I also used the Ctrl + C and CTRL-Z commands in the Terminal to leave the alfred_script, but nothing helped. I'm running out of ideas here, so I hope you could help me either reinstall the mail.app. I could always just switch to a different mail application, but it's kind of a last resort.

  Not sure that Alfred's, but it's just an Applescript script and it would not cause Mail to be planted.

  However, when running through all the messages, it is possible Mail database has been corrupted and it crashes because of this.

  My first instinct would be to rebuild the mailbox. Because you can't do that with him crashing, you can simply delete the databases and it will rebuild them.

If after restoring your backup files freeze returned, the problem may be with the files itself.   I was wondering if someone can help me.  I updated my iPhone 5 today and after updating my home button wasn't working properly.  I am able to hold down the home button and Siri responds, I can double click on the home button and the iPhone will list all my applications open, but when I open app and single click to minimize the application, the home button does not.  It worked before I upgraded to iOS 9.2.1.  After the update, I've also restored my iPhone to the latest backup.

  Here's what you need to do.

  • Connect your iPhone to your computer and back up all the content on your iPhone.

  I can no longer use Siri or dictated on my iPhone 6 since the update to iOS 9.3. Siri works very well on my mini ipad and Apple TV just the iPhone 6. Requested services customer who were less useless. Had me to restore all the settings so that I lost all my customization and Siri always unusable. Someone please help. Is this a known issue?

  I had this same problem. That's what I did which appeared to fix (not sure if that fix or if it sets just itself). I ran the mcupdate.exe file located in the C:\windows\ehome\ directory (or some windows player is on). Yet once again, I'm not sure if this corrects the problem, or if it randomly determines.
