Message from Apple about the IPHONE 5 optimization

I just received the following message from Apple after updating our application from a standalone application to a newspaper kiosk application successfully. Although our update of the app was approved and is now online, I don't know if that has no effect on the direct kiosk application?

    Dear developer,

We found one or more problems with the delivery of your recent to 'startupBahrain '. Your delivery was a success, but you can fix the following problems in your next delivery:

iPhone 5 optimization requirement - your binary is not optimized for the iPhone 5. Since May 1st, all the new iPhone apps and updates of application submitted must support the screen 4 inches on the iPhone 5. All applications must include a picture of launch of the appropriate size. Learn more about support for the iPhone 5 in reviewing the iOS Human Interface Guidelines.

If you want to update your binary for this application, you can refuse this binary of binary details page in iTunes Connect. Note that reject your binary will delete your app to the queue of the review and the review process will start again when you return your binary.

    Kind regards

    The App Store team

    Can you please specify?

With the next version of May 1, DPS App Builder will include a parameter required for a launch image 640 x 1136 (also called a "splash screen"). The next time that you update your application, include this image. You can also build a rendering 1136 x 640 when the tools are updated to avoid the black bars on the iPhone 5.

  • Frozen contacts after iOS 10.0.1 update on the iPhone 6 s and sometimes phone stops itself

    Hi all

My contacts sometimes freeze (when I search a contact) and I have to force to leave contacts/phone to re - use the contacts/phone app. This has happened only once 10 update iOS. My phone also sometimes just suddenly stop (that too after the update!) It has happened twice already. The battery was more than sufficient when it happened.

    Any ideas?

    Kind regards

    Harris

Try resetting your device. This will not erase your data stored on that device.

    • Press and hold the sleep/wake button
    • Press and hold the Home button
    • Press and hold both buttons until the display turns off and on again with the Apple logo on the subject.

Alternatively, you can go to settings - general - reset - Reset all settings

If that doesn't work, restore your device to factory settings. Please note that this will delete the data on your device.

Take a look this Apple Support article: use iTunes to restore the iPhone, iPad or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support.

  • How to remove Photos from the iPhone/iPad/iCloud and no pictures

How to take a photo with my iPhone/iPad, allow it to synchronize with Photos on my Mac via iCoud, then delete from my iPhone/iPad/iCloud and removes any Photos on Mac? I want to save the photo on your computer and save space on small devices?

I keep seeing articles on the iCloud market turn but it seems the photos all return on the devices once restarted. I want to iCloud on use as a conduit to get the photos to my computer, not as a large storage space. I want the Photos app on my Mac where all the photos are filled and stored and choose those which is left each device.

Right now they are all in the pictures on the Mac, but I'm worried if I remove it from my iPhone/iPad that they will disappear from Photos on the Mac. I don't understand the new Photos app with all the missing features of iPhoto.

    Thank you!

You can not that's not how works iCloud photo library - it is not a conduit but a total synchronization service whose entire raison d'etre is to keep libraries connected identical - all changes made on any device (addition, deletion or modification) are made on all devices. For devices with limited memory, using optimized photos

If this isn't what you want then use another service - USB import, iTunes sync, MyPhotoStream for example each do different things and everyone can move photos from one device to another

And Photos lack a lot of features iPhoto form - in fact much more features than iPhoto including iCloud library there like a bigger and better editing capability and better external editing capability and so on

  • Connect the iPhone to MacBook and Apple Watch at the same time?

    Hello world

Is it possible to simultaneously connect the iPhone to the Apple Watch and MacBook via Bluetooth?

Would be wise to have this feature to enjoy the continuity between all 3 devices (and taking calls, etc.).

I tried to do this, but my iPhone and my MacBook do not connect to each other.

    Thanks in advance.

My iPhone connects to my watch , 2 Mac, iPad 2 and 2 iPhones using the parameters of continuity. I can take and make calls on 7 devices when connected to the same WiFi network. For Macs, it must be new enough to support BlueTooth 4.

  • What is the best things about the iPhone OS?

I wonder if anyone thinks that the SE would be a good option for a child of 12 years instead of going with the more expensive models.  He seems to have everything a pre-teen would use.

Yes, it has almost all the specifications of the iPhone 6 s.

  • Hello, I would like to talk about the iPhone that I don't have.

Please help me, please hear me out until the end, I live in Ukraine (just there is no choice) I got iphone 5 gray area, I lost it somewhere, then went to the police and wrote to declare that you have lost it, they asked the documents that I gave them, but half a year later that they are not returned to me neither documents nor the telephone not found , so I would like you to understand my situation and really I would that you gave me a new iPhone 4 at least, I just really respect your products and love, without he cannot live, but as of the Ukraine with these wars, I don't have to buy a new and I would like that everything that you gave me a new you're the richest company in the world of electronics and among the most intelligent, I think that if you help me and give me a new iPhone you will become bad company? If the Manager is reading this, could you show this message to the main office if you can help me further? I really really want the iPhone.

No Manager or an Apple employee will ever read this message because you post on a forum of support technique user at-which you were informed in the terms and conditions of this forum you agreed before joined you or you have not bothered to read?

If you want a new iPhone then go out and buy one as everyone should.

  • A few questions about the use of data and Cliq

I have the cliq, however I chose to not get 3G (so I bought full fare). So I have a few questions about the phone and the use of 3G / 2 G/Edge:

1 - is possible to disable completely the 2G / 3 G/Edge? I know you can switch between them, but are anyway just tell the phone to stop using them altogether since I'm not subbed to the service?

    2. when the update takes place, I guess we'll have to reconnect motoblur and etc, but if I don't have 3 G will I have motoblur connection problems after the update? Or he keeps the latest wifi settings so that it would connect to wifi to connect. When I first got my phone it was not a problem b/c I had 3G for the first month.

I hope that makes sense, thanks!

To stop all the data, I would like to download an application called APNDroid. He cut them all down. When you log on to blur you have 3G or WIFI doe this without getting a timeout error. During the process of setting up your Blur account, you can press the menu button and set up your wifi to work, this will connect you to Blur and your phone will be connected to the blur. If I were you I would be rethinking to do a data plan since you are really losing out on most of your main features of phones. It's your choice, however.
